a light slowly began to glow in the center of the flower. it grew and grew and then dissapeared leaving alittle boy. standing in the middle of the flower.

the boy started to rotate then flames went up around him and he was replaced with a handsome young man.

Ninoko smiled as she watched them look at their son. the young man looked really firmiliar but she couldn't place where she might have seen him before.

The flower finally went out.
"Isn't that the guy we saw with our daughter?" He asked softly in her ear.

Ninoko thought a moment then nodded, that was where she had seen him before. "Yeah," she said, "that's him." she smiled a little, her hand resting on her stomach.

Ninoko knelt down and fingered the flower. it's glow grew and grew and then their little girl appeared, this time she wasn't alone. she was about six and she was dancing (or trying to) with the little boy that had just been there a few moments ago, Xerxes and Faith's son.

Ninoko fell to her knees, looking at the flower. "Why is she crying?" she asked the flower, "Why is my daughter in tears?" she looked closely at the flower, wanting to touch the little figure in it's center but too afraid that if she did it would vanish.

Ninoko went to turn away into Mikhails grasp but something caught her eye. a little person standing on one of the child-flowers, so small it was almost impossible to see but she was almost sure it was there. she stared intently at it, trying to decide if it was real or just her imagination. it could easily be either one.

"I'm not sure." Ninoko said softly, "Do you see it?" she pointed her little finger at where she thought she saw the little person not daring to get any closer than an a quarter of an inch away.

He didn't want his little girl to have to be alone, especially if Faith and Xerces son was he lifemate, who knows what would happen to her then. one tear slid down his cheek just thinking about it.

Ninoko looked at Mikhail a moment then burried her face in his shoulder again. she couldn't stop the feeling that she would cause her daughter pain. even with her face turned away she could still the her daughter in her mind. crying over the little person standing on a child-flower. I just wish i knew why she is crying. she thought.

Ninokar went into his room to change. once he was changed he got to work. quickly he drew the outline on the wall of where the door would be. then he three simbles, one for highth, one for width, one for depth. the stepped back a little, pressing his fingers to the simbles and recited their names. his breath turning into a mist and tracing the simbles making them glow. when he was finished, a door swong upon. he walked into Blues room to find her lying on the bed in a white dress. he could hardly breath, she was so beautiful. "Wow." was all he could say.

Ninokar watched his sister cry. it pained him to see it but he knew Mikhail could take care of her. "come on." he said to Xerxes and Faith, "let's go in. supper's probably just about ready."

Faith smiled back a little.

Stephanies face turned from a rosy pink to a ashish color then reddish. "You mean i'm not going to be your maid of honor?" she asked. Ninoko shook her head, "I'm sorry cousin, but Raven is my best friend, it's only right that she be my maid of honor."
"So you chose her over family?" Her cousin asked.
She nodded, holding Mikhail's hand under the table.
Ninokar broke in and saved her from farther talk. "Does everyone know Xerxes and Faith?" he asked, "To his relatives he said, "This is my best friend Xerxes and his Wife Faith. Xerxes is going to be my Best Man." the attention turned to the other couple as people said hi and nice to meet you and how do you dos. Ninoko sighed, she knew they'd forget about the former topic once done with that but her cousin Stephany wouldn't. and the thought of what she might do out of anger scared her a little.

xerxes smiled, he felt bad for ninoko and wanted to help but didn't know what he could do.

Ninoko smiled at Mikhail. then the attention turned from Xerxes and Faith back to them and the questions about wedding arrangments and flowers and colors and dresses and parties and most uncomfertable of topics, children came. she answered as many as she could just wanting them all to stop. her food was probably already cold and would be colder by the time she actually got to eat it.

That might be nice. she thought while trying to answer questions about things she hadn't even thought of yet. this might be a good time to ask about moving the wedding up though.

Ninoko thought a moment. I don't know, she said, It might be better if i ask. she turned to her mother who was just afew seats away. "Um, mother," she said, "I have a question..."
"What is it darling?" her mother asked.
"Um, would we be able to move the wedding up a few weeks maybe?" she asked. some people who were listening in gasped alittle and her father's ears turned slightly red.
"Why would you want to do that darling?" he mother asked.
Ninoko couldn't think of anything to say.

"Because, my family members can only make it in two weeks and can't stay long." Mikhail replied for her."And they ewally would like to come."

xerxes almost choked on his food when he heard that.

The queen looked at her husband who's ears where scarlet now. at least he's keeping his temper. Ninoko thought. the king stared at them, unblinking for a few moment then looked down away, "What do i can when they're wedding is?" he asked his wife softly, "Go ahead and move it up, break wingling tradishon for all i care." he began to eat his food again. her mother put a hand on his shoulder and turned back to them, "Alright, so it will be in two weeks then?" she asked.
Ninoko smiled and nodded. "Thank you." she said.

Ninokar gave Xerxes a look and turned back to his food.

Mikhail felt bad, but it was something they had to do.
"you alright?" Faith asked Xerxes.

A buzz started around the table of people talking to each other but nobody to Ninoko or Mikhail. Ninoko took the opertunity to start eating her food. That was surprisingly easy. she thought

Ninoko smiled at him as she ate. the rest of the meal went on without anyting unusual happening. but Stephany kept giving Ninoko an look that made her very uncomfortable.

Mikhail gave Stephany a glare, seeing her look over.

After Mikhail's glare Stephany kept her eyes on her food. but the look in her eye remained and it made Ninoko uneasy. she was glad when supper was over.

Mikhail finished drinking and looked at Ninoko.

Slowly, one by one, people finished up and left the dinning hall. Ninoko finished and stood up, "I'm going to bed." she told her mother. "Good night everyone." she said to the remaining of her relitives.

Mikhail looked up at her."Want me to take you to your room?" He asked softly, his voice a soft velvet.

Ninoko smiled and nodded, "Yes please," she said, she could feel Stephany's look back on her but she tried to ignore it.

"Alright." He smiled and got up, offering her a hand, as he always did.

"we should probably be going..." xerxes wispered to faith.

"Yeah." She nodded and stood up.

Ninoko took his hand as always. "Why don't you stay here for the night." she asked Xerxes and Faith, "It'd probably be easier to stay here than travel in the dark."

"we should get going" xerxes said smileing, "it was very nice seeing you again" he said bowing to ninokar and ninoko's parents.

The king and queen nodded to them. "You sure you don't want to stay?" Ninokar asked as he walked his friend to the door.

"quite sure.." xerxes said smileing.

Faith cursied then quickly followed Xerxes and Ninokar.
"Come on love, they must want to go home." He gently kissed her tempol.

"Alright." Ninokar said, "Be sure to be back here in two weeks for the wedding though." he shook hands with Xerxes and kissed Faith's hand. "Take care now."
Ninoko nodded, they left the dinning hall and walked up to her room. she hid a yawn.

"You too." Faith smiled then slipping her fingers through Xerxes's.

xerxes smiled, "i will don't worry... and what ever happend to you and that blue girl?" he asked laughing.

Ninokar smiled, "She's visiting with her sisters." He replied, "Aparently they haven't seen each other in a long time."
Ninoko nodded, they left the dinning hall and walked up to her room. she hid a yawn.

xerxes laughed "really? i doubt it.. she just does want to see you" he said. "well we should get going bye!" he said walking with faith.

Ninokar punched his friend on the arm, "See ya." he said, "Call me when the baby comes."

"Your tired." Mikhail said softly, opening her door for her.

Faith giggled softly and waved, then walking out with him.

xerxes smiled, "so how did you like meeting ninokar?" he asked as they walked back through the forrest.

Ninoko nodded, "I'm tired a lot lately." she said. she changed into her silk night dress and climbed into bed.

"Yes, he was nice. They all were, but he cousin looked annoying...and mean..." She said.

"My body is probably still getting used to the changes." She said, she was already half asleep, "Once i'm used to be pregnant i'll probably have more energy."

"Good night, Mikhail." she mummbled, the next moment she was asleep.

"Oh. Sounds like fun." She smiled, and yawned.

He smiled and went into his room, showering and getting into bed.

They arrived back at her home."Just wondering, when do I get to meet your family?" She asked softly as they headed up to her room.

Ninoko dreamed her and Mikhail where walking along a dirt path, hand in hand. it was midnight, as usual. as they walked they came upon Stephany. she had an evil smile on her face. Before Ninoko could figure out why her father came from above. "YOU!" he screached and made for Mikhail. "Father NO!" she screamed as he and Mikhail faught. "This is what you get." Stephany told her, "This is what happens when you choose friends over family!"

"you can meet them tomarow.." xerxes said smileing.

Mikhail felt her stress. He awoke and went into her room, laying next to her.

"Yes..." She replied. Getting some ojs and going into the bathroom to change.

xerxes chaged in the room, and them got into bed.

Ninoko felt Mikhail get into her bed with her and the dream changed. she was back in the feild of child-flowers, walking down the path. she stopped infront of the old wingling. "Why was my baby crying?" she asked.
"That is not for me to say." The old wingling said, "I watch their lives, i do not tell them."
"I dreamed before this that my father found out..." Ninoko trailed off.
"About your child?" the old man finished, "Indeed he has."
tears filled Ninoko's eyes, "He'll hurt Mikahil though," she said, "What can we do?"
"He will not harm your husband." The old man said, "He can not, physically, he is not able."
"He's not?" Ninoko asked, she wasn't sure what he meant. "Why can't he?"
"Blood." was all the old man said as he began to fade.
"Wait!" Ninoko called, "I still don't understand!"
"You will see me again." the old man replied, and she was left alone again with the single flower.

Faith slipped on her knee length black night gown and got into bed, snuggling up to him.

Mikhail wrapped his arms around her, coforting.

xerxes smiled, and (my brain went dead.....) put his arm around her.

Slowly Ninoko woke up, before she opened her eyes she felt Mikhail's arms around her, she smiled slightly and opened her eyes, looking up at him. he hadn't been there when she'd fallen asleep, "Mikhail?" she asked.

"Night." She whispered, her head resting on his chest.

"godnight" he said softly kissing her hair.

She smiled up at him, "I love you." she said, closing her eyes again and sighing, after a moment she opened them again, "What does cara mean?" she asked.

She smiled and fell asleep.

"Ah," Ninoko said closing her eyes. "alright." she sighed. then remembered her dreams and frowned, "Mikhail, do you think dreams mean anything?" she asked.

xerxes woke up before faith, and got out of bed, walking into the bathroom to get a shower.

"Oh, I'm sorry, mi cara." He said softly kissing her neck.

Faith heard the shower and stayed in bed, waiting so she could get in.

"It's alright." Ninoko said, "They kind of scared me thought. in the first one Stephany was there and my father attacked you. in the second one, i was talking with the old man again, he said that my father found out, but he couldn't hurt because of blood. i don't know what he meant." she was quiet for a moment, thinking, "He also called you my husband." she said.

xerxes got out, and chaged then walked out.

"Tenicly in my race we are married." He said, refuring to the tradition he and her did, giving them a child in the process.

"Morning." Faith said softly, sitting up.

"goodmorning...." xerxes said kissing her softly on the forehead, "i'm going to go talk to the cook and see if there is anything you can take so you don't get sick..." he said.

Ninoko smiled, "Yeah." she said, "I'm glad." she frowned, "do you think it's true?" she asked, "Do you think my father really found out?"
