The Tale of Lynia

[Strega]

They hit a bump. Sora's head banged against the floor.

[Kitty_Chan]

'.... Ha ha.... Geez, I'm trying so hard not to laugh...'

[Strega]

'That hurt....'

[Kitty_Chan]

'Ha- wait.... you're PARALIZED... You're not supposed to feel....!'

[Strega]

'I feel....'

[Kitty_Chan]

'Okay, now just STAY down. Pretend you can't feel...'

[Strega]

'Easy for you to say...'

[Kitty_Chan]

'Ehe... yeah... Hey, do me a favor. It won't seem weird if your eyes are open. Can you tell me if your uncle is watching us? I need to do something....'

[Strega]

'He isn't.'

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora rolled over a bit as they hit a bump. 'Good...' She looked up at Jack before pulling off her right glove and then a dagger. She began to cut onto the back of her hand.

(( gotta go! my dad's kicking me off ))

[Strega]

((Okayz, byes!))


'What're you doing?!'

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora bit her lip, trying not to wince.
'Just.... putting.... the finishing touches.... in my plan.....'

[Strega]

Sora just watched.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora finished, grabbing a blanket and absorbing the blood before slipping her glove back on.
'Done.'

[Strega]

'Okay....'

[Kitty_Chan]

She clenched her fist, biting her lip while trying to hide the pain. 'Ow... I hope this works....'

[Strega]

'Me too...'

[Kitty_Chan]

'....' Aurora closed her eyes, thinking and going over her plan.

[Strega]

Sora closed his eyes.

[Kitty_Chan]

'... Where ARE we?'

[Strega]

'He's lost....'

[Kitty_Chan]

'.............................................Oh my gosh.....' XD

[Strega]

Sora tried not to laugh.

[Kitty_Chan]

'Ooooh... I got an idea....' She began to speak with Tara and Lia, who stood on their hind legs before running as fast as they could.

[Strega]

"Hey! Slow down!!!" Jack growled, tugging the reins.

[Kitty_Chan]

They jerked to stop as quick as they could, trying to throw Jack forward.

[Strega]

It succeeded.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora sat up, not able to hold in her laugh anymore. She waved from the back to Jack, who was falling behind them.
"Toodles!"

[Strega]

A grunt escaped Sora's mouth as he couldn't breath.
"Forget about something?!" Jack yelled.

[Kitty_Chan]

"Right..." Aurora looked at Sora before jumping off the caravan and running at Jack full speed, taking off her glove to reveal her new spell. She prssed it against Jack's forehead, a light coming from both.

[Strega]

Sora laid on the floor of the caravan. He started seeing double.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora pulled away, smiling.
"Ha ha! Now your powers are MINE!" She sang, waving a hand at Sora, allowing him to breath. "I didn't think it would actually work!"

[Strega]

Sora started coughing, "Couldn't you have done that sooner?!"

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora glared at him. "Yeah... I can do that whenever I want..." She turned back to Jack, wagging a finger. "Ya see, when you put this curse on me, I always wondered: Can I make one that reverses it? So, I marked it into MY hand and just did to you what you were gonna do to me!"

[Strega]

Jack was slightly confused.
"Let's go." Sora said.

[Kitty_Chan]

"Sure!" She smiled before blinking. "Hey... I wonder what else I can do..." She then got an evil smirk just thinking about things.

[Strega]

"Don't even." Sora backed away.

[Kitty_Chan]

"Whaaaaat?" She smirked playfully.

[Strega]

"Get on the caravan and keep your spells to yourself."

[Kitty_Chan]

"Fine, fine." Aurora blinked before pointing at Jack. "What about him?"

[Strega]

"Knock him out or something." Sora shrugged.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora ignored him. "Hey, Scythe! Now that I have your powers, why don't you tell me some of them?"

[Strega]

Jack just glared at her.
"Come on Aurora. We need to check on your home!" Sora reminded her.

[Kitty_Chan]

She waved at Sora, still facing Jack. "You know, Scythe. We can do this either the hard or easy way. You could easily tell me the powers, or I could just test anything I can think of on you."

[Strega]

"I'll die before I tell the likes of you!" Jack glared.
"I think she's serious...." Sora blinked.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora sighed, stomping the ground so vines tied Jack up. "Wow... where to start..."

[Strega]

"Can't this wait." Sora growled. He was more worried about the Queen ((or princess or whatever she was.)) then he wanted to show.

[Kitty_Chan]

"Fine, fine." She snapped, walking towards him. "You're lucky I'm not the jealous type..."

[Strega]

"Throw him in the back or something, we can't just leave him lying there." Sora sighed, shaking his head, "That's littering...."

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora glared at him. "Don't tell me what to do! YOU do it!"

[Strega]

"You want to keep it. Don't get snappy."

[Kitty_Chan]

"No way! I don't want it! Let's just toss it somewhere; Ants'll eat it or something."

[Strega]

"Okay...." Sora blinked.

[Kitty_Chan]

She hopped up on the caravan, going to the front angrily.

[Strega]

Sora waited patiently.

[Kitty_Chan]

The horses began to walk away from Jack as Aurora glared forward.

[Strega]

Sora leaned back a little.

[Kitty_Chan]

She sat at the very edge, trying to look into the distance for any smoke.

[Strega]

"There won't be any smoke. If we're lucky, they kept some people alive..... If we're lucky..."

[Kitty_Chan]

"Yeah..." 'Lucky.' She thought sarcastically to herself.

[Strega]

"I heard that."

[Kitty_Chan]

"Good." Aurora muttered.

[Strega]

"Grouchy."

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora ignored his last comment, still staring forward.

[Strega]

Sora shifted his gaze to the ground. He felt so awkward.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora stared at the marked hand, sighing.
"That's three unwanted marks from him..." Shr muttered angrily.

[Strega]

"..." Sora remained silent, knowing he had more then just three.

[Kitty_Chan]

She slipped her glove back on, looking down.

[Strega]

"..." for once, he had nothing to say.

[Kitty_Chan]

"... Silent? That's not like you." Aurora stated, looking at him.

[Strega]

He shrugged.

[Kitty_Chan]

She glared at him.

[Strega]

He went to the back of the caravan.

[Kitty_Chan]

"Yeah. My glare's not gonna be able to get you from there."

[Strega]

He nodded.

[Kitty_Chan]

She opened her mouth to say something but turned aorund and stared forward instead.

[Strega]

He layed down, anger rising at himself.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora stared forward, watching the horses trot along and kick up dirt.

[Strega]

He soon fell asleep, nightmares haunting him.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora sighed before leaning back a little, staring at the palm of her hand. She thought for a moment before gasping as she created a fire ball. She waved her hand around, putting it out.

[Strega]

Sora=asleep.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora then made a water ball before looking at Sora.
"...."
SPLASH!!!!

[Strega]

He bolted up and fell off, "Ouch!"

[Kitty_Chan]

She just stared at where he once was.

[Strega]

He rubbed the back of his head, then flinched, "Ow..."

[Kitty_Chan]

She turned back around, staring forward again.

[Strega]

He stood and got back on.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora closed her eyes, saying nothing as she heard him get back on.

[Strega]

He laid down and curled up again.

[Kitty_Chan]

She stared at the ground, sadly yet angrily.

[Strega]

He fell back asleep, into the same nightmare.

[Kitty_Chan]

She glanced at him, staring at him for a bit, unsure of what to do.

[Strega]

Asleep=Sora.

[Kitty_Chan]

"... Wake Up!" Aurora snapped at him.

[Strega]

He didn't move or stir.

[Kitty_Chan]

She growled, throwing another water ball at his face.

[Strega]

It didn't wake him.

[Kitty_Chan]

She stared at him, angrily for a moment before turning back around.

[Strega]

Asleep he stayed.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora looked up, wondering how she didn't care of her city.
'Too many bad memories, I guess....'

[Strega]

Sora rolled over, a haunted expression on his face.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora looked at him again with some worry. She crawled over to him, shaking him.
"Wake up."

[Strega]

"No, please don't..." he pulled away in his sleep.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora glared a bit before rolling him over on his stomach.
"Wake UP!"

[Strega]

He flinched when he woke up.

[Kitty_Chan]

"Why are you ignoring me and not talking to me?" She snapped.

[Strega]

He stared at her for a few seconds.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora stared back, still glaring.

[Strega]

"I-I'm.... sorry I keep screwing up...." he averted his gaze to the ground.

[Kitty_Chan]

"... What are you talking about?" She blinked.

[Strega]

He shook his head and sat up.

[Kitty_Chan]

She glared at him again. "Why are you barely speaking to me anymore?"

(( i gotta go. Night! ))

[Strega]

"Nothing to say."


((Night!))

[Kitty_Chan]

"So you have NOTHING to say to me?" She snapped, eyes narrowing.

[Strega]

"What am I supposed to say?! I'll do whatever it takes to keep you happy?! I swear my life to you?! What, Aurora, what?!" he snapped back.

[Kitty_Chan]

"No. But you could at least speak to me more often instead of just shrugging or nodding or whatever! You make it seem lke you're hiding something!" Aurora continued glaring.

[Strega]

"I'm sorry if I'm in a bad mood!" he huffed, crossing his arms and looking away.

[Kitty_Chan]

"WHY are you in a bad mood?" She demanded. "You have to have some reason!"

[Strega]

"Maybe it's the fact that I just nearly died of suffication, almost got shot, almost lost... lost.. lost...." he looked at her, then the ground and whispered, "You..."

[Kitty_Chan]

She sighed looking at him. "Maybe. But you DIDN'T die, you DIDN'T get shot, and I DIDN'T die....."

[Strega]

"Stress! You might not have it, but I do! Didn't's don't mean anything when it comes to that, my nerves are going haywire and I can't sleep without getting nightmares!" he panted having said that all in one breath.

[Kitty_Chan]

"Then don't sleep! Take time to think about what happened and repeat it over and over until you get over it."

[Strega]

"I'm only human." he wiped tears away, "I'm not you. I can't do it all."

[Kitty_Chan]

Why?" She asked. "I've seen you do things I KNOW humans could never do.... Why can't you do one thing that'll help you for once?"

[Strega]

"I don't know..."

[Kitty_Chan]

She stared at him, sadly. "Have you tried before?"

[Strega]

He nodded, "Uh-huh. It just makes me feel worse." he hung his head.

[Kitty_Chan]

"Then do something that WON'T make you feel bad. I don't know anymore..."

[Strega]

He hugged her.

[Kitty_Chan]

She blinked before hugging him back.

[Strega]

'I hate being weak....'

[Kitty_Chan]

"Then get stronger." Aurora stated, hearing his thoughts.

[Strega]

"It's hard." his reply was muffled by her shoulder.

[Kitty_Chan]

"So is everything else in life."

[Strega]

"Can't something be easy?"

[Kitty_Chan]

"Of course not." She closed her eyes. "You have to earn your life and all the good things in it."

[Strega]

"Not just one simple thing can be easy?"

[Kitty_Chan]

"Nope." She shook her head. "At least, nothing I can think of."

[Strega]

He sighed.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora pulled away from him, smiling. "Come on. It's not THAT bad."

[Strega]

"Your uncle isn't trying to kill you." he laughed.

[Kitty_Chan]

"You're right. YOUR uncle is; not mine."

[Strega]

"Right. It's not your family."

[Kitty_Chan]

"It's still some creepy old guy who MURDURED my family." She shrugged. "It's still as bad."

[Strega]

He nodded.

[Kitty_Chan]

She sighed, turning around. "You can sleep if you want, but you'll have to take my stone if you do."

[Strega]

He shook his head.

[Kitty_Chan]

"Okay..." She smiled softly.

[Strega]

"I feel stupid." he mumbled.

[Kitty_Chan]

"How come?" She asked, blinking and holding back a joke.

[Strega]

"I'm crying and I'm acting like I'm two."

[Kitty_Chan]

"Only because you care and fret about everything too much."

[Strega]

He stuck his tounge out at her.

[Kitty_Chan]

She gawked. "What!?! I was being nice that time!"

[Strega]

He laughed, "You're so serious!"

[Kitty_Chan]

She huffed. "So what if I am?"

[Strega]

He smiled, "Nothing. I like it."

[Kitty_Chan]

She blinked. "Why? If you're so childish, I mean...."

[Strega]

"You're what I want to be."

[Kitty_Chan]

She stared at him, trying to stifle her laughter before letting it out.
"Yeah, I see why you would! You'll NEVER be as serious as I am!"

[Strega]

He smiled, "It's nice to hear you laugh."

[Kitty_Chan]

She immediatly stopped, blushing like wild before placing a hand over her mouth.

[Strega]

Sora rolled his eyes, grinning like an idiot, "What? Can't laugh?"

[Kitty_Chan]

"No!" Aurora snapped, muffled by her hand. "I just don't like people hearing me laugh...."

[Strega]

"It's pretty though." he pouted.

[Kitty_Chan]

"Is NOT!" She objected.

[Strega]

"Is too.."

[Kitty_Chan]

"Is not!!!"

[Strega]

"Too....."

[Kitty_Chan]

She shook her head before folding her arms.

[Strega]

"Please?" puppy pout face.

[Kitty_Chan]

"No! You can't make me like the things I hate about myself!"

[Strega]

"And I don't like me at all, you still try to get me to like what I don't."

[Kitty_Chan]

"That's different..."

[Strega]

"Is not.."

[Kitty_Chan]

"Now we're going in circles!"

[Strega]

He laughed.

[Kitty_Chan]

She rolled her eyes, annoyed.

[Strega]

He kissed her cheek, then whispered in her ear, "You know you love me!"

[Kitty_Chan]

She held the spot he had kissed, smiling. "Yep."

[Strega]

He grinned, and pulled away, "I win!"

[Kitty_Chan]

Her eye twitched. "Win WHAT?!?"

[Strega]

"I don't know!" he smiled.

[Kitty_Chan]

"Ugh...." She sighed.

[Strega]

He watched the trees go by.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora tapped her fingers on the wood of the caravan, boredly.

[Strega]

"So......"

[Kitty_Chan]

"Hm...?" She stared at the passing forest.

[Strega]

"I dunno!" a goofy grin was plastered to his face.

[Kitty_Chan]

She held a finger to his forehead, pushing against it. "You're so weird...."

[Strega]

He fell back slightly, still grinning.

[Kitty_Chan]

She smiled a bit, laying down on her back.

[Strega]

He closed his eyes.

[Kitty_Chan]

"... I think you ARE strong, Sora...."

[Strega]

"Not as strong as you...."

[Kitty_Chan]

"... Maybe I can teach you."

[Strega]

"Yeah... That's like trying to train a monkey to not be hairy..."

[Kitty_Chan]

"Fine then. Be weak your whole life. I don't care." She sniffled. "I was trying to help..."

[Strega]

"I'm not good at learning...."

[Kitty_Chan]

"Psh. I know you. I'LL actually be able to help you."

[Strega]

"Are you sure you know me all that well?"

[Kitty_Chan]

"Better than anyone else, I'm sure. Plus, I'm patient with you."

[Strega]

"Patient?" he raised an eyebrow, "Can you define that for me?"

[Kitty_Chan]

"Yeah." She sat up as well. "I was pretty damn patient for you to kiss me and all that crap."

[Strega]

"Ya' know, you coulda started it!!!"

((I'm half tempted to bring in something darker then Jack... But not as evil...))

"No!" Aurora snapped. "I wasn't sure at first! I had to wait and see!"

"And I was waiting for you to kill me!" he laughed.

Miho watched the caravan curiously, recognizing the human. She'd already bitten him once and frankly wanted more.


Sora shuddered, "Next time I'll keep my mouth shut..."

She smiled. "I'm just playing.... But I don't like being called cute.... I don't know why...."

[Strega]

"Well, it is." he had a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach, and his neck was starting to hurt.


Miho tilted her head to the side.

[Kitty_Chan]

She blushed a little, pushing him lightly. "Stop it...."

[Strega]

He rubbed his neck, looking around, "Okay, are you creeped out to, because if the horses suddenly stop, I'm screaming like a girl."

Miho restrained a laugh.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora blinked. "Scared? Of what? And what's wrong with your neck...?" She looked at it closely.

[Strega]

He moved his hand and shrugged, "It's been hurting since we left the fire elf place."

Miho followed, still silent.

[Kitty_Chan]

"Why?" She blinked, moving his hand. "Let me see...."

[Strega]

Two small pricks were left on his neck.


Miho grinned, she knew the elf would recognize the style. Spider's bites were closer together.

[Kitty_Chan]

Her eyes widened. "... When?" She asked, fearfully.

"That night...." he tried to remember, "I don't remember all the details, jsut a maid dropping off fruit..."


Miho smirked, 'He's good....'

"I'm going to get Flare for that...." She muttered under her breath.

[Strega]

"I'm not a maid. No need to get mad at her for it." Miho said aloud, throwing her voice.
Sora looked around.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora stared at her, eyes narrowed.

[Strega]

Sora recognized her.
"Sora, right?" she smiled at him.
He nodded, his eyes locked with her's.

"Who are you?" Aurora snapped at her.

[Strega]

"Miho." she said, leaving out the fact she was a vampire princess.
Sora was lost in a trance.

She blinked, looking at Sora before looking at Miho, glaring. "What do you want?" She demanded.

[Strega]

She looked at Aurora innocently, "What are you talking about?"
Sora felt himself drawn to Miho.

Her eyes narrowed. "Don't play innocent with me. Answer."

[Strega]

Miho just grinned as Sora started walking towards her.

[Kitty_Chan]

She stared, shocked at Sora before grabbing him by the back collar of his neck, growling before smacking him upside the head.
"Snap out of it, stupid!"

[Strega]

Sora's eyes went from glazed over to regular, they had a mixture of fear and curiousity.
"Sora." Miho coo'ed.
His eyes went back to glazed as he started to walk again.

[Kitty_Chan]

She growled.
'Sora, you no-good-dirty-rotten liar! I hate you!' She screamed in his mind.

[Strega]

Sora shook his head, "What? Gah, my head hurts!"
Miho sighed, "Elf, he's human. He can only handle so much..."

[Kitty_Chan]

"Well, then stop!" Aurora snapped, dragging Sora beside her. "He's MY human!"

[Strega]

"Oh, but I have a claim on him." Miho pointed at his neck, "But you've already seen that."
"Wha?" Sora blinked.
"You don't remeber, do you?"
Sora shook his head.

[Kitty_Chan]

Aurora gritted her teeth. "Too bad."

[Strega]

"Sora, your powers are limited in your current state. Come with me." Miho held out her hand.

[Kitty_Chan]

"Sora..." Aurora whispered, sadly. "... Please.... stay with me...."

[Strega]

"Sora...." Miho coo'ed again. ((lol, she cheats...))
His eyes glazed over.

"SORA!" She yelled, a bit of worry and sorrow in her voice.

[Strega]

((Hey, she's a bloodthirsty vampire, what'd you expect? A bunny petter?))

Miho grinned, "That's right. Come on, Sora."

((Note: She's also trying to make Aurora jealous, so not all comments are true. You'll understand later.))

She growled before shoving him towards Miho. "Fine...."

Sora stumbled and tripped.
Miho helped him up, "You sure you don't remeber it? You had quite a good time."

Aurora shuddered with disgust before covering her ears. "Please shut up.... I'm still innocent...."

"Aaaaw. You're no fun..." Miho grinned, stroking the flesh of Sora's neck, sending a shiver through his body.

She glared at Miho, hands still covering her ears.

Sora's went back to normal, but they held no life, 'Aurora... Help...'

'I can't.... She always somehow takes you back.....'
"I suppose I'll ask again; What are you here for besides taking Sora?" She asked.
