And everyone, it would seem, wants them dead before they can save thier homeland....

History: Frigid is Dara's twin, and they both have managed to squeak through the people out to kill them so far. Thier mother and father died protecting them, in front of them, and they both only live because of luck, a stream, and thier power.

Frigid, Dara, and John were camped in a clearing. Frigid was cheerfully mending one of her spare shirts as John cooked. Dara was sitting in a tree, playing a tune on her flute that she made up as she went.

"Did you see them?" A woman with white hair asked.
A blonde male nodded. "Yeah."
A dark haired male spoke up next. "Any idea who wants to attack them next?"
"No idea."
Dara finally put up her flute, and sighed. "I'm going to go scout, see if those near us intend to hurt us." She said.
The other two nodded, and Dara was off, walking through the trees at a pace that could be called impossible.

Tikori was sitting on the ground, removing the dark hood covering her hair. White hair spilled out and grey eyes looked up.
"Someone's coming." She said.
Tai and Kyo nodded.
Dara slowed as she came to the clearing, and lightly hopped into a tree. She silently peered through the branches at the fighters. Her twin normally did this, but... Frigid was sleepy,a nd Dara liked doing this anyway.

Dara poked her blue head out, and wrinkled her nose. Her staff was on her back, and she made a face. "Hurt me and I will come back to haunt you" Came out of her mouth without a second thought.

Tikori stood, keeping her weapon hidden from view.
"Hello there." She said.
"Mind telling us why you were hiding?" Kyo lifted an eyebrow, amber eyes flashing a little.
"Times arn't safe neighbor." Dara said. "W- I thoght you were possibly going to attack me." She said, almost saying we instead.
Frigid and John were still mending and cooking, knowing if dara needed help, they would know.

"We wouldn't attack..." Tikori looked over at Tai, smirking. "Well, we weren't. I can't speak for him." she motioned to the male, who shared her eyes.
"I wouldn't have attacked...I know what I would be up against." Tai protested, glaring at the white haired young woman.
She shrugged her slender shoulders. "Whatever you say Brother."
Dara made a face. "Well, if you won't attack us, I may as well get back." She said. "My twin and my friend will be expecting me." She added, hoping to get them to leave her alone

Tikori and Kyo disappeared into the trees, Tai following them on the ground.
Dara went as well, simply going into the trees. She hated being on the ground. When she got back, she swung beside them. "Frigid, John, its all good." She said. Joshn smiled and handed her some food. The three didn't often talk.

"You're going slow Brother." Tikori stopped in one of the trees, sitting on the limb to look at her older brother.
He looked up, lifting an eyebrow. "I can't help it if I'm a human who doesn't like trees."
His sister made a face, tying her hair into a very messy ponytail. She jumped from the tree, spiraling down until she twisted and landed on her feet.
"You looked lonely. I'll walk with you." Tikori announced.
Tai shrugged and walked past her. "Suit yourself."

After Dara had eaten, she got her flute out again and began to play. The music was loud this time, and happy- it was a reward for the spirits that guarded the group.
Frigid smiled as her sister played, heading for her bedroll.
John yawned, and streched.

He listened for a moment. "Never mind. Let's keep moving."
Tikori watched him for a moment before following. Tai followed her.

Dara kept playing, the tune changing to a slower song to calm the spirits as they danced around the camp, happy. It was loud enough to be heard far away, because she was playing the song into death.

The three companions sat under trees, focusing their magic. Tikori gasped as her brother took over her body, before switching to Kyo's. As this happened, his body was useless, the only flaw to his power. Tikori surrounded her brother's body in darkness, in case an enemies chose to attack at that moment; she didn't want anything happening to Tai's body...it could hurt him dearly.
the others were asleep, and Dara began to play the melody she rarely ever played around others. It was a sad melody- it ws how she felt. She wanted to be accepted, but that would never happen. Her power was strange, and nobody wanted the twins about.

the spirits in her mind were making ahuge clamor, and if a demon was listening would be heard, as they really wanted Dara to do somthing other than talk.

"Hey Tikori...I never asked you about this have I?" Kyo looked at her.
"Asked me about what?" She looked at him, locking grey eyes with his amber ones.
"How are you and Tai related? You're a full demon and he's a human...so how is that possible?"
"Long story." The siblings replied together, staring at Kyo.
"I'm listening." Kyo wanted them to continue.
Tikori smiled. "I'll tell you when you're older."
Tai laughed at Kyo's face.
Frigid woke up and stared at the stranger.
Twin, i'm going for a walk. I need to strech my legs.

Kyo took watch as the silbings slept. As usual, he knew they would be waking up in a few, knowing that they hated sleeping for long periods of time. He sighed as he looked into space, crossing his arms over his chest.
Frigid was soon near where they were, as they were alot closer to the camp now. When she saw the strangers, she blinked. The one on watch was cute..... she shook her head, and debated weather to speak.

Kyo looked up when he sensed someone. He noticed a girl not too far away. He lifted an eyebrow, studying her silently.
Dara got up, going after her twin after setting a spirit to guard the camp. The stranger must have been a figmant of her imagination. She was bored- and the camp was guarded better with the spirit anyway.
Frigid sighed. "Hullo."

Frigid raised an eyebrow at him.
dara put her hands on hips. "It wasn't about you dumb dumb. Theres attackers headed this way." She wrinkled her nose. "They'll be here in five minutes. I suggest you leave."

Frigid and Dara exchanged identical looks and shrugged.
"It's your turn.' Said frigid to Dara. Dara nodded and climed a tree quickly, hiding herself. She began to get ready to go into death, then plunged in.
Frigid took up a guard beneath the base of Dara's tree.

Tikori, Tai and Kyo sat near each other, focusing on god knows what.
atr that point the enemy entered, and Frigid was kept busy. But strange forms, that were obviously very dead, were forming and fighting in the midist of the enemy. It was a band of bandits, about 50 strong.

The three helped fight, bored.
The enemy was soon very very dead, and Frigid cleaned her weapons. Dara reappeared from the tree, now pale as a ghost, and covered in a thin sheen of ice, the sign of necromancy.
Frigid helped her sister down, and helped get the ice off.

((I saw snow and skied, but I had to be made cause the slope was so steep, and I rode a ski lift thingy, and I got covered in snow cause I felll twice, and both times it was on purpose to stop cause I didn't like going fast, and then I had a snowball fight, and now we're all just kinda bein sleepy..))

Tai looked over at the two girls. "You two okay?"
Kyo sat back on the ground, looking up at the sky.
Dara yawned. "I will be after I've gotton some sleep.."
Frigid smiled. "Its a bit hard to hurt us." She said in the sweetest tone. "Thank you for helping."
Dara nodded, sleepily leaning on the still icy tree.
The figures which had been fighting were visible now as sinking blood that was slowly vanishing.

"You three ok?" Frigid asked, quirking her head to the side.
Dara looked like she was falling asleep, but then stood and hugged her sister. "I'm heading back, the friend-spirit I set to guard wants to go home, and I want to sleep. I'll wake John for his watch." She said, her voice carrying a bit louder than she ment it it be, a sign of her exaustion.
Frigid nodded, and continued to wait for an answer from the three as her twin headed off.

Dara released the spirit as John took up guard, waiting for Frigid to get back.

Frigid hugged john, and he let them in, leaning on a tree.
Dara was up again, unable to sleep. The dead kept whispering to her, and so she was whittling a stick in front of the fire.
Frigid smiled. "Our sleeping bags are over there." She said, nodding behind Dara.

As she slept, a dark shadow surrounded Tikori. Tai rubbed her hair gently; she was dreaming. Kyo laid back, staring blankly at the stars.
Dara finished the little statuete and looked at Tai, then the statue, then at Tai again.
Frigid smiled and took it away, heading to where Tai sat.
Dara shrugged and reached for her flute.

Dara turned red then blew a string of notes on her flute that made frigid blush before settling into a calming tune.
Frigid wrinkled her nose, and went to go back to sit with her twin.

Kyo and Tai listened to them. Tikori opened on eye, listening to them as well.
It made the fact they were twins obvious, and John actually came into the firelight to listen to them. Also, a strange glow formed around the two as they accidentally tapped into thier powr. Daras was dark light, like twilight,a nd Frigid's was like her hair, sunny.

They finished, and Dara yawned, the light vanisheing from both.
"You shoulden't have done that." John remarked.
The twins shot him identical looks that were full of confusion, and Frigid yawned too.

John smiled. "Thanks for helping them then." He said. "I'm not surprised they invited you back, they have alot of manners- even if folk hate them.." he said. He was tierder than he thought, and didn't think to hide the two's gifts.

Tai blinked when his felt something clutch his wrist. He looked at his sister to see that she had grabbed his wrist and was sitting up slightly, looking at John.
"You're tired..." she said in a very soft voice. "You should sleep..."
John smiled. "You can get some rest. I should hope I know how to guard. We three can keep watch tonight." He said. "If you decide to stick with us, we can split the watches then."

He nodded. "Yup..." he sighed. "Looks like she'll be sleeping most of the day."

Dara finished the song. "Morning!" She said cheerfully to the other three.
"Breakfast is ready." Frigid said louder than her twin at the same time.
John laughed and got up to get breakfast.

Dara and John had thier porridge, and Dara was eating cheerfully.
John looked mostly asleep.
Frigid handed a bowl to Kyo. "There you go."

Finally, Kyo finished making Tikori eat. They got off of her and Tikori moved away from them, a darkness surrounding her. Tai laughed.
"Aw, are you mad at us?" He asked.
"Can it!"
Kyo laughed as well.
Dara thought, then went and gave Tikori a hug.
The others were grinning widely.

Dara finished packing and sholdered her pack. "Ready guys?" Seh asked nobody in particualr as she went to extinguish the fire.

The twins both ran into the pit furst, yelping as they fell into the deep trap. John tripped into the pit, one arm flying out.

"Tikori, stop their fall!"
Tikori stopped and sent a huge cloud of darkness into the pit, under them to stop their fall. The cloud was soft enough not to hurt them but sturdy enough to stop the falling.
Tai and Kyo grabbed John's arm, before he could continue falling.
The twins both looked confused. "Thank you" They bothcalled.
John's other arm was broken from when it banged on the side of the pit. "Thanks." he managed. Just then, snow began to fall from the sky.

Tai, Tikori and Kyo all looked at Frigid, not knowing what she said. They narrowed their eyes before looking at each other.
"Go after her Tai." Tikori instructed and he nodded, getting up, and going after her.
Kyo popped his knuckles and he held a silent conversation with Tikori. She then looked at Frigid.
"What's wrong with Dara?" she asked.
Dara ran through the snow at her top speed, tears flooding down her face. The words her twin had said into her mind circled, like a hungry shark about its prey. Dara was a fast runner, she was already a ways away from the cave.
Frigid ignored him cooly.
John had fallen asleep n the back of the cave.

Kyo held her tightly, not letting her go. Tikori struggled more as she continued shouting.

A silence passed before Tikori let out a muffled scream. She felt something wrap around her ankles and she didn't like it.

John noticed somthing green, slithery, and disturbing looking on the floor and pulled his sword. "Oh Snakes!" He exclaimed, looking disgusted. He went to kill them, they looked poisonous.
