The sound of boots hitting the pavement echoed through the foggy streets as a guy made his way down it. He watched his feet, not what was infront of him. He sighed kinda depressed but looked around. He was bored, more so than usual. Maybe he could have a little fun tonight. Why not? He looked for maybe a place that it be less conspicous for him to go to on a foggy night like tonight

Nuno walked slowly though the streets, her kitten, Kona gently nibbling the top button of her blouse. She giggled and pet his head gently. He began purring and lightly kneading her stomach with his hind paws. She didn't notice where she was going and walked right into a man who was going the opposite way (That would be Edward).
"Oh! I-I-I-I am so sorry." She stammered, blushing.

Edward looked to her, raising a brow. "Seems I'm not the only lost in the fog." he said looking her over real quick then looking away again

Nuno forced a smile.
"I-I guess not..." She side stepped to allow the man passage, hopeing he would walk fast. Aside from not favoring company, he was a bit creepy.

He walked by, looking down at the cat. He looked ahead and smirked. She would be a perfect source for entertainment. He whstled lowly after he'd walked by and a big german shepard dog came running out of the alley way. Edward made a motion back towards where Nuno and her cat were and the dog went running that way

Nuno screamed and turned, running as fast as she could. Kona didn't understand what was happening and simply began nuzzling Nuno gently.

Edward smirked to himself as the dog followed untl he whistled. The dog hit the brakes and looked back confused

Nuno was crying softly. She spun around on her heel and glared at the man. "Thank's for helping!" She snarled viciously. That was a first.

Edward wasn't there. "Your welcome." he was standing infront of her

Nuno jumped back and tripped over the curb, falling onto the street.
"Ow!" She gasped. Kona hissed as his fur got wet in a puddle. Nuno grabbed her cat and held him close.

The dog caught on to what Edward's plan was and growled at Nuno staying behind her. "What's wrong with yo? Scared?" he ****ed his head

Nono glared at the man. "Yes!" She growled in a voice that made the dog's growl sound like a puppy's whimpers.

"Why? I haven't done anything yet. And neither has my dog. I'm insulted," He crossed his arms

Nuno blinked, then blushed. Her shyness and kindness won over. "I-I-I'm sorry. Your right." She looked at her feet and stood up.

"Now, could be a real jerk and say that won't do. But I know how you can prove you sencerity." the dog got closer behind her, not growlign loudly but was still growling slightly

Nuno looked up. "H-how?" She asked timidly, still clutching her kitten to her chest.

Edward lifted his hand infront of her face and snapped his figners. They were now inside a large mansion and the dog wandered off into the living area.

Nuno jumped again and looked around, clearly in shock and in a state of fear.
"Wha-" Was as she could manage.

"Welcome to my humble adobe," Edward said with a slight bow "I'm sure you'll enjoy your frightful stay," there was a tad bit of emphasis and sarcasim on the 'frightful' part

Nuno took one look at Edward and her surroundings. Seeing the door that would bring her out side, she turned towards it and ran, her coat and skirt flying behind her, along with her hair.

Edward sighed slightly. "That won't take you out of here. There are no doors that lead to a road or anything. That leads to a balcony over a dried out rocky legde," He turned facing the ay she was going

Nuno skidded to a halt and spun around. Tears of anger forming in her eyes. With out thinking, she rushed towards Edward and pounded her fists against his chest. Her blows were too weak to bring any pain at all.
"Let me out of here!" She sobbed. Kona had vanished towards a lit fire, and was drying his fur next to the large dog.

Edward didn't say anything just let her vent her anger. The dog shook his had and laid it down on his paws.

It wasn't long before her blows got, if possible, weaker. She eventually stopped, slumping onto the floor, admitting defeat.

"You done now?" He looked down at her. "It's not like I'm going to hurt you or anything. You keep making me mad, I might change my mind," he crossed his arms

Nuno whimpered and nodded.
"Wh-wh-why am I here?" she asked softly.

Edward crouched down to be eye level with her, "Because you are. Don't question what fate throws at you, just accept it." He stoodbak up and began to walk away, his trench coat pulling that anti-gravity thing

Nuno watched him walk away and as soon as he was out of sight jumped up and ran to the balconey. He was right. But maybe...

Nuno gulped as she looked down the ledge to the ground below. Adjusting the bag she had made for Kona out of her jacket, she turned around and lowered herself off the balconey, finding many foot holds along the way. It was hard work, but it would be worth it just to escape. Suddenly, she caught sight of Edward's dog watching her. He began to bark loudly. Nuno gasped and quickened her pace down the ledge.

Edward came out and looked over the ledge and two large wings spred off his back and he flew down to where she was. "Might I ask where you planned on going after getting down?" He asked, looking down, trying to see if the bottom was even visible, then back to her

Nuno muffled a scream and once again did something with out thinking. She swung her leg out and whacked Edward with surprising streagth in the stomach. Then she began rapidly decending, almost free falling at points where foot holds would have taken her time to find. Her skirt ruffled with the wind, her hair blocked her vision, but she was desperate.

Ed rubbed his forehead. "I was going to be nice." he said and swooped down ad pulled her off the side and took her back int the castle and dropped her on the ground before hitting th floor himself. "Now you've made me mad." he said

Nuno yelped when she hit the ground, and Kona struggled from the jacket to go find Edward's dog. Nuno whimpered and stared at Edward with large eyes filled with fear.

"Obviously you don't know what exactly I am. You mortals always have been negligent to observe what exactly it is you're up against," he said, flashing his fangs

It dawned on Nuno that the man infront of her was a vampire and gasped scrambling up against the wall, pressing her self against it as if she could just sink into the wood and be safe.

Ed walked over, towering over her, "Seeing you panic was what I was going to leave it at, but you did something you shouldn't and now we're both in a bit of a situation. I guess this is when you would say 'Thank you.'" he turned and went over to balcony doors and slammed them shut. "Somei!" Ed snapped and his dog bounded off the couch and ran past Nuno to a string and he pulled it. Ed went over to Nuno and offered a hand, "If you want to live, ou'll quit this childish behavior and for once listen to me."

Nuno's bottom lip quivered like she was going to cry but instead she slowly, as if not fully wanting to, placed her hand in Edward's. Her hand looked terribly small compaired to his.

He pulled her to her feet. A bang came outside and h looked to where it came from

Nuno jumped and hid behind Edward, scared.

His followed the sound of slaws scartching on the walls to the balcony doors. He pulled out two guns from his trench coat pockets. One was black and had Jesus Christ etched into it the other was white and had Lucifer etched in. Somei went back into the living area, knowing Ed had it covered.

Nuno whimpered and ran to Somei, staying as close as she dared, just incase he attacked, but also, incase something happened, he might protect her.

The doors burst open and didn't seem like anything was there at first but the deep growl that came from the opening proved otherwise

A white flash leapt into Nuno's arms as Kona, fur standing on end hid under her shirt, his fur brushing her stomach.

Ed was thrown back as the creature jumped onto him but Ed quickly repelled it by firing a few shots at it's head. The creature jumped up over the balcony door. It looked like nothing more than a shadow of something but it was quick. Ed got back u and snarled at the creature, his shoulder bleeding a bit from the creature bit him

Nuno's eyes were wide with fear as she watched the creature attack Edward. She began trembling and her face went compleatly white with fear.

Somei nudged her arm and looked up at her. Edward shot at the creature again and gsped as it tried to go to the living area where Nuno was. Ed ran over infront of him, ctaching it by the neck and grunted as he struggled to hold it. The creature bared it's fangs at Nuno as Ed tried to push it back

Nuno just stared at the creature. Then with out thinking, she stood and ran to the balconey. The creature broke free and leapt for her, but she spun around and it flew over the ledge into the darkness below. She closed the door and then ran to Edward.
"Your hurt!" She gasped, her female instincts kicking in.

"What were you thinking? That thing could've just ate you!" Ed gave her a look like she was crazy

"But it didn't and that's the-" She stopped and giggled. "Kona! It's safe, come out now." She said between giggles. Kona's small white head popped up under Nuno's chin and he mewed.

"You women always were a little-" Ed was cut off by Somei running between his legs and making him fall. Somei sat nxt to Nuno, tail wagging. "Traitor...." Ed muttered, laying on the floor

Nuno laughed and crawled behind Edward, pushing him in a sitting position while Kona exited to the floor. She ripped a bit of cloth from her skirt and wrapped his wound with it. "What was that thing?" She asked softly.

"I don't have a clue what it is but it's been there for awhile. When the ocean still flowed in here, it was always out." he said, then looked to her, a little confused of why she was doing that

"Kona, come here." Nuno removed the strip of cloth and motioned for Kona to jump onto Edward's shoulder. Kona bent his head and began licking the wound. "It may hurt, but it will clean it better than any thing else." Nuno explained softly.

"Why are you helping me?" Ed shooed Kona and the wound healed itself

Nuno sat beside Edward and shrugged. "Maternal Instincts." She said grinning. Kona had layed under Somei's chin and was playfully pawing the dog's muzzle, purring.

Somei snorted and put a paw on Kona's head. Ed stood up and grumbled to himself about the rip on his trench coat and took it off throwing it on the railing of the stairs

Kona playfully licked the paw that was now on his head and mewled. Nuno stood. "What were you going to say before that thing came?" She asked.

"I think I got it all out, but next time....don't do that!" he pointed toward the balcony meaning when she tried to climb down the side. "You made me panic! I may be a ampire but I don't like it, which leads to me not liking it when people get killed." He said and sat down on the couch popping his shoulder back into place

Nuno made a face and shrugged. "Okay." She said simply. After standing there for a moment, she spoke again. "I can fix your coat for you..." She offered slowly.

When Ed didn't answer, Somei barked at him making hm jump a tad. "What?" he had zoned out

Nuno giggled. "I said I can fix your coat." She said.

"I'll get it later." he shook his head and propped his feet up on the oataman

Nuno shrugged.
"Kay." She walked over and sat down beside Edward, yawning. "I'm ti-" Before she could finish, her body slumped over, her head landed on Edward's legs and she was asleep, breathing calmly

Ed went wide-eyed and turned a bit of a red color. Somei made a sound like a snort/laugh at him and got a pillow to the head

Kona mewed and crawled under Nuno's arm, purring gently.

Ed switched his head with a pillow and went into the foyer. He grabbed his coat and went into the room across the foyer. He sat on the bed grabbing a needle and began to sew up the holes. After he was done with that he pulled his shirt off and began fixing that

In the opposite room, Nuno was having a bad drea, thrashing around on the cushions, Kona long abandoning his spot for a less...moble area of the room. Nuno was crying out softly, her hands clawing at invisible foes.

Ed put the stuff on the bed, forgetting about not wearing a shirt and wntto see what was wrong

Nuno whimpered in fear, her face shimmering with sweat. Her eyes were closed and she was trembling.
"No. No. Not Isigal. Please." She muttered in her sleep a single tear running down her cheek.

"Hey!" Ed shook her slightly trying to awaken her

Nuno's eyes shot open and she fell from the couch, head swivling wildly. She was white as a sheet and trembling like a leaf in the wind.

Ed went around the couch and knelt beside her. "You okay?" he asked putting a hand on her shoulder

Nuno saw Edward's muscular chest and blushed, looking away and nodding.
"Uh huh. Just...just a bad dream, that's all." She stammered.

Edward looked to Somei who whined at him in expectance and Ed sighed. You want me to take you home?" he asked

[Teriqul]

"Home? I don't have a home." Nuno said, sitting back on the couch. "My parents kicked me out when I was 9 and I've been living in a shelter since."

Ed gasped, "Well, now I feel horrible...." he said rubbing the back of his neck

[Teriqul]

Nuno smiled. "No, it's okay. Really."

"Well, I have some other rooms here, if you want to stay in one of those." he offered

[Teriqul]

Nuno perked up instantly. "Really? Ohhh! Thank you!" She squealed, leaping up and throwing her arms around Edward's neck, hugging him tightly. She had to jump to reach his neck so they both toppled down onto the floor.

"Ag!" Ed said as she pratically tackled him. "Y-your welcome!" he said turning red again and blinking

Nuno nuzzled her head against his cheast, almost purring like her kitten. She giggled, grabbing Kona and hugging her tightly, making him choke almost.

Ed looked to Somei who got up and went upstairs. Ed shook his head standing up. "Follow me." he said and began going up the regal stairs

Nuno stood up, still holding Kona tightly as she followed Edward up the stairs.
"Hey...I just realized...I don't know your name..." She said suddenly.

"Edward. I sorta don't know yours either." He scratched the back of his neck as he led her upstairs and down the hallway. The candles lit themselves as they went by

"My name is Nuno Yobidashi, but you can call me Nuno." She giggled, eyes wide with awe as she watched the candles light themselves.

Ed nodded at her, "I'm pretty sure you know who Somei is by now." he said as his dog went running by him. Ed came to a nice white wooden door and opened it revealing a regal looking room fit for a queen.

"Wow," Nuno whispered, eyes wide, glittering with joy. A soft smile drifted upon her face, and her skin glowed a dim cream in the torch light.

"It was my sisters before she left." Ed said an saw Somei leaving the room with something in his mouth, but said nothing about it. "I think her stuff is still here if you wanna try something on." he shrugged

"You have a sister? Cool!" Nuno smiled, stepping in. "Oh...a bit dusty." She commented, sneezing softly.

"Oh, sorry." He said and tapped his knuckle on the wall. Smething furry quickly ran all over the room, dusting it then hid again

"Woah! What was that?" Nuno asked, giggling.

"Truthfully, I have no idea." he shook his head

Nuno giggled and flopped onto the bed. "Comfy." She commented, smiling.

"I'm gonna go back down stairs and finish my shirt, tell Somei if you need anything and one of us'll get it." he said ging downstairs and back o his room

"Thank you!" Nuno called after him. Then she squealed and threw Kona up and down happily. Kona sensed his owners excitement and ran around the room like the time he ate an entire bag of cat nip at once and got high.

'You're getting in over your head, Master Edward.' came a stern voice in Ed's mind. "Be quiet Somei. You started this whole mess." Ed said, pointing the needle at the german shepard
