He turned his head sideways to gaze at the empty hallway, but was surprised to not see his cousin Silas flung across the black leather couch.

"Geez...what is he up to now...?" He muttered and shook his head. Leave it to his younger cousin to be a traoublemaker.

Then again... Aiden felt the corners of his lips twitching. I'm the one who taught him to be quite the rebel...

He plopped himself on the couch, dazed.

Aiden slipped through the hallway and raised an eyebrow once he saw the peculiar expression of a lazy grin Silas had curved on his lips.

"What's up with you?" Aiden leaned against the wall, fighting not to chuckle.

Silas turned slowly with curious eyes. "Nothing. Why?"

"It looks like you just won a new bike."

Silas grinned and propped himself on his elbow. "No. Not a new bike. And I didn't win anything...,"

Aiden studied him.

"...I just...kinda...saw a girl. A rebel. Like me."

Aiden rolled his eyes, and proceeded to the kitchen. "Kiss your chances at getting a girlfriend goodbye. You know how our family is...we can only marry daughters of CEO's, etc. Your parentsn shuddered, "Are monsters. You know that..."

Silas sneered, but murmured nonetheless. "I hope I get to see her again though..."

Aiden furrowed his eyebrow. "Silas, what the hell are you doing?" Silas halfway turned and smirked.

"Helping out someone in need."

Aiden sighed and noticed the keys were still in the ignition on Silas's bike. He parked his own bike first, and then did the same for Silas's.

He caught up with Silas and noticed him already talking to an officer.

"Silas." the police officer said, exasperated. "I don't have time for this...your father might have my neck for even talking to you..." The officer flinched and looked around nervously.

"C'mon, just let her go already. She didn't break any laws..." Silas crossed his arms and stared intently to Jessica.

The police officer fumbled with his fingers and adjusted his uniform.

'Brilliant.' Aiden thought sarcastically. 'Leave it to Silas to leave the police speechless.'

"F-fine..." The officer stepped into his car, and silently glared at Silas, muttering something under his breath.

Silas laughed and mocked crying. "Go ahead and mutter old man! you think that I don't hear you?"

The officer drove off, and Aiden just shook his head.

Silas turned back to Jessica. "You alright?"

He froze.

Silas stiffened. "Sh*t..." He cursed under his breath. Aiden was right. The paparazzi was there.

"Come on..." Silas grabbed Jessica's hand, leading her out. Aiden was already doing the same.

"Jessica, I have a bit of a confession. My family--Both Aiden's and mine--are pretty much famous." he grimaced, hating that fact.

"I ran away with Aiden, but surely, my family found us. I'll explain more, but later..." Silas trailed off sighing.

Aiden picked Amy up and perched her infront of him on his bike. He took out the keys in a flash, and in half a second, they were off.

"Oh...?" Silas replied, intrigued. "Don't worry. You have me," He blushed, realizing his words. "And um, Aiden too!" He quickly added.

He saw a black and maroon flash speed by them. Grinning, he took Jessica's waist. "Don't kill me for this, but I'm a demon," He smiled apogetically. "I apparate to my closest goal--the motorcycle." He whispered and they soon sat on his rumbling metallic black motorcycle in a mist of silver smoke. "We need to catch up..." He noted, sighing.

With a roar, the bike sped off into the night.

Aiden swerved and dodged the traffic, making sure to get out of the paparazzi's eyes--and camaras.

"Damn it," Aiden narrowed his eyes in annoyance. "Close your eyes, Amy."

He switched a key on his bike--Silas had it too, only a little faster. Immediately blue flame shot out and the bike ran on turbo.

The mob had disappeared and next thing he knew, he was infront of the apartment building.

Silas was already there, grinning widely with Jessica at his side.

Silas couldn't help it. Already sensing that Aiden was about to turn on the turbo, he focused on his energy and transmitted it to the wheels. Him and Jessica were there in a matter of seconds. Humming softely in contentment, he picked Jessica off of the bike and set her down. "Now here they come...right about...now." He leaned against a wall, grinning.

Amy closed her eyes and her hair flew around in her face. She saw flashes of lights and groaned. "Damn people..." she murmured.

Aiden stobbed turned off the motorcycle and stepped off. Shyly, he offered Amy a hand to get off the motorcycle.

Silas noticed this. "Aww," He cooed, laughing. then he whispered to Jessica. "You know, now that I think about it...I've never seen this side of Aiden before..."

Amy smiled and took his hand.

"I've never seen Amy this way either." Jessica whispered back. Then giggled.

Being interrupted, Aiden snapped his head in realization that Silas and Jessica were there. "Umm..." He sighed, and simply picked Amy off of the motorcycle. Setting her on the ground, he turned to Silas, fully annoyed.

"Shove it."

"Make me." Silas grinned.

Aiden growled. Both of them stared eachother down, although Silas was chuckling slightly. Then, all of a sudden--

"SIIILAAAASSS!!! AIIIDEEEN!!!!!!!!!!!" A high voice chirped through the door of the apartment. There stood an elegant looking girl, around the same age as Silas, only a blond, bouncy versio of him.

Seconds ticked by.

"SHIIIIIIIIIT!!" Both of them groaned in unison. If THAT girl was here, then...

"AH!!!!!! SIIILAS! AIIIDEN!!!♥" Anopther girl, this time a red-hed, approached them with the blonde one.

Silas and Aiden backed away desperately clucthing Amy and Jessica close to them.

"Let's go back to the paparazzi...anything is better than Allison and Samantha..." The both said together.

"Nuh-uh-uhhh!!!" They grabbed Aiden and Silas, along with Amy and Jessica, and took them to the apartment.

Amy looked confused and Jessica looked down,

"Who are they?" Amy asked.

Aiden flinched at the hysterical giggles the two girls, Allison and Samantha, made.

"--Nothing to us," Silas interrupted coldly. He looked towards Jessica in concern and tentavily touched her hand in concern.

Allison, the blond one, pouted and huffed. Samantha rolled her eyes.

Aiden sighed, and turned to Amy. "They're our supposed 'soon-to-be-wives." Aiden scowled. "It was arranged...by them, their families, and of course, Silas' and my family.

"Like we give a DAMN what they say!" Silas roared and the room was silenced for a long minute.

Aiden broke the silence. "It's against our will..."

Aillison brushed her hand through her hair. "But I'm getting married to Silas..." She whined, pouting again.

Silas growled.

Samantha smiled sweetly, looking at Aiden. "I haven't seen you in...forever." She looked at him appreciatively.

Aiden flinched.

"Jess, maybe we should...leave..." Amy said putting a hand on her sisters shoulder.

Jessica let go of Silas's hand and nodded to her sister. "Sorry about leaving the house without telling you." she said and stepped forward.

"No!" Silas leaped in front of the door. "That's what they WANT you to do..." He said helplessly, staring at them.

Aiden shifted uncomfortably. "Did my family send you here?" He said it in a dangerous tone. Allison and Samantha nodded, gulping.

They scurried out of the door, past Silas. They were gone.

Aiden turned slowly, emotionless. "I'm sorry about that..." He explained. Silas had a pained expression.

"They find out where we live, and eventually stalk us. It's unnerving. The worst thing is that our family loves it..."

"Damnit Silas!" He hissed "You know what they'll do to you! Your father is the head Demon! My father is the head Vampire!!" He clutched him close. "We made a pact with them. As long as we don't fall in love, mate, or whatever with human girls, we can stay untortured...All of those years Silas,"

He paled, shuddering. Silas did the same.

"All of those years...those years worse than death in there..." Silas slumped over. "We don't necessarily HAVE to 'wed' Samantha and Allison...but we can't be with Jessica and...and..." Amy.

Aiden sighed, letting go of Silas, who layed on the floor motionless.

"Hey you and your sister have a band named Chaos Forever right?" the person asked Amy could tell it was a guys voice.

"Can you play at Club Zero tonight? We need a live band and you guys could be perfect for the job." he asked.

"Oh, um sure. We have nothing else to do. So yes. We'll do it." she said

"Thanks. Be at the club by 8:30 tonight." he said and then hung up.

"Hey Jess?" Amy asked.

"Yeah?" said Jessica putting her head up.

"Ready for our first gig?" Amy asked with a grin.

"You got one?! Where?!" she asked and looked amazed.

"Club Zero. Tonight. At 8:30." Amy answered with a smile that appeared on her face.

Jessica looked at her sister sadly when they got home.

Rolling his eyes Silas smirked and strolled off into the night with Aiden nearby.

After a little while of practice Jessica walked up to Amy and said,

"Can I ask you something?"

"Do you think Silas and Aiden will marry those two?" she asked looking down.

"They said they have too. Come on. It'll be okay. Trust me..." Amy asked putting her hand gently on her sisters shoulder to try and make her feal better.

"Yeah..." she said and hugged Amy.

Amy hugged her back and they both smiled a little.

"I want to see Jessica..." He trailed off, half-pouting. Aiden rolled his eyes.

"Thankfully, we will not have to be force to marry those horrid she-monsters known as Samantha and Allison," Aiden stretched. "But I doubt the two human girls are meant for us."

He didn't care. He wanted to see her...

Aiden sighed. 'Okay,' He admitted to himself. 'I want to see Amy too...'

"Sure...Silas?" Aiden turned to his barely younger cousin in question.

Silas examined the trees playing with the wind--anything to remind him of something else other than Jessica's sadness.

"...Fine," He said finally, barely breathing. "Don't count on me to stay for a while though."

Aiden shrugged. "Just as long as you don't get into too much trouble."

He turned toward Amy. "Do you want to walk, or we'll meet you there?"

Silas stood under the shower, letting the water run through his dark hair.

He hated this. Feeling the guilt, the pain, the dread.

Aiden dressed himself casually in all black with a maroon chain that hung loose on the side of his pants. He glanced at his wristwatch.

8:22 P.M.

Silas had better not be too late.

Amy and Jessica got to the concert at Club Zero just in time on there bikes.

"Come on Jess. Let's do our best..." said Amy opening up the back door.

"Right. Who was the man that you said got us a gi-" she was cut off before she could say anything else. She froze. A man all in black grabbed them and Amy tried to let go.

"It was a trick!" Amy shouted trying to get loose.

"God damn it!' said Jessica and she couldn't get loose.

"Let go of us!" Amy demanded as the guy put a gun to her chin. What did he want with them? Club Zero was completely deserted.

Aiden reached the club, but stopped and frozed.

A man grabbed Amy and Jessica, in the deserted club, pointing a gun roughly to Amy.

He growled, knowing fully well, that a vampire like himself would be killed or hurt by a gun.

He stepped out, smirking coldly, staring at the man with blank pale violet eyes.

Jessica closed her eyes and couldn't get lose.

"Aiden!" Amy shouted glaring down at the gun and she was scared.

"I'll shoot her." said the man.

"Don't!" Jessica said starting to cry.

"Shut up!" said the man pointing at Jessica.

Aiden growled but stayed in place, afraid that Amy would get shot.

"How about we settle this between us...?" He offered, still emotionless despite the panic that over washed him when he saw the frightened expression on Amy's face. Thankfully, Jessica was somewhat safer.

"If it's money you want, I'll give you anything you ask for. Just let them go, and you have my word..."

Jessica looked tword Silas and looked down still crying.

The man shot the gun away from the girls and the bullet shattered the window. Jessica turned her head away to the side and he pointed the gun to her head and she gasped.

"Jessica! Jack ass you hurt my sister and I'll kick your ass!" said Amy getting mad and punched the man in the gut but still held onto the girls tightly. He didn't reply to Aiden's question.

Jessica tried not to speek. Then she said, "Don't hurt us..." she said softly and sniffed.

Silas roared, shaking the whole club with an intensity that only few could endure.

"Get you FILTHY hands off her." He said hissing, dangerously low and lethal. He grabbed the man and knocked the gun away from the man's grasp.

He took one hand on the man's throat, choking him, and lifting him up high above the ground with only one hand.

Aiden quickly gathered the girls and covered both of them protectively.

The man started to gasp for air, trying to unlock Silas' steel grasp around his neck with no avail.

"Why the hell are you after them?" He said, calmly.

Aiden shuddered. This was not good.

He had never seen Silas so pissed before.

"You'll find out soon." said the man and he dissapeared.

"Silas..." said Jessica looking at Silas afraid.

"Thanks Aiden." Amy said smiling a little. "Who was that man?" she thought looking at her sister who was terrifide.

Jessica walked up to Silas and said, "I-I'm sorry..." she said softly.

Aiden shook his head slowly, wondering who would have something against Amy and Jessica. "I have no idea..."

Silas clutched his fists when he realized what he had done in front of Jessica.

The man had disappeared. That thought irritated him to no end.

"No, Jessica," He said, looking to her with intense golden eyes. "I'm the one who should be apoplogizing. I acted stubborn," He shrugged. "and I also acted like the thing I am right now...a demon."

He turned to her.

"Forgive me."

She gave him a hug and some more tears went down her eyes,

"I don't care what you are. You saved us." she said "You shouldn't be sorry." she added and looked up at him.

Amy was suprized, "This is strange... Why would that man come after us anyway?" she thought with that one question asking herself over and over again but couldn't find the right answere.

Silas held her softely, hesitantly, hoping not to frighten her. When she hugged him, he felt something born. Her quivering body, so warm, holding close...at that moment, he felt he wanted to protect her at all costs.

It almost frightened him. And yet, there he was, hugging her back tenderly, lifting her face to his, and wiping away her tears.

Aiden seemed to stop breathing. Silas was suddenly...different.

He couldn't quite place it.

"I've never...seen him like this," He admitted to Amy, astonished. "He never showed concern for anyone before. Not like this."

He smiled crookedly. "It's too bad he fell inlove before me. He doesn't even realize it yet."

He looked back at Amy.

'Then again...' He gulped nervously. 'I don't know my emotions either...'

Jessica sniffed and hugged him gently. "Silas..." she said softly and she put her head on his chest.

"I've never seen Jessica like this in my intire life..." Amy said and turned her head to Aiden. "You okay?" she asked.

Silas smiled and held her tightly one last time before he held her hand to lead her towards her sister.

"I have to take you home," He whispered, brushing some loose strands of her soft hair out of her face. "I think it's kinda lste, don't you?" He asked playfully winking at her.

Aiden glanced at Amy. "Yes, I'm fine..." He mumbled, hoping he wasn't too crimson.

Clearing his throat, he sobered. "Silas is right. We'll take both of you home, just in case." He grinned and offered her his arm. "Shall we?"

Amy took his arm and smiled, "Yes." she said

Jessica managed a smile at Silas and said, "You're right..."

Silas held her closely, remembering her house.
"Okay," He murmured, closing his eyes. "We're going to apparate, alright? Just don't get frightened..."

Aiden smiled. "Hope you don't mind." He replied impishly to Amy. And with that, he disappeared with a whirling rush, to the girls' front porch.

Silas was already there with Jessica.

Jessica let go of Silas slowly. "Thank you Silas..." she said and went to the door.

"Thanks Aiden." said Amy and stepped in front of him and she opened the door for Jessica. She nodded her head and they said 'Good Night' to the both of them.

They went inside and went up to there rooms. Jessica looked at the clock 10:48 PM. She turned around away from the clock, and closed her eyes.

Amy was already asleep. It took a little while for Jessica to fall asleep but she did. They both drifted into a nice sleep until the next morning.

Aiden and Silas walked off to their house, needing the fresh breeze to gather their thoughts.

"So...any idea on what we're going to do?" Aiden asked curiously to Silas.

Silas shrugged. "No clue." He replied. "All we can do is protect Jessica and Amy. That's enough for now atleast."

Aiden nodded. "It seems that way..."

They continued walking untill they reached their house, changed clothes, and fell asleep untill the next morning.

The next morning the sisters woke up and had breakfast at the cafe. They both had a little coffee and a little bit of something else.

Silas grumbled as he rolled over in bed. "Too...erly.." He muttered, throwing the blanket over him.

Aiden grinned as he turned on the amplifier and played a LOUD tune in Silas's room.

Silas snarled and pounced out of bed on a maniacally laughing Aiden.

Jessica and Amy left the cafe and walked around town. Amy sighed. Jessica just walked beside Amy.

Silas stood up after wrestling with an amused Aiden.

"I'm going to go out," Silas muttered to Aiden. "Don't wait up for me."

Aiden shrugged, putting his coat on. "I have to go to the guitar shop anyway," He grinned, opening the door. "I'll catch you later."

They got on each of their motorcycles and took off.

Amy and Jessica both started to sing "I'm Not Dead" by Pink together. Outloud, but they didn't care.

The next morning when Amy and Jessica woke up they went down stairs all dressed and they ate breakfast together.

Silas played his guitar untill his fingers ached, but not even that stopped him. The crowd was screaming, calling his name...

He smirked as he did his solo, playing a hauntimg tune that mad eeveryone scream and try to reach out to him.

Aiden smiled as he played the bass, feeling the stage tremble at every melody he played along with Silas.

The day just got better and better...

Jessica and Amy heared the music and saw Aiden and Silas playing. They both smiled and listened out in the far back.

Silas moved up to the mic, and sang along with the tune he played. Aiden slightly grinned and joined in as the chorus voice.

The crowd screamed and swayed to the rythm. With all of them dancing, Silas and Aiden enjoyed playing for them, along with themselves.

Jessica smiled brightly and so did Amy.

"Wow..." Jessica thought listening to Silas sing.

Silas and Aiden settled for thew last song of the evening.

Each of them had written it, thinking of two people in particular.

Silas sang softely and smiled, picturing the only person he knew that made him feel different.

He closed his eyes, thrumming the guitar gently, and made a beautiful lullably-like song as he thought of her...

Aiden followed suit, singing his own parts, this time the two voices evenly matched. The song was breathtaking, and the audience swooned.

Aiden thought of Amy, and Silas thought of Jessica.

Jessica walked up a little up in front but it was way to crowed so she stayed in back. Amy was right next to Jessica.

Jessica also thought of Silas.

Amy thought of Aiden.

Silas opened his eyes, once the lullably song ended, and he smiled still thinking about her...

Aiden opened his eyes as well, only this time, he blinked in surprise. He nudged Silas, who turned to look.

There in the crowd...

"Jessica...?" He breathed.

"Amy." Aiden grinned impishly.

"Silas..." Jessica murmured blushing suddenly and she smiled at him.

"Aiden." Amy said softly smiling as well.

Silas winked palyfully, and motioned her to go backstage.

Aiden smiled back and did the same as Silas.

Jessica giggled and Amy nodded her head. They both quickly went backstage.

Silas and Aiden packed up their guitars and headed backstage.

Smiling, they met up with Amy and Jessica.

Silas let his guitar case down on the spacious couch with a loud 'thud', and crossed to room the hug Jessica.

Aiden simply went up to Amy and kissed her cheek, longer than necessary. "So," he asked playfully. "Anything new?"

Jessica smiled and wrapped her arms around Silas's waist and she said, "Hi. You guys were great."

"Nothing really. We were just walking around town." Amy said and also kissed his cheak and smiled after.

Silas grinned. "Thanks We'd like to see you guys preform to you know!" He pouted playfully and laughed, still holding her. He put his chin on top of her head.

"Really? Doesn't sound too exciting," He said teasingly, and hugged her softely. "I heard you guys have a band too though..."

Jessica smiled, "It's been hard for us to find some place to play..." Jessica excplained with a sigh.

"But if you'd guys like you can here us play sometime when we don't have a concert or something." Amy said also grinning.

"Hm...sure!" Amy answered standing a little closer to Aiden and laughed a little. "Come on let's get to our house." she said to Jessica and she took Aiden's hand and they went to Jessica's and Amy's house.
