History: Hiro's past wasn't all the great. After a rainy day, he met Yukina, the day after her family's death. Even though she was hurting as much as he, she helped him by letting him vent on her, even though both were complete strangers to one other. In order to pay her back for her kindness towards someone like him, he decided to travel with her, protecting her from anyone and anything.
Reason for helping: Wants to make sure no one has to suffer a past like his.

Hiro sat in a nearby tree, watching.

Kari finished, and watched her friends, eyes hunted. She always felt guilty for them, for making them join her.

Ardin was watching Yukina, as he had a cruuuush.

Yukina cut off the heads of the dummies she used as targets. She stopped to rest.

"Tired?" Hiro asked, lifting an eyebrow.

"You can say that."

Yukina and Hiro blinked, looking in the direction of the forest.

"Did you hear that?" Yukina asked as Hiro jumped down from the tree, landing beside her.

"Yeah. Wonder what it was..." Hiro blinked his blue eyes.

"Me too."

Kari and Ardin went to join them. "Sounded like an explosion." Remarked Ardin.

Karu smacked him and pushed him into Hiro. "Thank you captain obvious."

Ardin stuck his tounge out. "Want to see whats going on?" He asked her and the rest of the group.

Kari sighed. "We just woke up is all. Those two, are, of course, still asleep. Just people don't normally say that in the middle of the woods.." She said.

"Hmm, so we are in the middle of the woods." Finds a tree to sit by.

KAri sighed.

Ardin made a face.

The other two sat down and took the oportunity to go back to sleep.

Kari went and sat next to her. "Who are you anyway?"

Powers: She can control people if she's touching them or some thing that's touching them, she can control shadows, she can summon blood beasts, call old blood, and set people's blood a fire.

History: Kyo was bored a lost child. She was born into the world alone and cold. And that's how she think's she'll die. What she doesn't know is that she never had parents. Blood Demons are just simple being creatated from a dead persons sworn oath. She is fullfilling an oath to help whenever possiable even though she is not exactly good...

Kyoko sat in a tree silently, stalking a shadow lord angrily. I'll kill it. Oh yeah. Watch his guts spill out. She thought in a rage.

KAri was going to respond, but Ardin took over.

"Camping of course. We're kinda-sorta trying to stop the war thts been goin gon if you yhaven't notice." He said.

"That sounds like fun." Says standing.

KAri and Ardin stared at her in shock.

"Ok." KAri said.

"Want to help?"

Ardin was falling asleep.

"Uhh..ok." Looks at rook on the ground. "But all I can really do is move things, is that ok?"

"Yep!" Kari said.

Ardin was asleep.

Looks at Kair, "Good, I was afraid you'd get mad."

[Elly]

"I can only levitate, heal and freeze- not much use for peace." She said, shrugging. "Dare I ask what you are?"

Lilly grins, "I am only a half vampire, and may I ask what you people are?"

[Elly]

"I'm a vampire, and the others are Demons." She said, shrugging. "OHowever, I don't drink blood unless i'm really drained. I just need energy."

"Kool, I only take a little at a time, don't want to harm anyone you know." Lilly looked at the people sleeping, "Do they always sleep at this time?"

[Elly]

"We traveled most of the night." Kari said, shrugging.

"I see." Lilly said jumping up into a tree. "So why are you awake?" Lilly looked down at Kair.

[Elly]

Kari shook. "Nightmares." She said. She kept them secret from the others.

"Nightmares..Eh? Your lucky." Lilly mad herself comfy in her tree.

Kari laughed harshly. "Yeah right."
She lay down on the log and stared at the sky, fiddling with the tip of her braid.

"Yes right, you at least have dreams! I rearaly ever do, and when I do, I can never seem to remember them." Lilly swiped a leaf that a squirril had made fall.

"Beter that than nightmares."

[japanese_freak_show]

"I would love to have a nightmare and be able to wake up in fear." Lilly sighed and dropped the leaf. "May I ask what it was about?"

[Elly]

"Its more like a memory of my family."

[japanese_freak_show]

"I see, did you like your family?" Lilly didn't want to ask, but it just sliped her thoughts. "You don't have to answer that!" She said hoping not to afend Kari.

[Elly]

kari nodded, then looked away. "Get some rest neighbor, i'll keep guard."

Lilly sat up, "Uhh...thanks, I am a little tired. But..." She began, then nodded. Laid down on her branch and went to sleep.

KAri lay on the log silently, the only awake person in camp.

Lilly falls of the branch, but is still asleep.

KAri jumped, and laughed quietly.

KAri sighed, and leaned on her elbows. She began to sing softly.

Lilly opens on of her eyes when a squirrle makes another leaf fall on her face. "Ahh, were under attack!" She screams tossing the leaf off her face. Then falls back to sleep.

KAri silently giggled, and began singing loudly, to get lilly to sleep.

Lilly starts to twitch, but stops when she hears someone singing.

[Elly]

Kari's voice played about like sunlight on a brook, bubbly and quick, changing like water. It was a song about a brook, an old wone.

Lilly instently fell asleep.

Kari kept watch, staring off into space dreamily.

Ardin rolled over in his sleep, muttering somthing about his dear, dear crush.

KAri smiled, she loved teasing him about it.

*Yutaka got up and couldnt get back to sleep, so he started wandering around**

KAri saw him. "Hello?" She called, pitching her voice to carry, but not wake her friends.

"Kari! Whyd on't you come sit?" She said, smiling and holding her hands up in peace.

"meh...I got nothing else to do..."

*he sat down*

KAri smiled sweetly at him. "Who are you, by the way?" she asked.

"Im Yutaka..."

[Elly]

"Nice to meet you. Why were you around here?" She asked, smiling.

"I was sleeping...in a tree..."

[Elly]

KAri smiled. "Why?"

Near them, Ardin made a 'i'm waking up' noise.

"I was tired..."

[Elly]

Kari gave up and smiled. "Cool."

Ardin sat up and blinked. "KAri, what in hell are you doing?" He asked, when he saw the wtranger.

Lilly opened her eyes. She didn't move, she wanted everyone to think she was still asleep.

KAri laughed. "Talking."

"With who?"

"Him."

"Why?"

"Whatever." Ardin looked at the stranger. "Hey."

"I'm Ardin. Who are you?"

Lilly closed her eyes and tried to fall back asleep.

Yukina had her head resting on Hiro's shoulder, sleeping soundly. Hiro was sleeping also, an angry scowl crossing his face...but that was normal.

Kari wandered over to them, put out with her 'gaurdian' enough she wanted to sit with them.

"I'm Ardin. Who are you?"

"Yutaka..."

Ardinheld out a hand to shake. "Ardin. Nice to meet you!" HE said, smilng. he clambered up on to the rotting log.

Lilly couldn't sleep, so she decided that it was time for her to wake up and join the living. "Morning!" She said streching on the ground, "Did we all have a good nap." She said sarcasticly.

Hiro grumbled something in his sleep and Yukina coughed.

Kari considered and poked them both.

Ardin laughed. "Nope!" HE said just as sarcastically.

KAri was ignoring him.

"This is Lilly."

"Stop it..." Hiro opened his blue eyes, glaring at Kari darkly.

"Woah...if looks could kill." Yukina opened her eyes and she looked at Hiro. "Soften up darling."

Hiro looked at her and sighed, his look changing. Yukina patted his head.

"There you go!" she giggled and looked at Kari. "What's up?"

Kari laughed. "Idiots!" She teased.

Lilly laughed and jumped into a near by tree.

Hiro was staring into space, still a little irratible(sp?) from being woken up.

Kari sighed. "Uhh... mebbe an hour..." She said.

"So, why were you around here?"

"That's....too.....long!" Yukina jumped up. "That's another hour of target practice for me then."

"Have fun." Hiro smirked at her.

"Shut up!" Yukina kicked him in the arm, making him chuckle.

Kari smacked her. "Nuh uh.. I wanted ya'll to get some sleep. You needed it!" She said. "Besides, it gave me some time alone for once."

Lilly heled back a laugh, ""What a bunch of characters."" She thought. "You guys are funny." She said.

"owie...did you have to smack me?" Yukina asked, giving her watery eyes. She looked over at Lilly. "We're funny?" she looked at Hiro. "Are we funny?"

Hiro shrugged.

Kari sighed.

"Yep" Called Ardin.

Kari levitated a leaf and thwacked his face with it.

Lilly laughed then fell backwards out of the tree. "OW!" She said rubing the back of her head. "Trees just don't like me."

Yukina started to laugh but caught herself. "I guess they don't."

A red headed figure jumped out of a tree right in front of the group. "Hey."

Yukina screamed and Hiro rolled his eyes. Ryo smiled. "Missed me?"

"YES!" Yukina tackled him.

KAri giggled. "Don't strangle him!"

Ardin came over to greet Ryo. "Hey dude."

"Hello, who b you?" Lilly asked smilling.

From the ground, Ryo looked up at Lilly. "I'm Ryo and you are?"

Ryo's eyes shifted over to Kari and Ardin. "Hey you two. Long time no see. Now Yukina, I missed you too and all but...........GET OFF!"

"Didn't have to yell." Yukina got up and stood by Hiro, smiling down at her friend.

[Elly]

Kari stood and smiled. "Ryo, Don't kill us all with your voice!" She said laughingly. She offered a hand to hiro after brushing herself off.

Ardin held up a hand for a high five with Ryo.

Lilly just laughed, "I'm Lilly, nice to meet you."

"Ohyeah!" Kari said, and went over to Yutaka and grabbed his hand, hauling him towards the group. "This is Yutaka guys." Seh said, pushing him in front of her a bit.

Ardin laughed. "Kari! Don't torture him like that!"

KAri rolled her eyes.

Ryo gave Ardin a high five and hugged Kari. "I missed you two."

Hiro had his arms crossed over his chest, mumbling something to Yukina. Yukina looked at him strangely and sighed.

"HEY THERE!" Yukina said to Yutaka

Kari laughed, hugged back, and went over to Hiro. "Why are you in such a bad mood?"

"I'm Ardin, as I said. This is Ryo, Yukina, and Hiro. Also, this is Lilly." Ardin said again, smiling friendlily at Yukota.

"Because I like being in a bad mood." Hiro said.

"He's pms-ing." Yukina rolled her eyes at Hiro and turned back to Ryo, both of them wrapping their arms around each other's shoulders.

[Elly]

Ardin felt a twinge of Jelosy watching her.

KAri laughed and hugged Hiro. "Lighten up!" She said, grinning at him as she stod with hands on hips.

Ardin was reminded irresistably of the first time he met her, and laughed.

"So how have you all been?" Ryo asked, looking at his friends.

"I've been okay. But you should know that." Yukina made a goofy face and Ryo smirked.

"I don't want to." Hiro looked away into space. "I've been the same Ryo."

[Elly]

Kari giggled. "We've all been good, but we missed you." She said.

Ardin grinned. "As our happy-minded leader says, its true.!" He said.

Kari laughed and hugged Hiro again. "C'mon, smiiiiiiiiile!" She said cheerfully, starting to tickle him.

"Yeah?" Said ardin, grinning. "We haven't seen him in a while, so you'll have to forgive us. "

Hiro gave her a look. "Stop tickling me."

"Gee, you're not a hyper person are ya?" Yukina asked Yutaka.

"Everyone can't be hyper like you dollface." Ryo pinched her cheek, earning him a slap on the hand.

"Then Cheer up." Kari said, stopping. "I don't like seeing my friends feeling down.." specially not people I want as more than friends... she thought to herself.

Ardin laughed, then turned back to yukato.

Lilly laughed and sat down by a new tree watching the happy little reunen.

Hiro leaned against a tree, staring down at the ground.

KAri sighed and went back to the group, feeling down.

"What's wrong Kari?!" Ryo looked at her when she walked up.

"Tell me! I got allllllll day. Until I have to go train again for an hour." Yukina smiled.

"I'm Fine." KAri lied, forcing a smile and glaring at A leaf. She levitated one and put it over Ardin's mouth when he started laughing. "I'm going on a nice walk. I'll be back in an hour." She said, then turned and went into the woods without another word.

When she left, Yukina looked over at Ryo worriedly. "Something's wrong with her. One of you go check on her."

"I'll do it!" Ryo moved from Yukina and disappeared.

"What did you do to her?" Yukina's eyes traveled sharply to Hiro.

Hiro lifted an eyebrow and shrugged.

Ardin got the leaf off his mouth. "You do realize she has a crush on you?" He asked Hiro.

Kari had walked a ways away, moving faster than normal She let her tears frlow, but kept herself from sobbing. She hated worrying her friends.

"Why?" Hiro gave him a look.

"Aw, you're lucky someone likes you Grump!" Yukina punched him in his arm.

Ryo followed Kari silently, not letting her know he was there.

Kari finally stopped and sat down, leaning on a tree. She let herself cry, finally, somthing she hadn't done in a while. She was terrified to let anybody know she had a crush, not knowing Ardin had figured it out. She was head over heels for Hiro, because he was sweet when he wanted to be.

"Because, hes sweet sometimes- and she thinks its cute, and she is just in love with him." Ardins aid, having read her diary.

[Snow_Angel_Kirei]

"Him?! SWEET?!" Yukina fell out laughing. "That's funny!"

Hiro was unfazed by it.

Ryo sat in a tree, listening to her cry. Should I comfort her? he thought about it.

Kari was beginning to get herself under control, sorta.

Ardin shrugged. "all I know is she loves him."

[Snow_Angel_Kirei]

"I don't see why." Hiro said in a cold voice.

"Come on Hiro! You can't blame her for loving you. I guess you can be lovable at times." Yukina was sitting on the ground, tapping her fans against her legs.

"You okay Kari?" Ryo asked softly.

[Elly]

"Its true, trust me." Said Ardin. "Shes been in love with you for ages."

KAri wiped her eyes and stood. "I'm fine Ryo." She said, smiling tremulously.

[Snow_Angel_Kirei]

"Wow....for aaaaaaageeeeeeeesssssss!" Yukina snickered.

"Shut up." Hiro looked at her, his usual glare not there.

"Not only will it make me happy, it'll make her happy too!" Yukina smiled.

KAri headed back, hoping Ryo would leave her alone. He was her friend, but he creeped her out occasionally.

Ardin smiled and streched. "I'm going on a walk before I spontaneously combust, i'm BORED!" He said, making a funny face.

Ryo appeared in between Hiro and Yukina. Yukina laughed at Ardin's face.

"Hey, did you check on Kari?"

"Yeah. She said she's okay." Ryo yawned.

[Elly]

Kari came in a moment later, looking like her usual self. "Hey!" Seh greeted them, grinning.

Ardin nudged Hiro. "I'm going to go hunting." he said, before wandering off.

Yukina and Ryo ran away from Kari and Hiro a little, crouching down behind some bushes.

"Okay! Hiro, you motivation is to talk to her. Go for it!" Yukina called from the bush.

"Action!" Ryo added.

Hiro looked at them strangely before sighing and looking over at Kari. "You look better. You okay?"

[Elly]

KAri haden't noticed the idiocy, haveing been getting her hair out of her face. "Yeah." She said. She wasn't lieing- she was better than earlier.

Ardin was watching with them.

"That's good. You looked upset when you left." Hiro leaned against the tree.

"Keep talkin'!" Yukina yelled and Ryo pulled her down, slapping a hand over her mouth.

"Shh!"

"mm mmmhmh hmhmh! (get you're hand off of me!)" Yukina glared at him angrily.

"Sorry dollface. Can't do that. Just be quiet and listen." Ryo smirked at her and looked back to Kari and Hiro.

Kari shrugged. "I'm fine now. Hey, you ok though? you've been awful moody today." She said, her constant concern for her friends shining through.

[Snow_Angel_Kirei]

Hiro nodded slightly. "I'm fine. If you haven't realized, I'm always moody."

"Cut! Scene!" Ryo jumped up, pulling Yukina with him. "That was beautiful!"

Yukina stomped on his foot and moved away. "Shut up Ryo. You ruining the moment."

Ardin smirked. Hiro and Kari coulden't hear because Ardin had a little trick he'd done to blcok the sound they were making.

Kari shrugged. "Youwere moodier than usual. Do I get to know WHY your always moody?"

"Ouch! Yukina that hurt!" Ryo glared heatedly at her.

"I know it did! That's why I did it!"

"Nope. No one can know." Hiro's eyes turned hard and he looked at the ground.

"Please?" KAri asked, touching his sholder. Her face was full of concern, and caring.

Ardin watched.

"No."

Hiro didn't like talking about why he was always so moody...it connected to his past, another thing he hated discussing, even with friends.

Kari did the only thing she could and hugged him. "alright. If you ever want to talk, I'm here, ok?" She asked, quirking her head to one side. Concern shone through her eyes.

"Uh huh."

"Time to go talk!" Yukina jumped up and down.

Ryo still glared at her, his foot throbbing.

[Elly]

Ardin dropped the shield when Kari wandered over to thier packs and started to rummage for somthing after hugging Hiro again. He headed off to hunt.

Kari was looking for her flute.

"You did good Hiro. I'm proud of you." Yukina said softly, walking over to him.

Hiro smirked and messed up her hair.

Ryo sat on the ground near them, his back leaning against the tree. He stared into space

KAru finally found it and pulled it out, polishing it and going to put it together as she walked over to Ryo. "Whats wrong?" She asked him.

"Yukina stomped on my foot and hasn't apologized yet." Ryo said.

"And I'm not going to." Yukina made a face, crossing her arms over her chest.

[Elly]

Kari giggled. "I'ms ure shes sorry somewhere inside." She said, patting Ryo on the head. She began to fiddle with the flute to get it straight.

Ardin was, omg, he was... hunting. Actually, he was coming back with two dead rabbits.

"I bet she is." Ryo said.

Yukina smiled and she patted Ryo's head also. "I'm sorry Red. Forgive me?"

Ryo looked up at his nick-name and nodded.

KAri smiled and started to play her flute.

Yukina and Hiro sat on the ground and the three of them-Hiro, Yukina and Ryo- all listened to Kari playing.

Kari ginished and smiled, opening her eeys.

"That was pretty!" Ryo and Yukina said.

[Elly]

Karu blushed and muttered somthing like a tahnks, getting up to put the flute away.

Ardin came in at that point. "Luuuunchtime!"

[Snow_Angel_Kirei]

Yukina looked and she gasped. "You killed two rabbits!?"

"Yum...." Ryo said.

[Elly]

"Actually, the river did."

KAri put it away and went over, standing next to Hiro.

[Snow_Angel_Kirei]

"Let's cook them." Ryo said.

Yukina twitched. "I'm going to train."

[Elly]

Kari grinned. "Can I come?" She asked as Ardin went to the fire.

[Snow_Angel_Kirei]

"Sure. Come on." Yukina ran into the forest, her fans lightly hitting her thighs as she ran.

Ryo and Hiro sat near the fire.

[Elly]

Kari followed quickly and silently, her staff held out.

Ardin began to cook. "Girls.."

Once in the forest, Yukina stretched and grabbed one of her fans, making it fan out. She threw it at a tree, watching it cut the tree deeply before returing back to her.

"What about them?" Ryo asked, lifting an eyebrow.

[Elly]

"One's crazy, ones mother teresa, and I'm in love with the first one!" Ardin said. Mother Teresa was his nickname for Kari, who hated killing without provocation.

Kari did a trick of her own, letting the blade in her staff slide out.

"Wait a minute!!!" Hiro actually spoke up. "You're in love with Yuki?!" 'Yuki' was Yukina's nick-name.

Ryo laughed. "Of all people, you choose to love Yukina. Why do you love her? Is it because she's preeeeetttty?" he laughed again.

"Nice blade." Yukina commented, tossing both her fans into the trees, causing them to fall to the ground.

[Elly]

"Thanks. Don't fell too many trees." Kari said, then began to fight an invisible oponet.

"Because shes so sweet and pretty and nice and crazy and herself." Mumbled Ardin, embarrased.

[Snow_Angel_Kirei]

"I won't!" Yukina said and continued to train.

Hiro and Ryo exchanged looks before looking at Ardin. A moment later, they laughed, falling over.

"Yukina? Sweet? You don't know her well enough!" Ryo said.

"She can be sweet when she wants too..." Hiro added, sitting up.

[Elly]

Ardin focused on cooking.

Kari continued to fence, but stopped and watched her friend, sheathing the blade. She was thinknig about a certain boy, though it wasn't obvious.

Yukina jumped into a tree, focusing her energy. Her fans began glowing in a bright light and they flew towards Kari. Before they hit her, Yukina stopped them and made them fly up. She was working on her control.

"Yukina's never sweet to me." Ryo crossed his arms over his chest. "Name one time she has been sweet. Both of you have to give a time."

Hiro looked down, eyes hard. When he looked up at Ryo, it was with a softer look. "When her family died....we met a day after and she helped me through some stuff."

Ryo blinked, never seeing Hiro's eyes like that. He looked at Ardin. "When has Yukina been sweet to you?"

[Elly]

"A while ago when KAri almost died, she lectured me enough te keep me from being an idiot and trying to die."

KAri didn't even blink.

[Snow_Angel_Kirei]

Ryo blinked. "This has to be a different Yukina we're talking about."

"Just because she doesn't act sweet all the time, it's those moments when she's really caring that counts." Hiro said icily, giving Ryo a look.

The light from her fans died down and Yukina fell out of the tree, landing hard on the ground. Controlling her powers always took a lot out of her.

Kari smiled and went over. "Need a hand?" She asked, holding out a hand.

Ardin grinned. "like you." He said pointedly to Hiro.

[Snow_Angel_Kirei]

Yukina took her hand and stood up, a little shakingly. "Thanks."

"Me? Sweet? Never." Hiro said.

"I agree with you on that." Ryo replied, smirking.

[Elly]

"You must be, or Kari wouldent like you."

KAri smiled. "Lets head back."

[Snow_Angel_Kirei]

"Hiro's not nice. Not a bit."

"He's right...I'm not nice."

Yukina smiled back. "Okay." she began heading back to where everyone else was.

[Elly]

They were soon there, and Kari placed a finger over ehr friends lips, wanting to scare the boys. She began to sneak, silent.

"she looo- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH" ardin said, yelling when Kari snuck up behind him and grabed him by the neck.

Kari fell over laughing, finding this hilarious.

Hiro and Ryo doubled over with laughter. Yukina wanted to laugh but didn't; too tired. She went over to where Hiro and Ryo sat, sitting between them.

Kari smiled when she saw where her friend was sitting and plopped down next to Ryo and Ardin.

Ardin took the food off the fire and divied them up.

"Eat." KAri ordered her firend, not that hungry, so she cut hers in half and placed one part in front of Yukina.

Yukina looked at Kari, giving her a look before sighing and eating.

"Hey, what's wrong Yuki? Tired?" Hiro looked over at her.

Yukina nodded and continued eating.

Ryo yawned.

[Elly]

Kari ate hers quietly, then got up, going to set up the tents like she always did. She was really hyper. "I'll take first whatch." She said quietly.

Ardin nodded.

The others nodded as well. After eating, Yukina had fallen asleep, her head resting on Hiro's shoulder. Ryo had also fallen asleep, his head resting on Yukina's leg. All three looked more like family than friends.

[Elly]

Ardin smiled, and fella sleep standing there.

Hiro was still wide awake, staring into space. He felt Yukina shift aganist him and he looked down at her. She had moved to lying in his lap, sleeping soundly. Ryo had also shifted in his sleep, head resting comfortably on her stomach. Hiro smirked slightly at his friends before going back to staring out into space.

Kari started singing a sleepy song as her friends slept. Ardin was laying on a log sound asleep. KAris song was the sort that made you want tosleep. Badly.

Hiro heard Kari singing and he looked over to her. His eyes hardened, but soften a moment after. He suddenly felt sleepy. He blinked, fighting to stay awake, but it didn't really help. He leaned against a tree behind him and his eyes closed as he drifted to sleep.

Ryo woke up a second later. He had always been known for only taking cat naps. He opened one eye to see that Yukina and Hiro were still sleeping soundly. A hard look was on Hiro's face meaning that even when he slept, he was on his guard. Yukina on the other hand, slept peacefully, a hand on her fan just in case and another under her head.

[Elly]

KAri stood up and went over to her friends, crouchingin the firelight to tend to the fire. Teh firelight made her look mor beautiful than usual, and she looked thoughtful and happy.

Ryo blinked, staring at her as he sat up. Woah....she's......wow... he thought watching Kari. A slight blush ran up his cheeks as he continued staring at her, not saying a word.

[Elly]

KAri was being cautious- her and fire didn't get along too well. She got it fed up againa nd stood, shaking her unruly hair back. She streched, then turned. "Hey Ryo" She said, smiling at him.

Ryo blinked, blushing more. "H-hey Kari." he cleared his throat to steady his voice. "Fed up with the fire?" a smirk came across his face.

[Elly]

"youknow me and fire don't get along to well." She said, rolling her eyes. "Why are you awake? You need to get some rest."

"I've gotten enough. You should know I only take cat naps."

[Elly]

"I know.. but I can hope!" Kari said, fluttering her eyelashes. She tought it made her slook silly.

Ryo blinked and lifted an eyebrow. "If you were hoping that fluttering your eyelashes made you look silly, I'm sorry to say sweetcakes, but it didn't."

[Elly]

"Then what does it do, make me look stupid? And who said I was anybody's sweetcakes?"

[Snow_Angel_Kirei]

"It actually makes you look aborable if you must know." Ryo avoided answering the other question.

[Elly]

Kari giggled. "Whatever you say." Shes aid, not believeing him. "want to keep whach with me?"

[Snow_Angel_Kirei]

"Sure." Ryo glanced at his two sleeping friends. "You think those two would wake up soon?" he tapped Yukina's leg.

On instinct, her fan whipped out and sailed towards him. Give a yelp, he dodged it and watched as Yukina grabbed it again, placing it back on her side.

"Talk about being on your guard."

[Elly]

"What with these times.." Kari said, ehr face falling and trailing off a bit.

"You okay?" He asked, noticing her look.

Kari shrugged. "I know we're in the middle of negotiations, we just have to talk to King Vampire. Its just that I want peace to be here already, so that I can settle down some, and live in a nice goat hut making music and teaching Bow." She said, then half grinned. "I'm crazy, arn't I?"

Lilly was planing to sneak-attack Kari and Ryo, but what she heard made her change her mind. ""Good plan."" She thought. That made her sit back and think what she would do in the futre. Lilly sat back and waited for something to pop into her mind.

"No, you're not crazy Kari." Ryo popped his arm. "Who doesn't want for this to be over?" he sighed. "Settling down sounds like a good idea...."

[Elly]

"Not until I've made peace though, even it I have to Gasha every other vampire we meet until we find one with a brain." Kari said sudenly, Gasha influenced with a savage tone. She occasionally used words in vampiric, but normally remembered not too.

Ryo sighed, staring at the sky.

[Elly]

Kari leaned back and looked up at the sky. The moon had risen, and it shone down on her. She began to sing the soft song she always sang the first time she saw the moon at night.

Ryo glanced over at Kari, listening to her singing. His eyes traveled back up to the sky, staring at the moon.

I remember the moon looking like this... he looked over at Hiro and Yuki before looking over at Kari and Ardin. The moon was like this when all of us met...

KAri was caught p in her song, eyes closed. She always looked like a pleased cat when she was singing the songs, though nobody knew why.

Ryo sighed again, thinking about that night...It's seems like it was such a long time ago...

[Elly]

Kari finished and sat in a comfortable silence, remembering as well.

She and Ardin had been walking on the way to the Demon king, and she had heard the fight they had been in. Poor ardin had ben forced to run to keep up with her as she ran towards it. The three had been attacked by a gang of demons. That was one of the few times Kari's heritage had taken over- so much blood had been spilled that she had to. She had actually turned the tide by going at the officer while Ardin applied his swird. Considering the officer had Roy in his grasp, and that KAri had literally knocked the guy out, it was a good thing they'd shown up. It had taken the others ages not to flinch when she bound up thier wounds though. She still felt glad that she ahd met them, because they had joined she and Ardin, helping them get to this point.

Ryo chuckled a memory, after Kari and Adrin had helped the three of them.

Hiro dragged Ryo over to where he and Yuki had been standing. She was messing with her bandages as usual, earning herself a tap on the head from Hiro, telling her to stop.

"You think we can trust these guys?" Yuki asked in a worried and quiet voice. "I mean, we don't know what they're motives are for helping us."

"Maybe they just wanted to help." Ryo looked over his shoulder. "Besides, they look nice."

"Looks can be deceiving." Hiro stated.

"The least we could do is help them. I mean, they did help us."

"Whatever." The two other demons stated in icy tones.

Even though that hadn't wanted to at first, Yuki and Hiro grew to like have two other people around; Ryo himself was already used to having Kari and Adrin around since they helped them. Now they were all one big happy fighting family.
