"huh," Yuka looked up at the sky. "Well, i guess we're both insane." he said. he hadn't noticed until that moment how close they were. he had put his arm around her but it had just been a friendly gensture when he had done it. now, with her leaning on his shoulder it seemed more than friendly. he's first instinct would be to pull away but some how he didn't want to. he looked down at her. her face was slightly tear stained. he wet his lips, finding it slightly hard to breath.

Rose glanced up and her eyes seemed to lock with his. Rose then noticed how close they where sitting but for some reason it didnt bother her in fact she felt like it was a natural thing for him to have his arm around her.

Yuka looked up at the sky. life had gotten a lot more complicated in the last day. teaching a Kingsmen Tai Chi, hitting a guy he'd never met for the same Kingsmen, now kissing her? what was happening to his life? he liked it though. he liked that he had punched a Dante in the face and ax kicked his back if it meant that Rose was safe. and he was glad that he had kissed her, if it meant that she was happy.

Jareth awoke when the moon was up. Pushing the lid off of his coffin he climb out and made his way to the living room where he sensed Zade was. "Good evening Zade." Was all Jareth said as he leaned up against the entry way. "So Jareth do you want to tell me where you where all last night?" Zade asked with a raised eyebrow. "I was downtown hanging out at a couple of clubs thats all." Jareth said with a straight face. "Well make sure it doesnt happen again." Zade said not entirely believing him. "Sure whatever. I am gonna go get some thing to eat." And with that Jareth made his way out of the house and towards the woods.

"Good." he said, "I'm looking forward to it." he turned and walked off toward home.

Yuka waved behind him as he went. when he got home, his mother was hystarical. "What do you think you're doing staying out all night twice in a row!?" she asked, "Are you trying to scare me to death?"
"No mother." he said, "I'm sorry, i fell asleep again."
"that's it mister." she said, "You will stay in your room tonight. i don't want you leaving this house."
"K mom." Yuka said, already planing to climb out his window.

Rose opened the back door and tried to sneak up the stair and into her room but half way up the stair she heard her mothers angry voice. "Rose! get in the living room this intent!" she yelled. With a sigh Rose turned around and walked into the living room.

"You'd better not leave your room mister." Yuka's mother called after him as he went up the stairs. "I won't." he called back. but he didn't go into his room first. he went into his parents room and began rummagin through his mother's jewlry. he soon found what he was looking for, his grandmother's ring. he pocketed it and went to his room.

"Where have you been! I went into your room this morning to wake you up only to find out you wherent in your bed!" Her mother yelled at her. "um will i went for a walk in the forest and i ended up falling asleep in a clearing." she told her while looking down at the ground. "Will young lady you are grounded until the ball. Go to your room this instant." her mother said while pointing up the stairs. "Yes mother." Rose said with a sigh as she made her way up the stairs and to her room.

Yuka stared at his cealing, i hope she didn't get yelled at too much. he thought. a Kingsmen and a Kiniqua, pretending to be engaged... that will draw some stares at the very least. he smiled this was going to be fun.

Rose closed and locked her door once she got to her room. She walked over and sat down on her bed. The night of the ball is going to be one drama filled night. Although i think it will be very fun and intersiting she thought with a smile.

i wonder what i should say... Yuka said, he stood up and knelt on one knee in front of his bed, holding the ring up to an imaginary Rose and trying to think of the right words.

yuzu smiled and moved away teasingly. she dived down to the bottom of the pond and looked back at him.

aden rolled his eyes, and turned into a rather small dragon so that he wouldn't be seen as easily, and flew after her.

when yuzu got home she walked in to see a gut her age and another guy that seemed to be his father. when she came in they looked at her and left. "who were they" she asked her father. "that grey morler and his son clay." her father said. "what did they want?" she asked "they were her to talk about your wedding." she looked at her father confused. "what do you mean" she asked. " you will be marrying clay next summer." her father said. yuzu stared at him unable to speak. " no i will not" she said after a few minutes "yes you will" her father said yuzu smacked him then started to walk away but her father grabbed her and through her on the floor. and kick her many times. then sent her to her room.

aden saw the whole thing threw the window, and flew up to where he guessed her room to be and changed back. he sat on her bed and waited for her to walk in.

i cant believe i am actually going to go through with this. she thought laying down on her back and staring up at the ceiling. hmm i kinda just wish though that our engagement wasnt going to be pretend. she thought sadly.

"Why am i stressing about this so much?" he though, "It's only gonna be pretend. it's not like i'm actually proposing." he went back on one knee and tried again, "Rose....." he couldn't think of anything. he said, "Just marry me okay?" he asked the imaginary Rose, "Just say you will so i don't have to make more of a full of myself."
