Jareth's teeth sank into the teenage girls neck and he started to drain her of blood. The girls body was becoming weaker and Jareth had to wrap his arms around her waist to keep her from falling onto the ground. Pulling back right before the girl died he gently laid her on the forest floor before wiping his mouth and walking away.

"My blood?!" She said getting really freaked out. "Um why my blood i mean i am sure theres tons of animals in the forest. Or maybe you could go to the store and get some raw meat?" Ash's tail was the only sign that showed she was vampire and dog demon. She heard something and growled. She smirked and grabbed Rose and lowered her fangs to her neck

aden just stood there for a couple moments, with some girl he didn't even know uncounsious in his arms. what am i saposed to do now?! he thought i guess i'll take her to my cave... and wait for her to gain consiousnes. he picked her up, and and started carrying her back.

Yuka screamed as the she bit him. he kicked her off of him, rolling to the side and picking up his stick which he had dropped. "RUN!" he shouted to the girl. not wanting her to get hurt. "RUN!" he charged at the Vampire, stick ready to thrust into her gut.

yuzu woke up she was being carried by someone she screamed and jumped out of his arms. she started to back away but with every move her body got weaker and weaker then she just collasped(sp?).

Rose wanted to obey the guy who told her to run but her fear had taken over her body and she was unable to move. She was also concerned for the guys well being seeing as she blamed him getting hurt on her self because she wasnt strong enough to fight a vampire so he had to come help her. Seeing the vampire run off she quickly went over to the guy. "Are you ok?" She asked with concern in her eyes.

After about 15 minutes Rose finally made it to the back door of her family's mansion. Quietly opening the door she made her way silently through the kitchens and the living rooms till she got to the stair case. Walking up them she made sure to jump over the step that was known to creak every once in a while. Safely making it to her room she changed into her PJ's and went to bed all the while thinking of Yuka.

A little frustrated that Ash had moved away from him Jareth looked ahead again and took a step away for the girl to give her space.

Yuka stopped his Tai Chi and sat on his favorite branch for a while. he's mind kept wandering back to Rose. she was a Kingsmen. he had no business with her. but still, he wanted to see her again. he slowly drifted off to sleep.

Rose tossed and turned in her bed unable to get to sleep. why cant i get him out of my head! she thought with a fustrated sigh as she rolled over and stared out her window and looked up at the night sky.

Yuka dreamed about her. in his dream they were in the clearing, doing Tai Chi. he was guiding her with his hands. she looked back and their lips meet. if it would have happened in reality he would have pulled back. but this was a dream it didn't matter here, so he kissed her, and he liked it. so he kissed her again, and she kissed him back. then his grandfather came, and pulled him away by the ear.

Rose's eyes finally started to droop and she was soon lost in dreams filled with Yuka. Them talking in the clearing, doing Tai Chi, kissing by the lake located deep in the woods, and finally them getting ripped apart by her father who dragged her off into the arms of Dante her soon to be fiancie.

Yuka woke with a start. it was morning and he was still in the clearing. he swore. "Can't believe i fell asleep out here." the said to himself. his mom would probably be pissed at him. he streached a little. a little more time here wouldn't hurt, he leaned back and began to think about the dream he had had.

Blinding sunlight hit Roses eye lids as her maid flung open the curtains. "Your mother says it is time to get up Miss. Kingsmen." The maid told her before walking out of the room. Rose sat up with a groan and stretched her hands over her head while letting out a small yawn.

Yuka sighed. he should probably be heading back, but he didn't feel like moving. slowly he fell back asleep, still in the grove havig the same dream he had had that night.

Ash was in her room, as the sun rose. She glared at her family and went to the library. "Jareth..."

Rose threw the covers off of her and started to get ready. After a quick shower she went over to her closet and picked out a pair of faded blue jeans and a purple tank top with a weird deisgin of swirls on it. All the while her thoughts where on her dream and Yuka.

Making it home with out a second to spar Jareth quickly went into his room and headed for his coffin. He stopped and took off a note that was laying on top of it.

Rose walked down stairs and into the dinning room and took a seat in the middle of the long table. "Good morning mother, father." She said politely. "Good morning Rose dear. So how did you sleep?" Her mother asked between bites of her grapefruit. "O um very will." She said while some what lying. "So what does the family have planned for the day?" Rose asked. "We are going over to the Richards manor today for a visit." Her father told her while he flipped a page of his newspaper. "Yes we figured it would be good for you to get to know Dante and his family." Her mother said. "O...yeah that sounds great." Rose said with a fake smile on her face.

Yuka finally made it home. "Where have you been?!" his mother asked when he came in the door.
"I fell asleep in my quiet spot mom." he told her, "No big deal."

Yuka rode past a huge mansion. something caught his eye and he stopped and backed up. there were people getting out of a limo. one of them was Rose. his face turned red under his helmet as he remembered the dream he had had.

Her parents and Dante's parents went into the seating room while Dante took her into the gardens. They walked along in silence through the rows of flowers all the while Dante's arm was still around her waist. God can he please remove his arm now he is giving me the creeps. She thought with a shiver. "So Rose as you know the Wallace family is holding there annual ball in a week and i was wondering what color your dress was so i know to match it with my tux." Dante said while pulling her closer. ugh he didnt even ask me to go with him! he just assumed i would! she thought angerly. "O it is a deep crimson red." She told him with a fake cherry voice as they continued to walk farther away from the parents eyes.

Yuka rode fast. he tried to get the image out of his head. but it was not use. he kept seeing that guy with his arm around Rose. she hadn't looked at all happy. he wish he could go back and steal her away. take her back to the grove. do Tai Chi with her until they had both calmed down. the image from his dream popped into his head. them doing Tai Chi and kissing. his face turned red. Maybe Tai Chi wasn't the best thing to be doing with her.

Ash sighed and looked at the window slightly and hissed at the sun. "Go down already" she said. She grabbed her black hoodie and ran outside. She got on her pitch black horse and ran through the forest.

Dante and Rose stopped walking when they reached a small bench under one of the cherry tree. Dante sat down and patted the seat next to him. Rose was hesitant to sit because she new the tree would block them out of view. Please dont let him try and pull anything. she pleaded in her head while she sat down as far away from him as possible. "So Rose as you know our parents want us to be wed. But i assume you have noticed i have not asked you yet and i dont want you to worry about that because i shall very soon." Dante told her while scooting closer to her so his hand rested on her knee. Rose just gave him a weak smile.

Yuka sighed. he couldn't stand this anymore. he just wanted to see what they were doing. he turned his bike around and zoomed off toward the mansion. he parked a little ways away so they wouldn't notice him. he snuck around back and silently climbed a tree to peir over the wall. they were sitting on a bench, he hand his hand on her knee. Yuka wanted so much to slap it off. or to punch the guy but he held back. he had to keep himself under control. he didn't even know why he was there.

that was the last straw. Yuka jumped down from the tree, landing in front of them and punched the guy hard in the face. "You must be the stupidest man on the planet." he said, "She gave you, every sign that she did not want to kiss you and you ignored it. you disgust me."

Rose looked up and saw Yuka standing over Dante who was knocked down from his punch. "Yuka." She said surprised but also happy as she stood up from the bench. Dante stood up and whipped the side off his mouth where a little blood was trickling down. "Who the hell are you? and what are you doing on my property?" He asked venomously before he threw a bunch right at Yuka's gut.

Yuka side stepped the punch and braught an ax kick down on the guys spine. "Yuka Kiniqua." he said, "That's hardly polite of you." he turned to Rose. "You alright?" he asked.

Dante fell to the floor face down and curled up some what in a ball as he winced in pain. "yeah thanks to! you seem to be saving me from a lot of things lately." She said with a smile. A grunt was heard as Dante tried to stand. "Rose! could you please explain to me what your doing being friendly to a Kiniqua while your a kingsmen o and the fact that he as hurt your future husband." Dante snapped at her with a glare. Rose gulped and opened her mouth to say something but couldnt think of anything to tell Dante.

"She has mannors." Yuka said, "At least one of you does. when someone saves you, you say thank you. it doesn't matter who they are or how who they hurt. and besides, you desurved it. now if you'll excuse me..." he bowed to Rose and whispered softly so the other guy wouldn't hear, "the grove tonight." then jumped back into the tree.

Rose watched as he left and then turned and walked over to Dante. As she went to help him he jerked away from her while glaring. Not wanting her parents to know she had been nice to a Kiniqua she quickly made up a lie to tell Dante so he would calm down. "Dante you dont honestly believe what he said do you? i was only pretending to be nice so he wouldnt get more violent i mean who knows what he could have done after all he is a Kiniqua." She said. Dante looked at her suspiciously for a second before giving her a smile. "O Rose your smarter than you look, please forgive me for doubting you." He said while he put and arm around her waist again. "of course i will silly." She said with a fake smile as they made there way inside for lunch.

Yuka climbed back on his bike and swore. "Why did i do that?" he asked himself as he pushed off and rode down the street. "That was the stupidest thing i've ever done."

As Dante and Rose made there way into the dinning room for lunch they sat across from each other near the middle of the table. Lunch went on with some small talk and surprisingly Dante didnt mention Yuka or what happened in the gardens at all. After lunch Rose's father said that it was time they headed home for the day. "Goodbye Rose i hope to see you soon." Dante said with a bow as he kissed her hand acting like a perfect gentleman in front of the parents. Rose gave him a polite smile and curtsied before her and her family got back into the limo and headed home.

Yuka drove around alittle bit more before heading home. he was sick of thinking and his bike would run out of gas if he kept going like he was. he went home and went into his room. he sat on his bed and stared at the cealing. "Nothin to do here." he said to himself. his thoughts wandered back to Rose.

After having to endure the long car ride home with her mother talking about how perfect her and Dante where for each other Rose quickly made her way to her room Flopping down on her bed she stared out her window and her thoughts imideatly went to Yuka.

"That was the weirdest dream ever." he told himself, "We're just friends. if you can even call us that. kissing? out of the question." he looked out his window. it wouldn't hurt to go to the grove a little early. he got up and left the house, heading toward the grove.

It was getting late and Roses parents had already go to bed a little over a half hour ago. Rose after making sure every one was asleep made her way out the back door again and started to walk towards the grove.

"Will um not exactly. You see he hasnt proposed yet but he says he is going to soon and my parents expect me to say yes so in a way he is but its not official yet." Rose said with a sigh as she sat down in the soft grass.

Yuka opened his eyes again. "Oh," he said. he jumped down and began kicking a tree that was missing bark on either side. he started with round-houses. "That scumbag." he said, "What did he think he was doing touching you like that. not even engaged? what the heck was wrong with him." he switched lets.

Rose watched him practice for a few seconds before speaking. "To him i am already his so he thinks it is perfectly ok to act like he does i am just glad you came today and stopped him before he went even farther." She said while continuing to watch him

He switched feet again and started on sidekicks. "Ya shoulda slapped him." he said, "He had no right to touch you like that."

Rose's eyes lowered to the ground. "If i would have done that then i would have probably been hit back and no one would have done a thing about it or question it." Rose muttered mostly to her self.

Yuka stopped kicking the tree and turned. "Are you seriose?" he asked, "What the heck kinda family is that?" he shook his head and jumped back up to his favorite spot. "That's just the trouble with you Kingsmen. ya never stick up for yourselves. you should have a little pride. stop letting people push you around."

"I am sorry if i am not as strong as you are!" she snapped while turning her head away from him. "I wasnt raised to stand up to people i was raised to marry a rich young man to better my family's name if if i loathed him just like my mother was raised and her mother before her and so on." She said while tears welled up in the corner of her eyes.

"It's stupid if you ask me." He said, closing his eyes, "If you don't like the guy you shouldn't marry him. you're parents should want to see you happy, even if it does mean you don't 'better the family name.'" he opened one eye, "You should cry either." he said, "It's not becoming."

Rose whipped her eyes with the back of her hand. "You dont understand its not that easy. My parents and me arent very close and they where raised the same way i am being raised so it is the only thing they know." She said as she tried to stop her tears.

Yuka sighed, "There you go again." he said, "I tell you not to cry and you try not to. honestly is that all you know?" he jumped down and pulled out a hanky. "here, go ahead and cry if you want. i know that's the way you were raised. it's the way you all were raised. it's one of the reasons my family hates your family, y'all are pushovers. ya know how the whole stupid fued started?" he asked.

"No i dont." Rose mumbled as she took the hanky and whipped away her tears.

"Well, according to the stories, my ancester fell in lover with your ancester." Yuka explained, "But your ancester was in an arranged marrage and wouldn't back out even though they hated the person they were betrothed to. so your ancester broke my ancester's heart and we've hated each other ever since. the end."

Rose didnt say anything for a little while she just looked up at the night sky. "Yuka i dont want to marry Dante. I dont want to be like the rest of my family and only marry for money. I want to marry some one i love." She said in a whisper.

[Hikari Hoshi]

"Than you should." Yuka said, "You should refuse that Dante guy. what's the worst that could happen?" he put an arm around her to comfort her, "Don't worry, i'll be there in case he goes violent."

Rose leaned her head on his shoulder. "Thank you." she said in a small voice as she gave him a small smile.

Yuka looked at her out of the out of the corner of his eye, "No problem." he said, "That's what friends are for." he sighed and sat in silence for a while then said, "I know what'd cheer you up. why don't i tell you about this insane dream i had last night? you were in it."

"Really? What was it about?" Rose said curiously as she removed her head from his shoulder to look at him better.

"Well i was teaching you Tai Chi." he began, "And you were doing really well. then you looked back at me i guess to see if you were doing it right. but i was right behind you and when you turned your head our lips met." he began to turn a little bit red. "Since it was a dream i kissed you, and i liked it, so i kissed you again, and you kissed back. and then my grandfather came and dragged me away by the ear." his face was near beat read now and he turned away so she couldn't see his face. "I must sound just as perverted as that Dante guy." he said softly.
