The Tale of Lynia

[Kitty_Chan]

This is an RP about elves and humans. The humans want to rule the all the land named Lynia , but the elves are fighting back. In the main elven city of Alana, the princess* ponders on what to do. They are the forest elves and need help from the fire and water elves, but no one is willing to take on the task. So, a group decides it is up to them and begin to make their way to the tribes. Along the way, they meet 2 human deserters and take them along the way. But, the leader of the human army knows about the group and tries to stop them.

*The princess is only in the beginning and end so someone can be her, too

Katari sighed, staring out the window. She could see smoke from the human's camp, but it was very far away. she got up and paced the floor, pondering on what she should do about the war.

Aurora sat on a river bank, splashing her feet in and out of the water. She whistled, bored. She had no family but had done very well on her own.

"My people!" Katari began. "We all know of the war, but we cannot fight it alone..." There were many murmurs.
"... So i'm asking that a group go seek the water and fire elves for help. it will not be easy, and there may be deaths. But i hope some will rise and join the group!" There was an uproaor of whispers and compliants, but Katari just went back into the catsl, tired.

Sora heard the sound of horns and fell to the ground. He was sure the others had changed their minds and were coming to hunt him down. He figured if they found him they'd leave him anyway. He was dying of starvation and things were getting distorted badly.

Aurora blinked upon hearing the announcment. Go to other tribes? That was suicide! Humans control everything! She thought. Auroro stood their, deciding whether to go or not. She looked over t where some council member were taking offers, No one was in line. Aurora nodded before running to them.

"Mn... What now?" Katari snapped. She gasped as two gaurds threw a human onto her floor. He just laid there, groaning. He looked starved and near death.
"Bring me some food and water. NOW!" She demanded and the two left to get what she ordered.

Aurora began packing her things into a small bag. All she needed was her brush, hair tyes and bands, and her crystal container her mother left her. Sighing, she slung it over her shoulder and made her way back to the castle.

Katari eyes Sora as he ate. "... Where did you come from? Are you with the humans?" She asked.

".... A small village. I'm not with them anymore. I was kicked out, those superstitious freaks got scared." Sora took a drink of water.

He opened his hand and a fireball appeared in it, "Black magik. My name's Sora. There's no need to keep it a secret. I have nothing left to lose but my life."

She stared at the magic. "... Humans are scared of that?" She placed a hand on the wooden floor and flowers began to sprout. "That is a requirment to elves." She sighed, sitting cross-legged. "How do i know you're not lying, tho?"

"Most of us are too selfish to give up food and water for almost a week, but I suppose I would need proof. I have none, though." Sora shrugged.

"hm..." Katari thought for a bit before pulliung out a small whistle and blowing it. A small squirrel came scurrying through the window and up to Katari.
"This is Ai. She is able to smell a liar a mile away." She set Ai next to Sora. She sniffed him before running up his arm and sitting on his shoulder.

You may or may not have company, buit you have no choice in doing this." She stared at him. "This is mandatory."

"anyway, I just made a speech about asking some people to volunteer and go on a secret mission to the water anf fire elves for help agianst the war." She put her arms behind her head, smiling. "And i trust you enough to ask you if you would go on behalf of the whole Elven race."

Aurora sighed, bored as she sat in the lounge. She was waiting for others, but so far no one was coming. Suddenly, she heard footsteps. She turned and looked, growling. Katari was walking with a human.

Aurora heard Sora snoring and huffed. Suddenly, she saw smoke in the direction they were going. She curse before makinga sharp turn to the right, going faster.

A great oak tree located in the heart of a forest, Cracked and burst into flames. Ayaka emerged from among the flames a free elf. She smirked and watched as the flames, Kill the tree, She was sealed in long ago. The flames danced on the tree and focused only on that tree, Not even spreading. Ayaka waved her hand and the flames died, Only leaving the ashes of the once great tree.

I WAS going to allow you to eat meat, but now i've changed my mind! it's no wonder you're an outcast to your own kind and don't have any friends! Who would want to be friends with someone who can't even thnk before he speaks?!?" She pulled out a dagger, threateningly. "The next smart-allic remark that slips from your mouth will be your last! I don't care what the princess says! Cutting out your useless tongue would be worth being tortured and killed for!"

Sora found himself giggling hyterically, not able to control it. The days without food and water had drove him near insanity and she was bringing him back to that small state, "You think I'm scared? Far from it."

Aurora smirked. "I knew you would say that..." She then took her dagger and cut Sora's cheek just enough to make it bleed. Blood oozed out and she held him up even more. "Maybe the humans didn't cast you out because of your magic? Maybe they realized that you were just insane and they were frightened that you would slit their throats in their sleep? Who knows? You can't be trusted. For all we know, you may just be a spy to assassinate the princess or kill all the elves." She then through him down, hard, on the ground. "I DON'T need you. I can go alone just as well, but I can't disobey my princess." With that said, she turned and yelled for the horses to go.

Aurora stifled her laughter before she began to laugh uncontrollably. She held her side, still laughing and covered her mouth with her other hand. She then looked at Sora.

Sora jumped down, his feet amazingly silent, "Don't know, could be a Banished Hut..."

"Banished hut?" She blinked, jumping down as well. "What's that?"

"Occasionally, one of the Banished, such as myself, survive and are able to make a hut in the woods. There not much for kindness to wandering humans, but to the elves...." Sora trailed off.
