Deep, brown-colored eyes warily looked about. Her eyes, one could say, had the strong brown color found on a tree's bark; yet also they had a soft texture many noticed first. (symbolic of her mask and hidden personality, see..^_^) Training with weapons like daggers and swords, also with her body, was her 'secret life.' This timid 15-year-old neko hardly knew what to expect from the overwhelming city! She knew some humans were going to like the idea of nekos coming in their city, but the scary part was she also knew some dark-hearted humans would not like this idea at all. Fate, or 'Amanda' as she liked to be called, was one to be hesitant about this idea. 'Maybe if I found someone that shares my secret life..' Nervously she rubs, though gently so, her fair-skinned arm with her soft fingertips, and she thought, 'Well I could wear a hat and dye my hair and look what these humans call 'normal'!'. With a small, slowly-breathed sigh Amanda knew that it would be killing her deep down knowing she could never fit in. 'Will they..'accept' me?' She pondered on this lonely thought, her brown eyes gently cast down on the sidewalk. Soon she became lost in her thoughts of worry so that she might run into someone without actually realizing she'd done so. Her face was a scene of solitude as she continued to wander the city..

Partly gloved hands rested on the back of a neko's neck, his fingers rolled the silver chain holding a small silver cross. His green eyes shined brightly like an emerald. They stood out against his pale skin and rebellious grey hair. His face had the expression of being happily indifferent, the sides of his mouth curved into a charming smile. He was just happy being here, with people. The ultimate torture for him would be isolated from any kind of living thing. Brandon didn't really care if he was going to be accepted or not.. His bright green eyes shimmered, they excitedly darted about as his smile held.

Amanda half-screamed, and, to her dismay, it sounded like a cat's surprised yelp. -_-' She got tackled/glomped on the ground. When she finally came to and realized what had happened, by the time she stood up and whirled around, she found a girl tackling a neko boy that had his hands behind his head. She twitched, and felt her knees buckle, her heart beating fast. 'Wha-what was..THAT about..!' She thought, feeling frozen she didn't move.

Brandon blinked, surprised. "Well Hi!" He said and laughed, his grey, feline ears twitched as he laughed. "Is this how you greet people here or something?" He asked and grinned staring at this human girl.

She walked on and saw a group of people- of humans and nekos. Amanda blinked and just stared. 'I..I don't think it'll be a problem being here..Every neko seems to not be having trouble with humans anyway..'
