There was a magic that night,attop my dresser,where my diary laid.A flash and it was gone,a new book layed there,one whethered and old,a boys name written across it.A ran my fingers over it,with scarred hands.I begun to read what he wrote,i knew right then,I had to find him...A twist,they all live in the same city and don't even know it.
~This is a story about teens,distressed,homeless,sad,happy,any kind.One night all their diaries get switched,as they read eachother's stories they know what they have to do.They have to meet these people....~

Dark sat there,he had just set his diary atop his shelf,as it flashed bright.

"Wha-!"exclaimed Dark,as his brown,leather,diary started to disinegrate before his very eyes.He went to grab it,but something singed him,he yelped and pulled back.

Tears rolled down Victoria's cheeks, making her black eyeliner run. She was curled up on her bed, her pajama tank top torn and hanging off her shoulder, exposing her pale skin. Her mother wasn't home, she was off 'working', and her mother's boyfriend, Kris was sitting downstairs, drinking a beer. Or thats what Victoria assumed. Thats normally what he did after he did this to her. She was shaking too much to write in her diary, but a flash made her look up, and it was glowng.

Amane's father left the house that night. She stalked into her room, the corners of her lips stained with blood. She was about to grab her diary from her dresser, when all of a sudden a white glow eminated from it's sides. It began to disintegrate, first the cover, then it's smooth marked pages.

Amane picked up the strange diary. She felt its smooth cover.
This definitely isn't mine. Mine has my name written in gold cursive writing, this..this is a boy's name...but..how? she asked herself as she read its scribbled pages.

Victoria remained where she was, stairing at the diary. It wasn't hers. Hers was leather and black and had her name in scarlet letters. Shakily, she got to her feet, and picked up the book. It deffinitally was not hers. She flipped it open, and the word "Dark" was scribbled on the inside cover.

Her scarred fingers flipped through the diary's pages once again. The words seemed to leap out of the pages, encircling her with thoughts and emotions.

The handwriting was still scribaly. It happened again last night. Whore Mother was off 'working' her regular corner, and ... that ... thing, Kris came into my room again.

Victoria nodded slowly. "Same thing happened." She lead the way down the block a little more, where it was a little quieter, but still public; she didn't trust males, especially ones she didn't know. Even if she did know him, per say.

She sat on the bench next to the building, and put her bag in her lap, and looked down at her long, pale fingers.

"There was this weird thing, and it was just....here." she said, as she slowly pulled his diary out of her bag.

After taking a deep breath and shaking her long onyx hair out of her kohl rimmed silver eyes, she said in a soft voice, "I...I read some of yours too..." She turned her eyes up to him, adding, "I'm so sorry."
