Maizah waved a little but Ninoko was already asleep. she turned to her father, "shh." she said.

He smiled and nodded then went to the living room, setting out a blanket for Maizah with some toys on it as he plopped down on the couch.

Maizah giggled stacking some blocks up and knocking them down.

He smiled and watched her before going through movies he had got for her.

"Daddy." she said, crawling over to him and using his shirt to pull herself to her feet.

"Yes, baby?" He asked, looking at her.

"Wha dat?" she asked, pointing to the tv. they didn't watch much tv.

"Its a TV. Wanna watcha movie so I can show you?" He asked as he picked out the Lion King.

"yesh." Maizah said, poking the movie case.

"Kay." He smiled and got up. He put the movie in and hit play and pulled Maizah up on the couch with him.

Maizah bounced in Mikhail's lap as she ooed at the tv screen. "Lion!" she squeeled. She had one on her wall.

He laughed and nodded."Yeah."

"Ephant." she said, pointing to the elephants, "Geraph." she pointed to the giraffes.

He laughed softly."Mhm."

Maizah named animals all through the beginning. after a while she quieted and snuggled into her father's chest as she watched the movie. By the time it was over, she was fast asleep.

Mikhail picked her up and carried her to her crib, setting her down then going to check onNinoko.

Ninoko was awake and reading a book when he came in.

"Hey." He said, crawling into bed with her.

"hey." Ninoko smiled, kissing his cheek, "How was she?"

"She was good, we watched a movie..." He smiled.

"Aw, which movie?" Ninoko asked, snuggling close to him.

"The Lion King." He snuggled up to her.

"Oh," Ninoko said, "Sorry I missed it." The boys gave of a surge of delight and she smiled, "They're awake."

"Its alright, we can watch another later..." He smiled more then and laid a hand on her stomach."Hey guys..."

One boy gave another serge of delight and the other a serge of joy. Ninoko laughed a little bit, putting her hand over his, "They like you." she said, kissing his cheek.

"Me too." she said, snuggling a little closer to him.

He smiled and just held her.

Ninoko closed her eyes, sighing a little bit, "Is you're friend still here?" she asked, "Adian?"

"Yes, why?" He asked softly.

[Hikari Hoshi]

"Just wandering." Ninoko said softly, "Can we take a walk?" she asked.

"Mhm..." He said, getting up and then offering her a hand.

She smiled, taking his hand and getting up. she kissed him softly as they started out.

He walked with her, Adian poked his head out the door and grinned."So this is your lovly wife Mikhail?" He said, grinning. Mihsil rolled his eyes."Yes, Adian..."

Ninoko smiled a little bit, dropping into a small curtsey, "It's nice to meet you." she said, "We're going for a walk, would you like to join us?"

"Of corse." He smiled."Oh! I'm Adain." He smiled and kissed her hand lightly, Mihail growled lowly and Adain pulled away.

"I know." Ninoko said, "Raven told me all about you." she smiled up at Mikhail, squeezing his hand a little bit.

"I see..." He said gently, backing away from Mikhail a bit."So proective." He teased.
"You would be too." Mikhail muttered.

Ninoko smiled, kissing Mikhail's cheek, "I like it when you protect me." she said.

He calmed down a bit then and smiled slightly.

She squeezed his hand again, "Shall we go?" she asked.

He nodded and the all started walking again.

They walked out of the house and onto the path out side it. Ninoko smiled a little bit more, "It's a beautiful night." she said, looking at the stars.

"Yes, its lovely." Adian grinned.

Ninoko looked at the flowers along the side of the road and found what she was looking for, "Do you want to see what you're sons will look like?" she asked Mikhail, grinning a little.

"Yes." He smiled.
Adian raised an eyebrow.

[Hikari Hoshi]

Ninoko kissed his chin before kneeling next to a child-flower and touching the petles gently. A light appeared in the center, growing brighter and brighter until it dispersed and two little figures stood in the center, holding hands. two identical little boys who looked almost exactly like mini versions of Mikhail.

"Why do they all look more like me?" He asked in a murmured tone.

[Hikari Hoshi]

"Because they're little." Ninoko said, "And they're boys. Maizah will look like me when she grows up. That's what you keep telling me." she stood up and hugged him.

""True..." He nodded, smiling.

[Hikari Hoshi]

She smiled, kissing him softly, "Identical twins." she said, "We'll have to give them name tags so we can tell them apart." she teased.

He chuckled."Maybe their eyes are different...?"

"Mm, let's see." ninoko said looking at the boys holding hands on the flower, both their wings were black, "Nope, exactly the same. Maybe one will have a birthmark or something."

"Hopefully." He sighed.

"One challange after another." she said, kissing his chin.

"I know, love." He sighed and held her close.

Flames went up around the little boys and when it cleared two handsome young men much like Mikhail with wings stood back to back. One held a naked sword at the ready, the other held a spell book, his hand poised in a casting position.

Mikhail grinned, looking at the flower.

Ninoko smiled, "Such handsome men." she said, "Just like their father."

Adain rolled his eyes."All Carpathrains are handsome." He laughed.

Ninoko grinned, "Maybe." she said, "But Mikhail is the most handsome of all." she kissed his lips softly.

Mikhail laughed softly and then kissed her back.

Ninoko smiled into the kiss, pulling away slowly and resting her head against his chest. Flames went up around the two men and when they subsided they were gone.

Ninoko opened her eyes for a moment and something caught her eye. It looked like a shoe. She frowned a little bit, picking her head up off of Mikhail's chest. It wasn't just a shoe, but a food too, she could see the ankle and the hemn of a dress and the rest was covered in flowers. "Mikhail." she said, "Nobody lives out here besides us right?" she asked.

"Right..." He nodded slowly."WHy?"

"I think there's someone over there." she said, pointing to where she saw the shoe. she walked slowly over there and gasped. It was indeed a person, a girl around her own age with long golden brown hair. she was elegantly dressed in a royal blue dress with gold trim. she wasn't weary any jewelry though.

"Hmm a women?" Adian asked, he needed to feed. He poked his head over and his golden eyes went wide.

Ninoko wasn't paying attention to him, "What is she doing out here?" She asked, herself more then anyone. "Where could she have come from?"

"My eyes hurt now.." He said, rubbing them. The colors were all so bright. He started walking over to the women."Excuse me, miss, what are you doing out here?" He asked her gently.

The woman's eyes slowly fluttered open, she looked up and after a moment, sat bolt up right and screamed, "Please don't hurt me!" she cried, backing away.

He blinked, the colors all still ver whelming."Why would I hurt you?" he asked.

"D-didn't he send you to kill me?" she asked, shakily, "A-aren't you his servants?"

"No, and we have no idea who you are talking about..."

"They couldn`t sleep" blue wisphered "They both had a night mare, and Ninokar wanted to sleep with you"

The woman's face changed a little bit, she looked around then down at herself. She put a hand to her chest as if looking for a necklace and when she didn't find it she started crying.

Ninokar smiled, "Aw, poor things." he said, stroking his sons head.

Adain blinked as emotions spread through him, most he hadn't felt for a looooong time. Quickly he went to the women and pulled her close."Whats wrong?"

It took her a moment to get enough control to speak, "I-it's gone." she cried, "he... He finally did it... He got my locket."

Ninoko went back to Mikhail, hugging him and bitting her lip as she watched the woman cry in Adian's arms.

"WHat happened?" Adain asked, frowning and holding her close.

"Its his lifemate, love." He whispered.

"He...he stole my locket... the key to my kingdom." She cried into his shoulder, "He'll.... He'll take the thrown now."

Ninoko looked up at him, "She is?" she asked in a whisper, "How do you know?"

"Who will...? He asked. Adian, was ready to go kill the man that did this to her, that made her cry.

"I can see in his mind." He smiled.

"His name is Garin." the woman told him, she mostly had regained control. "He.. he's been after the thrown for years. Now he has it..." She bursted into tears again.

"I should have known." Ninoko smiled, kissing his chin then frowned a little bit, "But she's human."

Adain held her closer."Why dont we take you inside and let you get some rest, I'll help you get it back." He said softly to her, his voice soft and perfect- as always.

"I'm sorry." the woman said softly, sitting down on the bed.

"Maizah's probably awake anyway." Ninoko said, taking his hand and kissing his chin.

"I should have been more careful." She said, "I knew he would make another attempt at the throne."

they walked back to the house and into Maizah's room. She was awake and playing with Dragon. She squeeled a little when she saw them come in.

"Its not your fault, I'll help you get it back..." He said, kneeling infront of her and tilting her chin up a little so her gaze met his.

Mikhail grinned and picked her up."Hey baby."

She smiled a little bit, getting lost in his gaze. "Thank you." she whispered, "But it doesn't matter now. The people will probably be happier with him as king anyway." she looked away a little.

"Daddy." Maizah said, hugging him, Ninoko smiled, resting her chin on Mikhail's shoulder. Maizah giggled, "Mommy." she said, poking her mother's face.

"It's nice to meet you Adian I'm Princess Saria, Heir to the thrown of Orona." She said very properly, then her shoulders slumped, "Or I used to be."

He sighed."We'll get your honor back." He frowned.

Mikhail chuckeled softly.

"It doesn't matter really." She said softly, "Nobody wanted me to be queen anyway."

Ninoko kissed her baby's fingers, Maizah giggled, she tapped her lips with her finger, "Shh." she said, "Bothers."

"Oh? Why?" He asked."I would love, to have to take orders from you." He grinned.

Mikhail smiled."Are they sleeping, mommy?"

Saria blushed a little bit, "T-they say I'm cursed." she said softly.

Ninoko nodded, "Yup." she said, "They're always sleeping." Maizah giggled, shushing them again, "Natan Aaon."

"I... I see things... In my dreams, sometimes when I'm awake. Things that are going to happen in the future." she said quietly, "Most of the time, the things are bad. only once or twince have I had good visions. some I can't tell if they're good or bad. but everyone says I'm bad luck."

Maizah poked her father's face, "Daddy." she said.

He smiled more."Your phsycic. Its not bad, just visions to show something that will happen..."

"Tell that to my kingdom." Saria said softly, "I almost always see bad things and everyone says I'll ruin the kingdom."

"I see..." He frowned and stood up again."Well, for now, you need some rest..." He said and snapped his fingers so she was in pajamas.

She gasped, looking down at the pjs and then up at Adian, "H-how did you...?" she asked.

Maizah squeeled, pulling her fingers away.

He laughed softly and did it again.

She nodded a little bit, too tired to question farther. she slipped under the covers and closed her eyes.

Maizah squeeled, "No bit!" she giggled, putting her hands back to his mouth. Ninoko giggled.

Maizah saw him with the movie and squealed, clapping her hands, "Doggie!" she said, pointing to the dalmatians.

Ninoko smiled, "You want to watch it?" she asked Maizah. the baby nodded her head vigerously. "Doggie doggie!"

Mikhail smiled and then started to the living room, takinging Ninoko's hand.

Ninoko smiled and followed, Maizah giggling the whole way.

Mihail put the movie in and then sat down on the couch.

Ninoko sat beside him and snuggled close to him. Maizah crawled onto her father's lap.

Mikhail wrapped and arm around Ninoko and made sure Maizah didn't fall off as they watched the movie.

Maizah giggled as they watched the movie, sometimes naming things she knew and asking what things were. after a while she settled down and snuggled close to her father. Ninoko rested her head on Mikhail's shoulder. Halfway through the movie she fell asleep.

Saria began to shake in her sleep as a vision came to her.

Adain awoke and went to her side.

Saria stared shaking more violently, tossing slightly as the vision played in her head.

Adain frowned and held her down, whispering calming words to her.

The vision passed slowly and she stopped shaking. Once it was over she opened her eyes.

He looked at her."What did you see?"

Her cheeks turned bright red as she remembered what she had seen. "Um..." she said, looking away I little, "I saw myself...in bed... with you." she said, her face beat red with embarrassment.

"Oh, I see." He chuckled softly."Well... You are, my lifemate..."

She looked at him a little confused, "What does that mean?" she asked.

He sighed."Let me tell you everything..." HE said and took a deep breath. "Carpathians, a powerful and ancient race. They have many gifts, including the ability to shape-shift, move quickly unseen, control the weather, talk in the minds to one another/erase memories/mind control, and extended life spans, living over 1000 years. Though they feed on human blood, they don't kill their human prey, and for the most part live among them without detection. Despite their gifts, the Carpathians are on the edge of extinction. There have been few children born to them in the past few centuries, those that have been born are all male and often die in the first year. It has been more than 500 years since a female has been born. Without females, many of the males are turning, becoming vampires, the monsters of human legend. After 200 years, a male Carpathian loses the ability to feel emotions and see in color. These will only return to him when he finds his lifemate, the other half of his soul."

Saria blinked a little, "And... I'm you're lifemate?" she asked slowly.

He nodded slowly looking down at the bed quilt.

She traced the paterns in the fabric with her fingers, mauling all this infermation over. It wall a little bit weird for her. She decided to change the subject. "Where are we exactly?" she asked.

"My friend Mikhail house, mansion, what ever you want to call it." He replied.

"Oh," she said, "Is he the man that was with you when you found me?"

"Mhm, and the women was his wife Ninoko. His sister and her husband are staying here as well, also Ninoko and Mikhails new born daughter..."

"Aw," Saria smiled, "Where are we in the relm though?" she asked.

"What relm...? Were in the Carpathian moutians, in Europe, on Earth..."

"oh.... I'm really far from home then..." Saria said looking down at her hands.

"Oh, where is your home?" He asked softly.

"Orona, in the relm of Thain." Saria replied, "On the other side of the world." she was exagerating a little bit.

"I see." He sighed and poked her on the head."You hungry?"

She looked at him, a little bit surprised, "uh, yeah." she said, just now paying attention to her stomach. She didn't know when the last time she had eaten was.

"Aright.. Erm, sorry I have a poking problem." He laughed and got up, offering her a hand.

He threaded his fingers through his and lead her through the many halls to the kitchen.

Saria looked around her in awe, "This place is huge." she marveled.

"Mhm, so you have to stay with me, or you'll get lost.." He replied and smiled at her.

She smiled back at him, "Okay." she said, walking a little faster so she wasn't lagging behind.

He took her into the kitchen and opened the fridge."What would you like?"

"Um, what do you have?" Saria asked, she really didin't care. she'd probably eat anything at that moment.

"Anything really." He sighed.

"Umm, do you have chicken?" she asked, saying the first thing that popped into her head.

"For breakfast? Humans are odd..." He sighed."How about a chicken cheese and vegtable omlette?"

"That sounds good." She said smiling a little bit. "As long as it's edible i'll eat it."

He chuckled."Kay then." He replied as he started to cook.

She smiled a little more as she watched him cook. her most recent vision playing in the back of her mind. she looked down, blushing a little.

He smiled and put her plate in front of her, leaning over and whispering in her ear."It looks like fun." Adain had been reading ehr mind.

She looked around at him a little surprised then remembered what he'd said about them being able to read minds and blushed deeply.

He laughed softly and kissed the top of her nose."Sorry, couldn't help it."

Blue smilled and tickled Sarah, she giggled and hugged her teddy. Blue kised Ninokrs lips and look down at the littleones

Saria was surprised at first but what surprised her more then the kiss was that she liked it. She smiled at him and kissed his chin. "Couldn't help it." she said, starting to eat her eyes. her face stll slightly pink from the blush.

Ninokar kissed her back, then smiled down on their children. Corin had fallen back asleep.

Sarah was looking at them conused hugging her teddy, she smilled a little as she looked at her brother.
Blue giggled sofly and tickled her.

Ninokar smiled a little bit, more, kissing his son's head and then his daughter's. "You are too cute." he told Sarah.

she moved her hands in the air like saying "i know" Bluegiggled and kissed her head

Ninokar chuckled, tickling her gently, "And so modest." he teased.

sarah laught sofly and sticked her tongue out at Ninokar and looked like an angel at her mother, Blue laught sofly and kissed her head

Ninokar laughed, "Don't pretend to be inocent." he said, "We all know you have an evil streak in you." he said, tickling her.

"i wonder form where she got the evil streak " she said laughing giggling. Sarah laught sofly and hugged her teddy

Corin woke up and started crying a little bit. Ninokar picked his son up and rocked him gently until he quieted.

Bluelooked a little worried at Corin "whats wrong little guy?" she asked kissing his cheeck, Sarah looked at her brother

Corin sniffed, snuggling into his father's chest. "did you have another bad dream?" Ninokar asked, rubbing his son's back. The infant rubbed his face in his father's shirt and sniffed again.

Ninokar continued to rub Corin's back. The little boy sucked on his fist as he rested his head on his father's shoulder, looking at his mother.

Blue smilled a little at him and kissed his head robbing his check sofly,sarah was looking at her brother hugging her teddy

Corin didn't look at Sarah. He closed his eyes again, sighing as he clung to Ninokar's shoulder. Ninokar frowned, "Do you think he's sick?" he asked, still rubbing his son's back.

"Yeah" she wisphered kising his head, se put her hand on Corins head, she noticed he hand temperature "i think I should call the meddic" she said sitting up, "Look after sarah" she sad puting her downon the bed, and walking out the door sarah looked worried at her brother

Corin began to fuss and reach for something that wasn't there. Ninokar rocked him, rubbing his back, "It's okay little guy." he said, kissing his son's head as he kept one eye on Sarah.

sarah looked at corin and touched her brothers little hand with her hand. Blue walked back in the room with her grandmother "Sheis the medic" blue said smilling "Let me see the little guy" she said in a soft voice

Ninokar carefully passed Corin to his great grandmother and he fussed more, waving his arms around. Ninokar bit his lip, looking worridly at his son.

she touched corins head gently and kissed it,she toke his temperature and sighted "he has ht eflue, its not dangerouse, but he has to stay in house, to sleep alot and to take alot of medicine,ulualy injections, but I know some very good flower medcine that taists good and does very good."
Blue noded taking her on her lap, sarah looked up at her mother

Ninokar sighed a little bit, taking Corin back, "We'd better keep him away from Sarah." he said, "We don't want her getting sick too." Corin whined, snuggling into his father's shirt again.

"iam going to prepare some medicine for him" she said living
"Yeah" blue wisphered "I opeyou don`tmind spendng some time with uncle Alexander" Blue said to sarah, sarah looked at her brother and noded blue smiled "i amgoing to take her to alexander

Ninokar nodded, still rocking Corin. The little boy was crying into his father's shoulder.

Blue walked back in the room "My grandmother gaveme some medicine that will calm his temperature and make him feel better" she said sitting on the bed "how is her" she asked touching his head gently

"Still feverish." Ninokar said, "Still crying and still miserable." Corin cried a little more, grasping Ninokar's shirt in his tiny fists.

blue kissed his head sofly, she toke him gently from ninokar and gave him some sirop to drink, then kised his head

Saria was surprised at first but what surprised her more then the kiss was that she liked it. She smiled at him and kissed his chin. "Couldn't help it." she said, starting to eat her eyes. her face stll slightly pink from the blush.

Ninokar kissed her back, then smiled down on their children. Corin had fallen back asleep.

He chuckled softly and took a glass and poured some blood for himself, making a discusted face."How can he drink this..." He mumbled as he put it back in the fridge and sighed.

Corin calmed down a little bit, still whimpering slightly as he fell back asleep.

Saria looked up at him, "Something wrong?" she asked.

Sarah kissed his head and placed him gently on the bed, thne put a blacket on him "my poor little angel" she wisphered touching his cheeck gently

Ninokar put his arms around her, resting his chin on her chest. "He'll be alright." he whispered, kissing her ear.

she smilled a little and kissed his cheeck "I hope" she wisphered touching his head gently

"I promise, he'll be alright." Ninokar said, gazing down at his son.

she smiled and kissed hs cheeck looking down at hr son she sighted a little

"Poor baby." Ninokar said softly. Corin shifted in his sleep whimpering slightly.

"yeah" she wisphered "I hope sarah didn`t get the flue"

"So do I." Ninokar said, "We should probably let your sister's know that Corin is sick. one of the other children might have cought it or gave it to him."

"yeah "she wisphered "thats why i tols Alexander to put sarah away from the others till my grandmother checs to se i she is helthy"

Ninokar nodded a little bit, "good." he said, kissing her ear.

"Just the blood... Very gross..." He sighed and looked out the window, it was just becoming dark.

"oh.. This is really good." she said, meaning the omlet.

"Thanks." He smiled."I wouldn't know, I dont eat that stuff..." He shrugged.

"you can't eat human food?" she asked, pitty. she thought. It must be boring only being able to consume one thing.

"No, not really. There is always a differnet taste to it." He smiled.

She looked at him, almost wondering if she'd spoken aloud. then again remembered his mind powers and sighed a little bit. She kept forgetting that he could see her thoughts.

"No, it's alright." She said, "I just keep forgetting that you can do that."

"Alittle bit." Saria said, "Sometimes, when it's raining I can pick up on other peoples thoughts. But I don't like to, it hurts me."

"Are you disappointed?" Saria asked, looking at him through her eyelashes.

He shrugged."I'm glad your have powers like that. But, you know to be my life mate, well you already are but still... You would have to be Carpathian."

"Oh?" She asked, looking up at him properly, "Does that mean I have to become one? How would that happen?"

"Blood exchange, three times..." He said looking down.

She winced a little bit, "That doesn't sound so bad." she said, keeping any thoughts of fear tucked away.

"Its not, really. We have the powers to put humans, and other creatures, under trances, so they wont feel or remember anything..." He said.

"oh..." Saria said, she finished her food thoughtfully, "So you'll change me then?" she asked softly. She was a little afraid of the answer.

"Only if you want me to... But, you dont have to..." He said, looking down again. He knew she had to turn, or he would turn... Or have to find a way to die with her when she grows old.

Saria was silent for a moment, thinking. "What about Ninoko?" she asked, "She didn't look like you and Mikhail, is she a Capathrian too?"

"No, but shes not human either. Mikhail is going to change her soon..." He replied.

"Oh," She said again, still thinking, "What is she anyway?" she asked, trying to avoid the topic at hand.

"Um... I dont remember..." He blinked, those golden eyes of his on her.

"Oh." She said, for about the fifth time. she figited a little bit, "Um, could you show me around?" she asked. she wanted a chance to get to know him a little bit.

She smiled and took his hand, standing up.

He smiled and lead her around the huge house.

Saria looked around in awe, "This place is amazing." she said, "It's so big. and only five people live here?"

"No, seven... Soon nine... Ninoko is having more kids..."

"Oh, but I thought you said they had a new born." Saria said.

"Well, she aged fast... She looks like a todler." He laughed softly.

"Oh, I see." Saria said, she thought a little bit, counting on her fingers, "Who's the seventh person?" she asked.

Saria blinked a little bit. She hadn't thought about that. It wasn't like she had anywhere else to go, she couldn't go home. She nodded a little bit, "I don't have much of a choice." she said quietly.
