The story:
Normal kids with some special skills have been chosen by a lab to become experiments. Their DNA will be mixed and they will be...sold...!? As if they were house pets. And to make things worse, if they defy their 'masters' they will turn into an animal and as animals they are extremly weak. This causes them to get sick everytime they turn into animals. If they get too sick they may just die. I suppose you're thinking: Won't the be missed? Answer: No, all memories of these children will be erased. It will be as if they never existed. Except they are all friends and will all be owned by one man. However, they never see each other.

Age: 17

Animal DNA: Black panther

Special Skill: Echo is a lot stronger than she looks. Most people write her off as weak because of her shape, but her animal DNA makes enhances her strength. She also has incredible hearing, sight, and sence of smell (as most animals do).

She can sence when danger is near, and, because of her religious beliefs, knows a few protection spells. Many people do not believe they work, but she does, they have helped her many times.

Personality: Can be mysterious, secerative, territoral, preditory, sarcastic, yet also very flirty, outgoing, if you get to know her, she's very protective.

Animal Looks: When Echo is a panther, she is a lean, muscular, slinky large cat. Her black fur glistenes, even in the palest light.

Her eyes are big and silver, her teeth long and sharp.

One trait of her human form transfers over to her panther form...her pierced ears. The panther's ears have the silver hoops on them.

Normal Looks: Echo is tall and slender. About five foot, seven inches, she has a full chest, narrow waist, and nice hips. Her legs are long, and shaply.

She has shining onyx hair that falls down to her hips. Echo's skin is pale, and nearly flawless. Her eyes are pale, icy silver.

Usually she wears a pair of low riding, torn, dark blue jeans, and a black scoop neck tee shirt.

Her ears are pierced all the way up and around, silver hoops of different sizes adorn her ears. Her tounge, and belly button are also peirced.

Kurisu sat down under a tree. He was getting tired.

Echo rolled her eyes as she pulled the front door of the small apartment shut against the sound of her mother shouting at her. Something shattered against the door: she had just bearly evaded getting smashed.

She shook her satin black hair out of her kohl rimmed silver eyes, and started down the hallway of the dank apartment building.

As she walked, Kris passed her, whisteling at her. Kris was her mother's boyfriend. Echo bit back a remark, and hurried down the steps, and went outside.

She hated Kris with a burning passion for what he had done to her, but she could never tell her mother. Instead, she spent as much time outside as possible.

Echo made her way to the park, and found her fallen tree she used as a bench. She tucked her feet up under her, her long legs bare, the bottom hem of her dress riding up her thigh a little further.

Zade stopped turning a page of his book half way when he felt some ones eyes on his back. Turning around quickly he looked into the trees behind him only to see nothing. Turning back around to his book he continued to read.

"I think we should gte home" Suki said standing up

"Right" yuki said getting up too. they walked together. A car stopped beside them and someone inside grabbed them.

ALex stopped to get her breathe, when she did she could feel hands embrace her fromw behind. ALex was out of enegry but she strggled anyway, untill the strange took there hand and pressed down on ALex neck. ALex soon felt her body go limp because this was the only weak spot she knew of and very few people knew it but she had never shown it. ALex felt herself black out and she was kidnapped.

Mika hearing the footsteps again broke out into a sprint while fear over took her senses. Turning a corner she could make out her house just a couple houses down. She tried to speed up but she felt two strong arms wrap around her waist. She started to struggle and was about to scream when a cloth was put over her mouth and nose. The next thing she new she slipped into unconsciousness.

Feeling the eyes on him again Zade stood up and started to walk away thinking it was just some kids trying to play a joke. As he walked down the street a black car came up beside him. Zade looked at the car out of the corner of his eye and was about to take off running when one of the cars door opened up and he was shoved inside.

Jessica punched the guy in the gut with her elbow and stomped on his foot. "Jerk." she murmured.

Echo walked down the ally towards the park. She slid her pale hand into the pocket of her jeans, her fingers wrapping around the knife she had began carrying after she nearly got mugged about a year ago.

SHe heard footsteps behind her, and pulled the knife out of her pocket, and as she was turning around, something heavy collided with the side of her skull.

There was an explosion of colors, before Echo blacked out, crumpling onto the ground of the ally, knife still gripped in her fist.

When Ria awoke she was in a sort of cage. "WHAT THE HELL!?" She yelled. She rattled the bars.

"It's no use, Ria" Kurisu yelled from a nearby cage.

"KURISU!?" Ria yelled. (Remember they all know eachother)

"Yup, we're stuck" Kurisu replied.

Ria plopped to the ground.

"W-where are we?" Yuki said rubbing her eyes

"I dont know" Suki said looking out at the other pll
"RIA?!?" Suki yelled

Yuki looked up "KURISU?!?!"

Echo rolled over onto her back. Her head hurt like hell, and she slowly opened her eyes, her vision blurred.

A dark, dirty...cage?

She sat up quickly, her head spinning. She steadied herself on the bars of the cage. "Anyone out there?" she called.

The man grabbed her arm and smirked, "Got you." he said

"Let go of me!" she shouted trying to get loose

Echo leaned her back against the wall of bars, and slid down to a sitting position.

"Well...atleast ya'll are alive," she suggested, closing her eyes against the sight.

"QUIET!" An unfamiliar voice screamed. The voice echoped and everyone quieted down.

"Who are...?" Ria muttered.

"Ahh...yes. I am...your master..." The voice said.

"My what-now?" Kurisu growled.

ALex started to get feeling back into her arms so she looked around for a visable lock on the cages. ALex didn't like it because she couldn't see one. this is bad she thought to herslef.

"Great....." she murmured. Then rolled her eyes. "And what am I a pet?" she asked laughing sarcastically. "If yes then you got to be joking." she said

Echo got to her feet, gripping the bars before her. "If you think I'm going to be anyone's pet," she snapped, her voice low and deadly, "You've got another thing coming. And you...whoever you are....I will call you Master over my dead body."

ALex let out a low growl she didn't like what was happening or what the voice was saying.

Echo's hands balled into fists. "Who the hell are you!" she growled at the bodyless voice who claimed to be 'Master'.

Her silver eyes narrowed, and her temper boiled up in her. She turned, pulling her arm up high, and releasing it, punching one of the metal bars hard.

The metal echoed sickly, and she swore loudly.

"Echo are you alright" ALex said hearing the sound that had brought her out of her somewhat zombie state.

"Are you okay Echo...you should calm down" Suki said walked ot the side of the cage.

Mika's head snapped up when she heard the clang of the metal. "Echo are you hurt?" She asked with concern.

Zade didnt look up when he heard the noise instead he was trying to figure a way out of this.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Echo growled. "Letting my temper get the better of me," she explained, looking down at her pale hand, her knuckles purple, oozing blood slightly.

A few drops landed on the ground, and for some reason, the smell filled her nose. She was aware of all the sounds, every sence extra sensitive.

She shook her head to clear it, and winced from the pain in her hand. "I don't need to calm down, I just need to get out."

The smell of blood made ALex feel more aware, something in her mind wanted the blood. ALex closed her eyes what the heck is happeening shse thought.

All the scents and sounds made Echo's head spin. She used her left hand, her un battered hand, to steady herself against a bar. "Hey," she said, her voice low. "Anyone else's scences strangely sharp?"

The Master turned on the lights. "Silence" He commanded. You all are my pets now...and If you don't believe me..." He snapped his fingers and with a puff of smoke Ria was replaced with a tiger cub.

Ria turned around in circles. "Why am I small" the tiger said.

Master laughed.

Echo backed to the back wall of her cage, and ran towards the opposite side, jumping at the bars.

Her intention had been to open the door, but all she managed to do was knock the cage on its side.

It clattered, and she swore loudly again. "What the **** is wrong with you!" she screamed, beating her already bloody fist against the bars more.

"Please just dont let her die and change her back." Mika said in a small voice.
