Once the elderly man finished the story he shifted his icy blue eyes to look at the face of his curious grandchild with her crimson eyes wide with wonder.

"Why would the Rat want to do something so mean to the Cat?" little Yuna asked as she moved her legs make and forth as she laid on her stomach on her bed.

"You see, little Yunie, some are like that. They wish for others to suffer because that's just the way they are. They want to be admired for their popularity, or for the places they've been or the things they have. It's just the way many animals and people work." Grandpa Takeshi told "Little Yunie" as her little mouth fell open just abit in amazement.

"But, that's not right. I don't see why people would want to hurt people. It just doesn't make sense, Grandpa." Yuna said as she brought herself to sit up with her hands in her lap.

Her words brought Grandpa Takeshi to a hoarse chuckle as he looked at his adorable grandchild. His old, wrinkled hand then moved over to her head, patting it and running his hands down her soft, brown hair.

"If only they could all see from your eyes, huh, little Yunie? Don't ever change, please. Stay the way you are." her Grandpa begged in his calm way then this made Yuna giggle at her grandfather.

"Why do you say that? I'm always going to be myself, silly."

Grandpa Takeshi then chuckled at his Yuna's responce then patted her head one last time before he got up from her bed.

"All right, little Yunie... Time for bed." Grandpa Takeshi said to his 7-year-old grandchild and she made a face as if she had swallowed something extremly sour at his words.

"C'mon... The sooner you get to bed the sooner you can wake up because going to bed is like your very own time machine." Grandpa Takeshi said with a laugh that brought a smile to Yuna and she quickly jumped into bed.

She sighed, rubbing her side, which was sure to be completely bruised in the morning.

Mei heard a knock at the door, and her eyes, which were slitted, narrowed just a bit. "Come in." she yelled, turning over, stuffing her head into her pillow. She felt her mom sit down on the bed next to her. "Oh, honey, did you get into another fight...?" she said, stroking her daughter's hair gently.
"Yeah, now leave me alone." Mei muttered, turning away from her gentle, long brown-haired, mom, whose soft chocolate eyes were looking at her protectively.
"Oh, you know you don't need to get into fights, what if you accidently embraced one of them. Your beads didn't come off, did they?"
"NO! Now get out! Please!" she yelled, biting her lip. The last thing she wanted to think about was what happened when her beads came off.
Her mom sighed sadly, and left the room, shutting the door behind gently.

Kyoko listened to the sounds of the park listenly then heard a person scream and a ball bounced to her feet. She looked down unsurely then picked it up after a while of fumbling then looked around, of course seeing nothing. "Here!" Laughed a voice. Kyoko walked towards the voice holding out the ball.

The man took the ball with thanks and Kyoko stood there silently greiving over what she lost herself. She walked back towards the bench and sighed, collasping down into it.

Whenever she prayed, it was as if all the thoughts and feelings dissipated into nothingness, allowing her a little bit of peace. She fingered her bracelet, her brow furrowed a little.

Christine got dressed and desied to go to the park for fun, she dressed in her normal jeans and a t-shirt and headed out the door. She walked to the park ipod in ear and humming the song that was playing.
