"Fighting, comprimising, getting mad at the stupid things I do, ummm, talking to the horses, and beating me up."

She pouted, letting go. "Fine. Though you didn't say what I wanted you to."

[Strega]

"What did you want me to say?"

[Kitty_Chan]

"Nothing." She huffed, closing her eyes and turning her head away.

[Strega]

"What? Tell me..."

[Kitty_Chan]

"No. If you don't know, then nevermind."

[Strega]

"Tell me."

[Kitty_Chan]

"No. Stop asking."

[Strega]

"I'm not asking. I'm saying. Tell. Me."

[Kitty_Chan]

"And I'm saying no. Why don't you think for a second?"

[Strega]

"Because my brain turned off."

[Kitty_Chan]

"Too bad."

[Strega]

"Please?" he gave her a semi-puppy pout.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora stared at him, eyes showing hurt and anger. "No."

[Strega]

"Yes." he wasn't giving up. She was great at making him cry, blush, laugh, and feel... wanted, but he didn't have the nerve to say it.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora just looked away, staring at the horses.

[Strega]

"You're great..." he whispered, "At everything.... Making me cry, blush, laugh, and feel... wanted, but above all else, being you."

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora looked at him before she smiled, hopping off the caravan, hugging him around the neck.
"Thank you..."

[Strega]

He hugged her back, "You're welcome..."

[Kitty_Chan]

"You're great, too... At too many things for me to list..."

[Strega]

"Then just a few."

[Kitty_Chan]

"You're human-smart, funny, kind, caring, compassionate, strong, willing, sweet, friendly..." Aurora listed, smiling.

[Strega]

"Glad to know someone thinks so." he smiled.

She smiled. "Only it's not a 'think'. It's a know."

[Strega]

"Thanks." Sora smiled and hummed as he walked.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora hopped back on the caravan, legs dangling off the edge. "You don't have to walk anymore."

[Strega]

"Okay." He jumped back on, landing gracefully into the seat next to Aurora.

[Kitty_Chan]

She smiled at him before watching the ground.

[Strega]

He continued to hum.

[Kitty_Chan]

She continued listening, trying to pick it up.

[Strega]

"... I don't remember the words to the song... But I remember my mom singing it to me... All I can get is the tune..."

[Kitty_Chan]

"Oh."

He nodded.

She looked up at the sky, thinking about all the human things she couldn't seem to get.

He went back to his humming.

Aurora swung her feet back and forth again, bored.

He closed his eyes.

Aurora began to space out, staring at the night sky.

[Strega]

He started to smile as he hid a tear.

[Kitty_Chan]

Her ear's twitched a bit before she blinked, turning to him. "What's wrong?"

[Strega]

He shook his head, "Nothing."

[Kitty_Chan]

"It's something. Most people don't just feel sad for no reason."

He shrugged.

"Nope." he shook his head.

"Fine." Shr shrugged, not caring anymore as she turned away.

He stared at the floor.

Aurora kicked her feet back and forth, looking up at the sky.

He continued humming.

[Kitty_Chan]

She began to hum her own tune very quietly, still looking up.

[Strega]

"... That's pretty...."

[Kitty_Chan]

She half-shrugged. "It's just something I made up when I was a kid."

[Strega]

"Can you continue?"

[Kitty_Chan]

She blushed slightly. "No.... You're listening now...."

[Strega]

"Then I'll ignore you." he looked at the sky.

[Strega]

Aurora sighed before she began to sing quietly in 'human'.

She slipped her arms around his neck, resing her head on his. "Don't be sad... I mean, it's just a song."

"Tch." She closed her eyes, huffing a bit. "That's kinda a dumb reason to cry."

"Don't be." he felt like a child, crying all the time.

"Ouch, so cruel." he acted like he got shot in the heart and fell backwards.

She sweatdropped. "You should be used to it by now...."

"You have serious mood swings." he laughed.

She glared at him. "Yeah, and you're about to experience one that jumps from kind to malicious."

Aurora giggled. "You're such a dork."

"Owie..." he whimpered, keeping his hand close.

"You deserved it."

"How come?"

"I don't like people touch my stomach area." She snapped, wrapping her arms around her own waist.

"And I don't like being hit, but that doesn't matter..."

"Yeah, but I did what you don't like because you did what I don't like."

"But you hit me any other time too."

"Because you do something I don't like. It's karma."

"Karma in it's cruelest form."

"Justice."

He shook his head, still chuckling a little.

She smiled, glad to have livened up the mood.

He started humming a happy, light tune.

Aurora just looked up, occasionally(??) spacing out.

"So, I'm bored, you?"

[Kitty_Chan]

"Thinking."

[Strega]

"... Well, that's no fun..."

"Only because YOU are unable to."

"Cruel..."

[Kitty_Chan]

She smiled softly as she continued staring up.

[Strega]

Sora huffed, falling backwards.

[Kitty_Chan]

She began to hum before stopping, shaking her head and doing another tune. Aurora repeated this a few times.

[Strega]

He started to whistle.


((Should we have Jack show up? I'm tired of putting humming and whistling....))

(( lol, go ahead. It'd give us something to do. ))

Aurora's ears twitched as she blinked, looking around.

[Strega]

Sora sat up straight, "You hear something?"

[Kitty_Chan]

"Rustling..." She muttered, readying he blades again.

[Strega]

He swallowed, a water ball ready.

[Kitty_Chan]

She waited patiently, not showing any particular emotion.

[Strega]

Sora got lower, "Duck..."

[Kitty_Chan]

She blinked before doing as he said.

[Strega]

An arrow hit the spot where her had had just been.
"Crossbow..." Sora mumbled.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora stared at the arrow before looking into the night, eyes narrowing.

[Strega]

He threw the waterball into the air, it turned into a lightning bolt, lighting the area around them breifly.

[Kitty_Chan]

She looked around, not seeing anything. She then saidsomething in her mind as an owl landing on her shoulder before she whispered to it and it flew off.

[Strega]

"That's why it was so quiet. We were being stalked."

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora nodded, looking around, waiting for any signal from her owl.

[Strega]

Even Sora was on edge. Fear in his eyes, a warrior mask on.

[Kitty_Chan]

She tried hard to listen, but the night was silent.

[Strega]

Jack stayed out of the owl's way, watching it soar straight past him.


Sora just listened.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora looked around before sliding off the caravan, halting the horses. She then knelt down, trying to feel any vibrations.

[Strega]

Sora covered his ears, "Stop yelling at me..."

[Kitty_Chan]

She blinked, breaking her concentraion and looking at Sora.

[Strega]

"The trees. They're screaming... They never scream.... I-I-I can't understand them....."

[Kitty_Chan]

She turned her back from the forest, resting her hands on the caravan. "Try to tune them out, Sora."

[Strega]

"I-I can't.... It's too loud...." he was getting a major headache.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora jumped back one the caravan, resting her forehead against his and concentrating. She winced, hearing the screams, trying to make out what they were saying.

[Strega]

"Don't." he pulled away.

[Kitty_Chan]

"Why?" She asked, staring at him.

[Strega]

He gave her a weak smile, "I don't like it when you're in pain. And I know this hurts."

[Kitty_Chan]

She glared at him. "That's a pretty dumb reason. I can help you; I know how."

[Strega]

"It's okay...."

[Kitty_Chan]

She eyed him for a moment before looking back into the night.

[Strega]

"He's walking..." Sora whispered, "I can't tell you which way or where from, but he's moving."

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora blinked before jumping off the caravan again and closing her eyes as she placed a hand on the ground. She began to concentrate, feeling for even the lightest vibrations.

[Strega]

"Call your owl back."

[Kitty_Chan]

She muttered something and it flew towards them, landing on the caravan. Aurora continued concentrating, suddenly feeling a vibration.

[Strega]

"I just wish he'd get out of the woods..."

[Kitty_Chan]

"..." She didn't respond as she felt the vibration. Aurora began to follow it, trying to guess where it would be.

[Strega]

Sora followed.

[Kitty_Chan]

She stopped, looking around. She didn't feel anything anymore.

[Strega]

Sora started running, "Follow!"

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora looked back at the way she had been going before following Sora.

[Strega]

"He's a fast, and light, runner. Remember, he also dabbles with magik so he can make roots move with the wait of a human."

[Kitty_Chan]

"Right..." She looked behind her, seeing nothing.

[Strega]

"Watch out for the log." he jumped it easily.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurors slowed to a walk, stepping over it. She just walked, setting a spell over herself and staring downward.

[Strega]

Sora stopped on a dime. Seeing Jack, standing and grinning.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora stopped, staring down before looking up, emotionless.

[Strega]

Sora winced as the trees got louder. He was happy they weren't in water, at least trees had deep voices, water had high pitched squeals.

She stared at Jack, blankly, almost as if he was no one.

"Well, the lovers finally figured it out." Jack grinned.
"What is it with everyone and calling us lovers?!" Sora growled.

She continued staring, feeling as though the ground below her feet was gone. Jack smirked at her, but she didn't seem to notice.

[Strega]

Sora's knees wobbled, then buckled, falling and screaming in pain. He held his sides, letting his forehead touch the ground.

Jack laughed maniacally(????) as Aurora stared forward. She knelt down beside Sora, touching his head as her hand began to glow.

[Strega]

"Ow, ow, ow..." a sudden pain spread around his head. It felt like something was crushing his skull slowly.

Aurora closed her eyes, listening to the screams. She then opened her eyes slightly, chanting softly.

"Quiet elf!" Jack threw a ball of fire at her.
Sora lifted his hand and it turned into the most harmless thing he could thank of, rose petals.

Aurora finished chanting, hearing nothing more from the forest. She slowly stood, eyes still closed.

[Strega]

Jack just watched the two.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora shot her eyes open, glaring at Jack.
"What have you been planning, Scythe?" She snapped as he smirked.

[Strega]

"What do you mean? He doesn't have the brains to plan anything." Sora mumbled.
"Quiet, child!" Jack growled.

[Kitty_Chan]

Her eyes narrowed. "Sora. None of your remarks." She ordered, still glaring at Jack. "Answer my question."
"Why do you care so badly?" He smirked.

[Strega]

Sora glared, but kept his mouth shut. Images of his sister and his parents filled his head.

[Kitty_Chan]

She continued glaring. "You're planning on tearing the forest down... Aren't you?"
He just smirked as she tightened her grip on her blades.

[Strega]

"That's why they're screaming at me..." Sora groaned.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora's hands began to shake with anger. "You..."
"Come now. I'm a human. Humans don't care of such unimportant things." Jack smirked. "After all, once we tear the forest down, we can finally rid of your race."

[Strega]

"HEY!!! I do to care! And they deserve a life too!!" Sora grumbled.

[Kitty_Chan]

"Why do you care so much on killing my race, Scythe?" She snapped as he shrugged.
"I don't know." He smirked, obviously lying.

[Strega]

The urge to lunge at his uncle and nail him was killing Sora.

[Kitty_Chan]

"Is it because you fear us?" She asked. "You're afraid that we'll take over... right?"
His eyes narrowed.

[Strega]

The pressure on Sora's head began, he didn't let it show on his face.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora glared at Jack, who glared as well.
"Fear? Of course not. Humans have better technology..." He reached behind him before pulling out a revolver. ".... Like these."
She blinked, staring at it with confusion and a sense of curiosity.

"No..." Sora stared at the metal, then stepped in front of Aurora, "BASTARD!!!"

[Kitty_Chan]

"Sora.." She blinked, whispering. "... What is that?"
"Ah yes. Elves do not know of guns." Jack smirked, noticing a raccoon nearby. "Let me show you, pathetic elf." He shot the raccoon, kiiling it instantly as Aurora covered her ears, wincing before her eyes widened at the dead animal.

[Strega]

Sora just stared at it. Just his luck.

[Kitty_Chan]

"So..." Jack continued. "I'm trying to figure out who shall die first. It could be the elf and have you suffer, boy, but then that marking of hers would be wasted." He smirked as Aurora felt her back, the mark seeming to burn.

[Strega]

Sora glared at him, "Don't...." The word 'Please...' went through his mind.

[Kitty_Chan]

"Then again, I could kill you, boy, take the elf's powers, and kill her race." Jack smirked as she growled. "The only downside is that you don't suffer, and that just isn't right." He loaded the gun. "So, I'm thinking about injuring you, taking her powers, letting you watch her die, then killing you. How does that sound?"

[Strega]

His eyes softened, "Please....." he whispered.

[Kitty_Chan]

"Please? That won't work on me, boy." Jack snapped, aiming it at Sora. "I'm not kind."
Aurora stared, feeling helpless for the first time in her life.

[Strega]

He closed his eyes, 'Damnthis sucks...' he reopened them.

[Kitty_Chan]

Jack pulled the trigger...


....But nothing happened.
He blinked looking at it. Vines came in and out of it, holding the bullet in place. He growled at Aurora, who smirking, revealing a bamboo straw.
"Funny how the sped up process of growing works..."

[Strega]

Sora sighed half thankfully, "I can't use the leaf element anymore..." he mumbled.

[Kitty_Chan]

She smiled at him. "You should be happy. I looked into your mind and found out how to do that."
Jack growled, throwing the gun aside.

[Strega]

"Believe me, I am. Those things hurt if they don't kill you." Sora sighed.

[Kitty_Chan]

"What's you plan now, Scythe?" Aurora smirked. "Go home and think of something better to do?"
He growled at her, a deep look of hate on his face.

[Strega]

"And forget about your forest idea. Too many mages live out here. They won't let you."

[Kitty_Chan]

Jack smirked. "Do you think you've really won?"
"It looks like it." She stated.
"Just think of that when you TRY to go back home." He smirked as her eyes widened.

[Strega]

"I don't think we've won yet...."

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora growled. "What did you do?"
"Not me. My army." He smirked. "They already reached your precious city. I'm thinking that it's just a pile of ash by now."

[Strega]

"No......" Sora glared.

[Kitty_Chan]

"Yep. Happened, says, two days ago."
Aurora's eyes widened with anger as she charged at him.
"I'LL KILL YOU!!!" She slashed at him as he jumped out of the way, preparing some fire balls.

"Don't try it, girlie!" he moved, creating a sheild.

[Kitty_Chan]

She growled, shooting razor leaves at him from all angles.

[Strega]

The sheild moved to help him.
Sora thought, then through a fireball at him, the sheild cacthing fire from behind, "The front's slicked with water!" he told Aurora.

[Kitty_Chan]

She nodded before punching the ground, spikes shooting up all around Jack as she shot many stone through the air.

[Strega]

"Shut up boy!" Jack threw a dagger at Sora too fast for him to protect himself.
Sora winced, "Ouch..."

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora gasped, turning away from Jack as she tried to put up a protective wall before the dagger reached Sora.

[Strega]

It put it off track, skimming his sleeve, cutting his arm.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora sighed, relieved before she spun around, preparing to attack Jack again.

[Strega]

Jack frowned, "Stop preventing the inevitable, elf."
'I can't move...' Sora frowned.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora smirked. "Why should I? Even if you THINK it's going to happen, I'm not gonna let it." She looked back at Sora. "You okay?"

[Strega]

"He's paralyzed. He can only change his expression." Jack grinned.

[Kitty_Chan]

She growled, backing up towards Sora before she was right beside him. "Just hang on for a bit, Sora."

[Strega]

Sora rolled his eyes, 'I can't go anywhere...'
"You can't help him elf. Not without my help." Jack grinned.
'DON'T!'

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora stared at Jack for a moment. "You really are dumb."
'Sora, I'm not going to trust him. I'm smarter than that.' She told him. 'Try to speak to me telapathically.'

[Strega]

'I'd love myself to be able to talk. It's hard to breath and I have a bad headache...'
"Now, now children. What are you discussing?" Jack glanced at Sora.

[Kitty_Chan]

'You're still able to breath, right? If not, I'm pretty limited to my actions.' "Sora and I are just talking about how much of an idiotic baffoon of a human you are, and why you're the sadest creature ever to have been conceived." Aurora snapped at him.

[Strega]

'Stop insulting him! It's getting harder...' Sora's mouth opened.
Jack grinned, "I doubt that."

[Kitty_Chan]

'Sorry...' "What do you want, Scythe?" She asked, annoyed. "What about us justs angers you?"

[Strega]

"Two, I've always hated him, and you're an elf. One, you know exactly what I want, seeing as to how you had me all figured out earlier." Jack grinned.

Aurora growled, thinking of her next move.
'Sora...'

[Strega]

'Let him kill me, just kill him!' Sora growled in his mind.

[Kitty_Chan]

She began to think rapidly. 'I... can't...' She looked down at the back of her hand, sighing.
"You win, Scythe." She dropped her twin blades.

[Strega]

'No, damnit!' Sora tried to move, mad that he couldn't.
"Good girl." Jack grinned.

[Kitty_Chan]

'Sorry, Sora...'
Aurora began to walk to him, fists clenched. She stopped a few steps in front of him.

[Strega]

He knocked her out, "Unfortunately, I don't trust you." he picked her up, then picked Sora up.
'Aurora.....'

[Kitty_Chan]

'Yeah...?' She replied, though unconscious. 'I suppose I should thank Katari for teaching me my skills.... huh?'

[Strega]

'You shouldn't have agreed. You could've killed him...'

[Kitty_Chan]

'I know. I have a plan; It's just being messed around a little. Don't worry.'

[Strega]

'Promise me you won't let him kill you.'

[Kitty_Chan]

'I promise! He won't even get the chance to TOUCH me.'

[Strega]

'Okay....'

[Kitty_Chan]

'Don't worry! Geez, can't you trust me on this one?'

[Strega]

'I guess....'

'Ugh. I'm gonna slap you when this is all over.'

Jack tossed the two into a caravan and climbed up front.
Sora groaned at the pain.
Jack glanced at him.

"..." Aurora remained motionless as she awakened.
'Sora! I'm awake! Alright, I gotta act unconcious, so try not to get yourself into trouble, kay?'

[Strega]

'I'm paralyzed, I can't get into trouble!'

[Kitty_Chan]

'I just HEARD you groan! I think it might be wearing off...'

[Strega]

'Well I can't move....'
