[Midnight_Rain]

Athena laid Artemis back down and tucked her in. "Sweet dreams."
"No meat; anything green will do." She smiled knowing this would bother Nada.

Alexis sighed, "I..was listening to you talk to him." Her eyes went to their son, "I heard what you were saying and it scared me. It made me think of the ..old you." Her eyes watered, "Damien.."

[Strega]

Nada, who had been eaves dropping, made a whiney noise.
Sdna laughed quietly, "No problem."

Damien looked at her, "I don't want him to see that, or become that, and I'm willing to take any precautions neccassary to prevent that." he said seriously, meaning every word.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena winked, "Well Nada get to it! I can't cook." She giggled and started for the door, "I'm going to get a bottle."


Alexis burred her face into her hands, she looked sick. "Damien. It won't happen. You act like you might disappear..you won't will you?"

[Strega]

Nada grumbled as he started to, "I'm teaching Arty how to cook when she gets older...."
"Arty?" Sdna said curiously.
"Yes. It's Arty instead of Artemis..."

Damien shook his head, "I don't know. I can't promise anything."

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena laughed, "I like it." She shrugged, "He calls me Thena so I suppose it doesn't matter."


Alexis glared, "You won't. You can't. No." She shook her head, "I won't allow it."

[Strega]

Nada nodded sternly and started cooking.

Damien hugged her, "I'm making no promises, love.... Go have your tea, I'll be down in a minute."

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena sat down in the chair, her eyes droopy and tired. She yawned slightly.


Alexis shook her head, "No." She looked up stronger, but turned away for the door. "Hurry down."

[Strega]

Nada hummed as he cooked.

Damien made sure Apollo was safe, tucking mirrors away, closing blinds, turning out lights, silly things like that.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena sighed, "So.." She breathed, "Are we going to go to Damien's party?"


Alexis headed back to the kitchen, grabbing a tea cup, she sat down and poured her a little.

[Strega]

"Of course!" Nada said simply.
"If they want us there." Sdna's tone was almost like he was correcting Nada.

Damien smiled down on Apollo and stroked his cheek, "Good night...." and he left the room.

[Midnight_Rain]

"Why wouldn't they want us there?" Athena questioned.


Alexis sighed her forehead against the cold table.

[Strega]

"Damien doesn't like birthdays and chances are if they're throwing a party it's going to be a small one." Sdna answered.

Damien rubbed her back.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena sighed, "So? We're family. Besides..I wanna see their kid."

Alexis breathed in deeply and jumped slightly at his touch, not expecting it. She whispered something softly, it felt nice. She turned her head to the side to where her cheek was lying against the table.

[Strega]

"As do I, but we wouldn't like it if they showed up unexpectedly." Sdna said logically.
"I wouldn't mind." Nada piped up.
"That's you."

"You should sleep." Damien said quietly.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena smiled "I'm sure I can call Sora and let her know."

Alexis shook her head, "The last time I slept normally; you left." She blinked back tears.

[Strega]

"Then do that, but if he gets mad, I'm using nada as a human sheild." Sdna said coolly.
"No food for you!" Nada stuck his tongue out.

"I'm not going anywhere this time. You can have Sora baby-sit me if you want." Damien replied.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena laughed, "Eh we won't Nada, we'll just use that pretty cake you fixed me in the oven as a shield. I'm sure Damien will like the taste of icing instead of skin and blood."


Alexis sighed, "Fine only if she watches you."

[Strega]

Nada glanced at Sdna and Sdna shrugged.

Damien nodded, "She'll be more then happy to, I'm sure."

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena sighed, "Eh."


Alexis breathed, "Fine, let me just talk to Sora." She stood but stumbled. She grimaced at the sight of the leg of the table tripping her.

[Strega]

"Still... He gets no food!" Nada humphed.
"Fine, I'll go out." Sdna retorted.
"Does nothing faze you?!"
"I have Athena and Artemis, and I used to be Hell's Angel, do you really think your no food threat bugs me?"
Nada stayed silent.

"Sora!" Damien called and the girl promptly walked in.
She smiled, "Yes?"
"You have to baby-sit me."
"... Okay..."

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena just held the bridge of her nose, "You two can be so childish." She laughed and then smiled.


Alexis sighed and crossed her arms, "You..must make sure he doesn't leave."

[Strega]

"And you live with us!" Nada smiled.
"At least she loves me." Sdna teased.
"I'm poisoning your food...."

"Gotcha." Sora nodded with a serious look.
Damien sat on the couch and turned the TV on.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena sighed, "I love you all." she eyed Nada, "Your are in fact my new guardian, so I have a bond with you." Then her eyes were on Sdna, "And the bond I share with you should already be known."

Alexis smiled softly, "Good night everyone." She started slowly up the stairs. Her mind lost in that head of her's.

[Strega]

Sdna smiled, "Yup!"
Nada sighed, "Does that mean I'm not allowed to poison him?"

Sora looked at Damien, "You okay?"
"She... doesn't trust me with myself anymore, does she?" Damien murmered.
"Oh Dame, don't start thinking that...."

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena shook her head, "No Nada. Don't poison him, remember he's a father now." She laid back on the chair, and smiled at Sdna with rocking the chair off it's leg.


Alexis made it to the top, she stopped moving as she heard his words.

[Strega]

Nada sighed, "I suppose...."
Sdna paid no mind to Nada, knowing he wouldn't have done it anyway.

"She doesn't." Damien looked at Sora.
"She does. She just doesn't trust the.... other you. I trust you, but the minute I see the old you, I'm bolting." she replied, trying to get him to laugh.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena sighed and jumped as the chair fell backwards. She landed on her butt and groaned. A pouting expression overcame her face.

Alexis sighed slowly and gripped the bar of the staircase and headed for their room but found herself standing at the baby's room.

[Strega]

Both men started laughing. Sdna walked over to her and extended his hand, "You okay?"

Damien shrugged, "If you say so...."
Sora sighed.

Apollo was awake, playing with his toes.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena still pouted but couldn't keep it going from their expressions. She smiled and laughed, taking his hand.


Alexis walked in, she lifted him out of the crib into her arms.

[Strega]

Sdna pulled her up and into his arms, hugging her.

Apollo giggled and reached for her even as he was held.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena was a bit surprised, she blushed hotly and smiled. "Thanks Sdna."

Alexis looked around smiling, "My little one.." She whispered into his ear. "You're very beautiful. Oh Apollo..what'll I do? Should I just leave..? Hmm?" She kissed his forehead.

[Strega]

"I miss hugging you." Sdna said happily.

"Nn!" Apollo murmered strongly. But he was delighted to be held by her, his fingers played with her hair.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena laughed, "You can hug me anytime you wish."

Alexis sighed and hummed a soft tone to him. "Apollo." She said his name smoothly. "I haven't held you much.."

[Strega]

"You've just been so busy and the last time you were busy and I tried to talk to you, you nearly bit my head off..." Sdna replied.

Apollo giggled and played with his toes.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena laid her head down. "Oh I see. I'm sorry about that. Do you have something to tell me now?"

Alexis breathed and exhaled. "Good night my little Apollo.." She laid his small head back down.

[Strega]

Sdna shook his head, "Nope."

Apollo made a whiney noise.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena reached up and kissed his cheek. "There. We're okay now."

Alexis sighed and walked back to Apollo, "I've got to go to bed. Damien wants me too. Don't want to upset..dad.."

[Strega]

Sdna nodded, "Yup."

Apollo made something resembling a sigh and closed his eyes.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena smiled and pulled away from him, "I'm going to go see what's on TV."

Alexis brushed a little strand of hair from his forehead. She kissed him and walked from the room.

[Strega]

Sdna nodded, "okay"

Damien flipped to the news.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena walked to the living room, and plopped down on the couch.

Alexis sighed and walked into the bedroom, her eyes turned to the photos on the wall and her mind soared to the past of that first night she came here. ....

[Strega]

Nada brought her a plate of food.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena nodded and smiled, "What did you cook tonight?" Her eyes were wide with satisfaction, the smell of it was literally mouthwatering.

[Strega]

"Just taste it." Nada laughed, "What, don't trust me?"
Sdna nodded, "Don't trust you at all."

[Midnight_Rain]

"While I know you wouldn't poison me.. I'm hoping there is no meat in this." she made a face and took a fork and took a bite. Her eyes lit up and a dreamy smile pushed on her lips.

[Strega]

Nada smiled, "Made it up as I went along and 0% meat!"
Sdna took a bite and nodded, "Very good..."

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena laughed, "I love it!" She approved. After a few minutes she went and got more. Her eyes twinkling.

[Strega]

Nada laughed as he saty down with his.
Sdna turned up the volume, "Hey, listen to this."
"And in other news, Ray Manora, a well to-do 17 year-old was found dead today in his apartment. At first it was a suspected suicide, but carved into the wall with a mysterious object was a mesage that has yet to be released to the press. The police don't have any clues so far and are asking anyone with any information to please come forward....."

((Ergh. My internet is acting up, sorry it took so long...))

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena's eyes observed the screen, she didn't take another bite until the story was over, "That sounds oddly, supernatural." She commented taking a slow glance at Sdna. "It's a bit frighting as well."

[Strega]

Sdna nodded and stood, going to check on Artemis.

Damien had just finished listening to it and was going to check on Apollo, Sora in tow.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena sighed and relaxed, "I'm full thanks Nada." She winked, "I'll have to cook something for you sometime. Even though I can't cook." She laughed, "Does a strawberry shake sound good?"

Alexis was fast asleep under the covers, her body in a ball-like state.

[Strega]

Sdna sighed in relief, seeing the small child still asleep.
Nada nodded, "Sounds good."

Damien looked in to see the awake child. He laughed nervously and picked Apollo up, "You just don't like to sleep, do you? What do you say about checking in on Mommy?"
Apollo made a content noise and Damien started towards his and Alexis's room.

[Midnight_Rain]

"Now what type of poison do you prefer with shakes?" She laughed a bit uneasy at her own joke and smiled, "I'm just kidding."


Alexis held the pillow over her head and held her knees close together. Her body was comfortably wrapped by her arms and the blanket held over her like a protective embrace. Her long purple locks peeked out from underneath the pillow.

[Strega]

Nada thought, "..... The poisonous kind!" he laughed.

Sdna stroked Artemis's cheek gently, hoping to not wake her.

Damien opened the door to Alexis's room and smiled softly, gently bouncing Apollo, "See? Mommy sleeps like you should, hard and barely visable." he whispered.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena giggled, "Eh nah strawberries should be enough." She grinned wickedly.


Alexis groaned slightly and twisted, her head moving the pillow away from her and it tumbled onto the floor. She didn't awaken. A straight face was her expression. The kind you see like a poker's face; letting no emotion travel. Yet her mouth opened and her gleaming vampire teeth were shown. She growled playfully and a little bit of color blushed onto her cheeks. Her long hair became a jungle of strands in her hands. It almost look chaotic, like it was when she was in the asylum where Damien used to work.

[Strega]

Nada laughs.
Sdna covers Artmis up and quietly leaves the room.

Damien tilts his head and frowns, sadness filling his eyes.
Apollo senses it and starts to squirm.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena then shivered unexpectedly. "Hmm.." She looked around the room a dumb clueless look formed in her eyes. "I have a bad feeling.."


Alexis squirmed when Apollo did, she jerked upwards at the baby's movements. Her dark gold eyes frantically looking around in the darkness. She looked to Damien, her eyes full of her own shame from her show. She looked down, angry. Her hands were still wrapped around her hair in a tight hold. "Damien.." Her voice was strong. "I'm sorry." She stood her nightgown going to her knees. "You shouldn't have saw..that nightmare." She gulped at the word for that is what it truly was. She walked to him, "And Apollo shouldn't have either. I'm truly sorry."

[Strega]

Sdna entered the room, "What now?"
Nada tilted his head to the side, "Hn?"

Damien shook his head, smiling, "It's okay. You've seen sides of me no one should see."
Apollo just reached out toward Alexis.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena shook her head, "It was nothing, just a chill." She nodded to them both and crossed her arms. "Nothing to worry about." She shushed the topic away.

Alexis smiled at Apollo, "Are you going to be a mama's boy?" She laughed and took his small finger around her fist slightly. "Mommy's tired and you should be too." She laughed and kissed his cheek in a touch of affection.
"Dame I think we really need to ..talk." She sighed her form going from loving to stressed. She clamped her jaw shut tensely.

[Strega]

((Sorry it took so long had to do groceries.))

"Okay." They said in unison.

"I'll lay him down." Damien did so and then went back to their room.

((Poo. I have to go now too....))

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena nodded and laughed.

Alexis shyly moved to the bed. "Dame what's been bothering you so badly..? You've noticed my problem. Obviously I can't trust an inner part of yourself." She sighed.

[Strega]

Sdna got another plate of whatever it was Nada had made and took a seat on the couch.
Nada wasn't too far behind Sdna, fork in his mouth.

Damien sat next to her, "I'm nervous. About... Alot of things...."

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena sighed, "Murder, crimes, more murder, suicidal attempts, whatever happened to politics on the news?" She rolled her eyes.

Alexis nodded as if she understood, "Can you tell why you're nervous?"

[Strega]

Sdna laughed short and harsh, "Once it is politics, they don't tell you the things you want to know."
Nada nodded, "They never have any good news...."

Damien shrugged, "Various insecurities."

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena sighed, "How monotonous, I feel like we need to spark some fun in this town." She blew a black bang from her eyes with her solid breath. Her head rested in a cup of her hands.


Alexis shook her head at his answer, "There's another reason..please tell me why?" Her eyes were intent on getting the answer.

[Strega]

Sdna smirked, "I'm not allowed to...."
Nada sighed, "Oh poo, that's no fun."

"They want me back...." Damien was staring into space, his eyes glazed over as if he wasn't all there.

Athena rose her head, "Yeah, but I'm allowed. I'm a goddess I'll do what I please." She scoffed, an evil look laid on her lips.

Alexis could only choke back the hystaria, "What?" Her voice grew upset. She shivered at the thought of the place, the hell hole. Her fingers were winding up the covers, the material giving away at her strength. Her eyes flashed an angry black. She looked away from him, not wanting him to see her black form. Her skin lost it's color, her chest rose and fell to a very tense rhythm.

[Strega]

Sdna pouted, "You get to have all the fun and I'm stuck raising the baby....."
"What a turn of events. This is normally the other way around." Nada laughed.

Damien looked at her, "Calm down, babies are sensitive to the things going on around them. It's not healthy for either of you."

Athena gave a blank look, "Fine." She sighed and laid back down hard against the couch.

Alexis tried to control the bubble of emotions inside. When she thought she had control she realized she hadn't been breathing. "Damien please don't go back to that..place." She winced at calling it a place, when it was obviously a world of pain, it shouldn't be even considered a place..for who would want to go to such a place?

[Strega]

Sdna laughed, "Just kidding, "Go have some fun, you deserve it."
"So confusing." Nada smiled ^.^

Damien looked at her, then looked away, "Then I need to find a job. We can only last so long on what I'd saved....."

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena laughed and shook her head, "What fun would it be without you?"


Alexis sighed, "I'll fine a job then. You..don't have to go back to that place. I don't want you too. ..I don't want to remember." Her fingers were rubbing a scar up on her shoulder. "The reason I don't sleep anymore isn't because of you leaving. I have dreams of ..the needle's pricks. The feeling of burning lights. The..feeling of fire."

[Strega]

Sdna laughed, "I'm sure Nada can match up."

Damien hugged her, "I'll find something..... I promise...."

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena smiled, "Nah I probably shouldn't teach Artemis the ways of destruction."

Alexis breathed in his scent and it relaxed her. "..Are you sure?" She whispered. "What if we..have no choice?" Her eyes grew grim.

Sdna nodded, "True."

Damien smiled, "There's always another choice."

Athena huffed, and thought.


Alexis nodded, "I suppose.." She looked away, "Yet if there isn't any choice. Go work there..but if you do please don't be to hard on the patients. Aden going to kill me for saying this."

[Strega]

"You could always give them a nice mind fu.ck to start their day...." Sdna suggested.

Damien nodded, "Will do, but this means you're going to have to trust me."

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena blinked at Sdna and shrugged, "Yeah. That sounds a little amusing."

Alexis sighed, "I know."

[Strega]

"Depending on how you go at it." Sdna nodded, from experiance.

"And I'm going to have to trust me." Damien admitted.

Athena looked up a bit clueless, "What do you mean?"

Alexis blinked, "You don't trust yourself?"

[Strega]

"I've always been one to make them paranoid, for example,. Take their fear, the rational one, and throw it in there face.

"No." Damien laughed harshly.

"Hmm I like that." She smiled.

Alexis frowned at his laughter, "Then I'm just going to have to trust in you to trust yourself trusting yourself."

Sdna grinned, "As do I."

Damien laughed much brighter, "Of course."

Athena grinned.

Alexis smiled calmly, "I'm speaking the truth."

Sdna hugged her and kissed her forehead.

Damien nodded, "I know...."

Athena smiled softly, "I love you too much."


Alexis nodded, "It's settled then." She straightened her posture. Her eyes looking away to the closed up window.

Sdna smiled, "Love you too."

Damien nodded, "Settled..."

Athena sighed and sunk into the couch, and didn't notice anything else. It looked like she was being swallowed up by the velvet material, but she didn't notice, she was in a relaxed, tranquil state.

Alexis looked back and smiled, "Well I'm guessing that was the hard part of the conversation, anything else bothering you?"

[Strega]

Sdna smiled.
Nada blinked, and had the urge to tackle her and kiss her cheek in a brotherly way.

Damien smiled, "Normal fatherly things I guess."

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena felt the black hole of a couch start to dissolve under neath her and she fell asleep quicker than you could say..jack.

Alexis nodded, "I'm having the same problem." She flushed with embarrassment.

[Strega]

Sdna got a blanket and covered her up with a smile. He kissed her forehead.

Damien laughed, "At least I'm not the only one."

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena squirmed into a small little ball and a peaceful expression stared on her lips.


Alexis nodded, "Yet I think it's normal."

[Strega]

Sdna raised an eyebrow as the couch threatened to swallow her whole. He pulled her out just enough so she was still allowed to breathe.

"That's good." Damien nodded.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena laughed, an evil mocking sound in her sleep...

Alexis smiled, "Dame.." She whispered his name carefully.

[Strega]

"Even in her sleep." Nada chuckled.
"She's a pistol." Sdna laughed softly.

"Hm?" Damien looked at her.

Athena growled and it sounded playful. She twisted again on the couch.

Alexis breathed and then shook her head, worry splattered. "Never mind."

[Strega]

Sdna raised an eyebrow.

Damien wrapped an arm around her, "Talk to me. We're in this together, remember?"

[Midnight_Rain]

A girlish giggle now and her fingers clamped down on the couch. She muttered something.

Alexis breathed and found herself getting hot. "What if something goes wrong?" She blabbed, "What happens if something happens to one of us? He'll be alone! He'll have Sora and Aden..still!" She was shaking.

[Strega]

Sdna shook his head, laughing.

"Relax. One day at a time. No 'what if's." Damien said softly.

[Midnight_Rain]

As if in reaction to Sdna, she smirked in her sleep.

Alexis sighed, "..I can't help it, I'm not a vampire who can predict the future." She said ironically.. xD

[Strega]

Sdna again kissed her forehead, "Sleep well, love."

Damien shook his head, "So? And I'm an ex-mad scientist."

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena smiled and drifted away her body still.

Alexis laughed a little, "The past is history, the future is a mystery and the present is a gift." She thought of the Chinese proverb.

[Strega]

Nada smiled, "You do love her...."
Sdna nodded.

Damien hugged her again, "Exactly!"

Artemis then started to cry...

Alexis smiled, "I believe my little sister told me that one." She huffed.

[Strega]

Sdna hurried to Artemis, "Ssh ssh ssh...." he murmered as he picked her up.

"You have a sister?" Damien asked.

Artemis slowly stopped crying, her little arms swung everywhere. She giggled at the sight of Sdna.


Alexis nodded her eyes low.

[Strega]

"Brat." Sdna smiled and cuddled her, "So much like your mother,.... But I didn't say that."

"I'm... sorry..." Damien said.

[Midnight_Rain]

Artemis laughed, and snuggled close to his chest and with all her little strength didn't let go.

Alexis sighed, "It's not your fault, I had to leave her when I was turned, you see..I couldn't resist temptation...." She mumbled.

[Strega]

"I'm not going anywhere, little one." Sdna said patting her head lightly.

"..... We could probably find her...." Damien said after a pause.

[Midnight_Rain]

Artemis smiled contently and rested her small head on his chest and closed her eyes, obvious not wanting to be alone.

Alexis looked up surprised, "Really?"

[Strega]

"Hungry?" Sdna asked, knowing they already had pre-made formula.

"Call it a wierd thing, but I have connections." Damien nodded, "I'd need a full name and last place you remember her living."

[Midnight_Rain]

Artemis made a noise, which meant "yes."

Alexis stiffened, "Are you sure?" She asked again before delivering the information.

[Strega]

Sdna went to the kitchen, softly humming as he got the bottle, "Here go." he held the bottle close to her mouth.
Nada smiled and gave them space.

Damien went to his computer, "'Ello doll. Long time no see." he pulled up a program and typed in the information, pulling up a new address and everything.

[Midnight_Rain]

Artemis sucked greatly, her small hands held the bottle, and her littlest pinky drummed against it.

Alexis walked over his shoulder, "Her name is Andrea...I last saw her in Paris, the street name is Boulevard Arago." Her tongue spoke with a French accent as she said the name. "Her last name is Davidson..she married a doctor." Alexis seemed to roll her eyes at the thought.

[Strega]

Sdna smiled, "You'll be strong..."

Damien smiled, "Oh, so you married the scientist and she got the doctor, huh?"

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena rolled and her hand hung on the side of the couch, her small hand touched the carpeted floor.
Artemis stopped drinking and smiled.

Alexis laughed then, "Yeah I got the better of the two. If you think about it, you're both a doctor and a scientist.." She winked.

[Strega]

Sdna smiled, "Geez, almost all of it. Piggly wiggly." he smiled tickling her.

"And stalker to boot!" Damien joked with a smile and a wink.

[Midnight_Rain]

Artemis laughed, giggled, squirmed.

Alexis laughed, "I'm the stalker, she wasn't married when I was human..I've been digging around..I called my brother yesterday..he was like all..surprised." She winced and then sighed, "I haven't told you much of my family..have I?"

[Strega]

Sdna smiled, "You are a gift...."

Damien shrugged, "We don't know much about each other."

"S.." She said with a little giggle.

Alexis sighed, "We should..we love one another.."

[Strega]

Sdna smiled, "S huh?"

Damien shrugged, "Isn't the fact that we love eachother enough?"

Artemis laughed then started babbling randomly.

Alexis sighed, "Yet aren't you suppose to know ..about the ones you love?"

Sdna smiled and barely bounced Artemis, "That's your mom....."

Damien shrugged, "I don't know much about Aden and Sora."

Artemis continued her baby talk but when the TV came back to the earlier news report, she grew quiet and intensely interested. Her eyes grew wide and she pointed saying more baby talk up at Sdna.


Alexis sighed, "Yeah.." Her eyes went back to the computer, her face red.

[Strega]

Sdna nodded, "Yeah... Bad stuff." he turned the TV off, "Mommy doesn't want you growing up in that world...."

Damien smiled, "Wanna go visit her?"

[Midnight_Rain]

Artemis seemed more grown up now. She shook her head hard as if noticing something he didn't.

Alexis smiled a big grin, "Yes!"

[Strega]

"I wish you could talk. This would be so much earlier." Sdna shook his head with a smile, "It'll happen soon...."

Damien grinned at her enthusiasm, "When?"

Artemis seemed to growl..but then sighed a young restless sigh. She shook her head..

Alexis shrugged, "Whenever we can make time?"

Sdna pulled Athena out of the grasp of the couch one more and sat in an arm chair with Artemis.

"How 'bout for my birthday?" Damien suggested.

Athena sighed, softly.
Artemis gave up on her trying to tell him anything and sat there staring blankly at the TV.

Alexis shook her head, "Nope that's the date of your party, so we're busy then.."

Sdna followed her gaze, sighed and turned it on, "Your mother will kill me...."

Damien flinched, "Busted.... How 'bout tomarrow."

[Midnight_Rain]

By this time an anime was on. She rolled her small eyes in annoyance.

Alexis smiled, "You won't get away with it. I'm going to make you have a birthday." She laughed, "Tomorrow is fine."

[Strega]

Sdna laughed, "Then what do you want to watch?"

Damien nodded, "Should we give her warning or show up unexpectedly?"

[Midnight_Rain]

"N.." She whispered and couldn't say the rest.

Alexis sighed, "Well I can't figure out what I should do.. When I called my brother he thought..I was dead. He almost had a heart attack.."

[Strega]

"News?" Sdna asked.

".... Calling would be better then....." Damien nodded, "Surprises like that can give people heart attacks."

[Midnight_Rain]

Artemis nodded, as if intent on telling something.

Alexis sighed, "I suppose. I just don't know her number, and I think calling my brother is a bad idea." x.x'

[Strega]

Sdna changed it to the news.

Damien pulled up a phone number, "Told you, I'm a creepy potential stalker dude."

Artemis watched while they talked about the suicide, it was then with some strange power of hers did she pause the room besides, Athena, Sdna, Nada and her. She pointed to the mirror in the room. Markings in some foreign language.

Alexis breathed and laughed, "You're amazing."

sdna blinked, "Oh my.... Time to wake Mommy and get uncle Nada...."

Damien smiled, "That's nice to hear."

Artemis stuck her thumb in her mouth and kept her eyes on the paused TV.

Alexis smiled and laughed.

Sdna gently shook Athena, "Love, Artemis noticed something we didn't. Get Nada."

Damien hugged her.

Athena awoke and jumped, "W-what?" She mumbled in a sleepy tone.


Alexis laughed and hugged him back.

[Strega]

Sdna pointed to the TV screen, "Summon Nada from wherever he went to."

Damien loved the sound of her laugh and closed his eyes.

Athena nodded hazy and closed her eyes once more. "Nada." She whispered, her voice a rush of impatence but pure magic. "Come."


Alexis breathed in, "How do I ever repay you?" She asked and let go, her body going woozy.

[Strega]

Nada appeared, "What's goin' on?"
Sdna sighed, "Artemis is.... observant...." he bounced the baby girl lightly.

Damien shrugged, "Just behave and no candles on the birthday cake.... We'll have to call the fire department." he joked.

[Midnight_Rain]

Artemis giggled and pointed to the TV.
Athena sighed and rubbed her eyes.

Alexis laughed, "Alright, I'll behave.." She rolled her eyes.

[Strega]

"Look at the mirror." Sdna motioned.
Nada did and rubbed his eyes, "No way...."

Damien nodded, "Good."
Apollo started to wriggle and whine.

[Midnight_Rain]

Artemis cooed, she smiled and continued to keep the television in that one frame.
Athena slipped off the couch and crawled over to the TV on her knees. She couldn't believe her eyes. "Is..that..Latin?"

Alexis sighed and went off sprinting toward his room, leaving Damien right when she heard his cry.

[Strega]

Sdna nodded, "And little miss Artemis found it...."
Nada stared, "Well, I can read everything BUT Latin....."

Damien followed.
Apollo saw Alexis and brightened, reaching for her.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena sighed, "I can read half of it.."
"Its warning us."

Alexis genitally picked him up and bounced him "What's wrong Apollo?" She asked softly.

Damien smiled, "That's right."

Athena sighed, "All I know is that its warning someone."
Artemis seemed to squrm then as if she knew the answer.

Alexis smiled brightly, "Say it with me, "Mmmmooommm" She felt silly.

[Strega]

Sdna sighed, "This kid is starting school early..." -_-'

Apollo laughed, "MIM!"
Damien chuckled.

"She gets it from me." Athena joked.
Artemis sighed.

Alexis laughed, "Mim..hmm close enough." She shrugged.

Sdna nodded, "she gets other things from you too... But we do need to find out... Damien!" his eyes opened, "He can read latin!"

Apollo giggled.
Damien nodded.

[Midnight_Rain]

Artemis laughed and Athena nodded. "Yes You're right. Hmm I wonder if I can summon him..." She thought and shrugged.

Alexis looked up at Damien, and a cold shiver ran through her. "Uh can you hold him for a sec?"

[Strega]

Sdna shrugged, "Go for it."

Damien nodded and held Apollo, who started squirming and reaching for Alexis.

((My nephew does that. My sister will hand him to me and go to take him back, and once she does, he wants me.))

Athena breathed in and whispered his name.

Alexis watched in awestruck horror as the air around them started to spin and when it was over Damien and the child were..gone. She blinked.

[Strega]

Damien blinked, "Ummmm....." seeing his new surroundings, "Hmmmm....."
Apollo squeeled with delight and clapped.
Sdna smiled, "Welcome!"
Nada was rolling on the floor laughing, "Someone should call Alexis!!!"

Athena smiled, "Yeah, considering the kid's with you." ^^
She closed her eyes and thought about Alexis.

Artemis seemed overjoyed when she saw Apollo, you'd think they were long lost siblings.

Alexis looked around a bit confused and then found herself standing strangely at Sdna's Apartment. She grew pale, "What..in the world..?"

[Strega]

Apollo smiled at Artemis and shoved his foot in his mouth.
"Hey! Out!" Damien said, considering the little socks were no longer on his feet.
Apollo grumbled and kept his foot there.
Sdna laughed, "They are unique..."

[Midnight_Rain]

Artemis seemed to squal at the TV. Her eyes upset, and her cheeks red. "E! E!" She screamed.

Athena seemed to grow anxious, "Well ..Damien..?" She asked turning toward him, "Check the TV here..Artemis..noticed this.." She pointed the frozen screen.

Alexis seemed to snarl in her chest at all the noise but sighed and smiled at Apollo, "You know thats rude in pubic?" She asked him bending lower to his level. Her eyes gave a warning shot.

[Strega]

Damien held Apollo out to Alexis, "Can you hold onto him for me?" he asked politely.
Sdna and Nada waited.
Apollo just smiled at Alexis.

[Midnight_Rain]

"Such a gentleman." She nodded taking him and holding him in a tight hug.

Athena sighed and looked back and forth. "This might be upsetting, Nada take the children somewhere else..?" She asked him her eyes saying she wasn't asking she was demanding.

[Strega]

Nada gently took Artemis from Sdna and motioned for Alexis to follow, "Unless we want to see if Apollo likes me...."
Sdna followed Damien to the Tv.
Damien's eyes skimmed over the words.

Alexis sighed and moved with Nada, "He's a vicious vampire." She teased and continued to hold him. "I don't think it'd be a great idea."

Athena sighed and bit her lip, "Its warning..who..what..?" She asked still anxious.

Nada laughed and led her to a room where they wouldn't be able to hear what was going on, AKA Artemis's room.

Damien's lips moved as he read it, his face going slightly pale, "..."
Sdna stared at hime, "Damien...."

Alexis sat down on the rocking chair with Apollo, "Wanna play with her?" She asked him in a sweet tone.
Artemis was too busy looking upward at the ceiling at the stars, her expression that of a calm nature now.

Athena breathed in a quiet breath, "Yes..?" She urged him on. Her heart was beating faster than a speeding bullet.

[Strega]

Apollo squeeled happily and reached for the moon.
Nada smiled.

Damien licked his now dry lips, "My... Dad....."
A string of profanities flew from Sdna's mouth under his breath.

[Midnight_Rain]

Alexis sighed and sensed something was wrong, "Watch them for a moment." Alexis said before dropping small Apollo in his playpen.
She began to walk to the door.

Athena froze for a second, "Your dad..did this?" She asked dumbly.

[Strega]

Apollo whined, but continued to reach for his goal.

Damien swallowed hard and looked away. He nodded, "Yeah... It's the he's always been. Betchya if you get news on the deceased, he'll by something other then human."

[Midnight_Rain]

Alexis about tripped running down the stairs under her breath she muttered, "Klutz."

Athena sighed, "Who was the kid?" She asked Sdna, seeming to have missed the news story, as if right on cue, the TV unfroze.

Artemis looked at Apollo a mischievous look in her eyes.

[Strega]

Apollo blinked at the small child.

Sdna turned the volume up a little. The lady repeated the name and revealed the fact that he was a werewolf.
Damien nodded, "Told ya so."

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena sighed, "This is bothersome."

Alexis walked up into the living room, "What's going on?"

Artemis giggled and looked at Nada, "Na!" She cheered.

[Strega]

"That's right, Arty. Uncle Na." Nada smiled, "You wanna play with Apollo?"
Apollo stared at the ceiling.

Damien turned to look at her, "... Bad stuff."
Sdna led her to the couch, "You left him alone with them....?"

[Midnight_Rain]

Alexis sighed, "They're fine, they're just observing the ceiling.."
"What bad stuff?" She looked confused, her eyes black. x.x

Athena sighed, "I know what's going on, I'll go up with Nada..I can see the accident now." She rushed up the stairs.

Artemis nodded with a simple bow of the head to Apollo.

Damien smiled weakly, "My dad."

Nada set her down.
Apollo didn't notice.

Alexis looked shocked.

Athena rushed up the stairs, "Well then!" She smiled her expression looked upset, but her voice was full of pure joy.

Artemis looked up, "M!"

[Strega]

"Mim!" Apollo said.

Damien walked over to Alexis, worry in his eyes, "Say something..."

Artemis continued to cry out, but this time her voice said English, "Mommy!"
Athena stopped dead in her tracks, she stood there stunned.

Alexis whispered, "Mim.."

Apollo pointed at the wall, "Mm-mmmm-mim!"

"Nada is that normal?" She whispered.


Artemis laughed, her giggly girly laugh.


Alexis sighed, "Your..dad?"

Nada shook his head.
Apollo covered his eyes, and when he removed his hands went, "Boo!"

Damien nodded.

Artemis laughed and giggled at Apollo's behavior.


Athena bit her lip.

Alexis looked like she was about to go into hysterics.

[Strega]

Damien wrapped his arms around her, "It's okay."

"Boo?" Nada blinked.
"Boo! Boo!" Apollo said.

Artemis just kept up on her giggling.
Athena sighed, "Well they seem to like each other.."

Alexis breathed in slowly, "How can you be sure?"

[Strega]

"I'm not, but we're okay and the babies are fine." Damien replied.

"Indeed." Nada replied.
"Booooooo!" Apollo repeated his movements.

[Midnight_Rain]

Alexis took in the information and found it hard to digest. She nodded after a few seconds of hard breathing.

Athena sighed, "Well then."
Artemis crawled forward to Apollo, a very confused look on her face.

[Strega]

Damien just swayed.

"Booooo!" Apollo pointed at the wall and covered his eyes, then removed his hands again, "BOO!"

[Midnight_Rain]

Artemis got to Apollo's side and she stared at the wall, her lips curling into a look of lost and confusion.

Athena observed, "What..are they doing?"

Alexis closed her eyes, a soft hum started in her ears. She breathed in deep careful breaths, unaware of Sdna still being there.

[Strega]

"BOOOOOO!" Apollo said exhaustedly. The ghost only being visable to his and Artemi's eyes.

Nada shrugged.

Damien had forgotten about him too.

[Midnight_Rain]

Artemis seemed to grow paste white for a second, but then she giggled.

Athena lowered her gaze as if concentrating. "I..don't understand."

Alexis whispered into his ear, "I feel ..dizzy.." She told him, her voice weak.

[Strega]

"Booo!" Apollo bounced on his but.

"Neither do I." Nada shook his head.

"Let's sit you down." Damien led her to the couch.
"Careful. Things go missing in that couch." Sdna warned.

Alexis looked at Sdna with another worried look. "Uhh.."

Athena stepped forward, "Artemis, Apollo?" She asked them.

Sdna shrugged, "It tried to suck Athena up..."

Athena sighed, "This..is a strange moment. What is it Apollo?" She smiled.

Artemis made no sign of movement.

Alexis took in a deep breath once more, "This is all too much." She said trying to calm her nerves.

"BOO!" the baby boy shook his head and made a scary face, "Boo!"

Damien set her down on the couch and made sure she didn't get eaten by it.

"Damien.." She whispered, "Check up on him, will you?" She asked softly, obviously referring to the baby.

Athena blinked, "Is there something scary in the room, Apollo?"

Artemis then..started to cry.

[Strega]

Damien nodded and went into the room.
Apollo siged and nodded, "Boo!"
"Ghost." Damien said.
Apollo bounced again and nodded.

"Shh.." Athena whispered into her daughter's ear. "Ghost?" She asked Damien. "We have a ghost in the house?" She took another look around the room.
Artemis's cries turned into a soft whimper.

Alexis felt her head, "Her eyes eying the television screen."

[Strega]

Damien shrugged, "If you do, I can't see it." he picked Apollo up, who continued his boo game.

Sdna raised an eyebrow, "Hn?"

[Midnight_Rain]

Alexis jumped, "Nothing...." She blushed.

Athena sighed, and picked Artemis up as well, "Well this probably isn't good."

Artemis didn't want Athena was reaching out for uncle Nada. Her little fingers reached for him.

[Strega]

Nada blinked, "Erm..."
Damien chuckled, "Well Apollo's not scared."

Sdna frowned, "You sure?"

"Yeah..I'm fine." Alexis whispered looking away.

Athena sighed, and laughed handing her to him. "She likes you."

Artemis seemed to smile at him.

Nada smiled and took the small girl in his arms, a small smile on his face.
Damien watched and bounced Apollo a little.

Sdna nodded, "If you say so...."

Alexis sighed and began to feel that icy feeling that people get when fear arises. She hoped she wasn't hyperventilating; her eyes grew ecstatic when she eyed the stairs.

Athena laughed, "It appears Nada that you will be doing plenty of babysitting..not just me of course." She winked and turned to Damien, "So I think we've got one hell of a problem." She didn't even tune down her words, her face looked upset.

[Strega]

Nada cradled Artemis lovingly, "Hi."
Damien nodded, "But your ghost can't be that bad if I can't see it..."

Sdna eyed her, "Are you sure you don't need anything?"

[Midnight_Rain]

"Well he sure seemed intimidated by it." She nodded to Apollo, "That is a sure thing that he can see it, and Artemis seemed a bit shocked."
Artemis pulled on shirt with her chubby little fingers, suggesting she wasn't going to let go of him.

Alexis could only manage a squeak of a "Yes."

[Strega]

Damien nodded, "It's scary, the first time seeing one......"
Nada smiled, "Don't worry, I'm not letting go...."

"You're bad at lying...." Sdna shook his head.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena sighed, "Yeah, just makes me ..anxious?" She wasn't sure she used the right word to describe her feeling right then.

Alexis laughed, but it wasn't out of a funny moment, "really?" She asked trying to throw him off subject.

Artemis closed her eyes and her body drifted into a soft sleep.

[Strega]

Damien smiled sadly, "They'll get used to it."

Sdna shook hishead, "You're not getting away with it THAT easily..." -_-'

Nada watched the small girl, already protective of her, 'Her future boyfriends are going to have a hard time getting past us....'

[Midnight_Rain]

"Lets hope." She said looking over at Artemis and sighed. Athena took in a deep breath.

Alexis laughed again weakly, stilling playing the "I'm fine game"


Artemis continued to sleep.

[Strega]

Damien shrugged.

Sdna said nothing more.

Nada started to gently put her in the crib.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena sighed again, "Shall we?" She asked nodding for the door.

Alexis breathed in a soft breath, she lowly hummed as if she wasn't going to budge or burst any time soon.

Artemis continued to sleep, a soft yawn.

[Strega]

Damien nodded and started to walk out. Apollo giggled.

Sdna sat down in an armchair.

Nada followed, watching little Arty.

[Midnight_Rain]

Alexis sighed.

Athena felt the distress of the air and she looked nervous.

[Strega]

Damien sat down next to Alexis, Nada stayed by Athena's side.

[Midnight_Rain]

"Okay everyone!" Athena hissed through a clenched jaw, "I think we need to have a meeting..now." She looked slightly aggravated.

Alexis glanced up.

[Strega]

((I have to go soon, so if I randomly get off, you know why.))

"Uh-oh! He did it!" All three men pointed at each other.
Apollo laughed.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena went red, "Okay nobody did anything..yet." She added. She carefully climbed down the stairs. "First thing is we have a ghost in the house. The second thing is I can't have my friends having mental breakdowns and third, No fighting." She eyed everyone.
"Now join me in the library." She said pointing to the small little study.

[Strega]

They followed.

Athena stood leaning against a wall, her arms crossed.

Alexis followed behind everyone.

[Strega]

Sdna went to Athena's side, Nada took one of the chairs, as did Damien, but he sat cross legged, looking much like a first grader, but he held Apollo close.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena sighed and motioned for Alexis to sit down. Her eyes boring into her.
"I.."
"Sit down." She whispered in clenched teeth.
"Yes, Athena." She went over by Damien and hesitantly sat down.
"Well we have a problem." Athena declared to everyone.

[Strega]

They listened intently, watching her.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena bit the inside of her cheek, "Not only do we have to worry about Damien's father, but we have a ghost! I know what you're thinking,' Athena's motherly instincts are a little out of control.'" She shook her head, "No somethings up..I can tell. Artemis and Apollo maybe children..." She drifted on not sure of what to think. Looking to Sdna she gave him a helpless look.
Alexis watched, ' A...ghost? Apollo?' Her gold eyes went to the little boy's face..

[Strega]

"But they're still sensitive to the same things we are. If anything, more so because of who their parents are." Sdna finished the sentence, hoping he'd gotten it right.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena nodded, "Yes. They're just like us. So I don't believe its a normal ghost." She conceded. "So have any ghost busters?"
Alexis shook slightly, "No I have no experience when it comes to ghosts. Now faeries on the other hand.." She sighed.

[Strega]

"Aden's senses about this stuff are better then mine and Sora's equipped, physically and mentally, to deal with that type of stuff...." Damien murmered, thinking aloud. It was something he'd learned when he was studying them.
Sdna raised an eyebrow.

[Midnight_Rain]

"So does that mean I summon them as well?" Athena asked trying to ignore the fact that he knew this from his studies.

Alexis nodded to Athena.

[Strega]

"You could, but it would be better if I called and had them walk, Aden hates the whole, 'one place one minute, another place the next..." Damien smiled a little. The boy really hadn't ever been fond of teleportation.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena nodded, her foot tapped against the floor.

Alexis shied a little. "I need a minute to myself anyway." She stood and began to walk away.

[Strega]

Damien pulled out his cell phone and roughly 15 minutes later Sora came bounding in the door, dragging Aden with her.

Alexis sat on the couch, trying to calm her nerves.

Athena was upstairs with Artemis.
Artemis was just about to wake.

[Strega]

Damien explained what was going on.

Athena came back down, holding Artemis, who was sleepishly awake.

Alexis crossed her arms.

Damien looked at Apollo, then at Alexis, "Wanna hold him?" he smiled at her, he was such a baby hog....
Aden looked at the sleepy Artemis and couldn't help but smile.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena sighed, "Okay, Aden, Sora, you know what's going on, please tell me what can you do?"

Alexis smiled and nodded, reaching for him.

Artemis blinked her dark green eyes over at everyone with a happy smile.

[Strega]

"It's not really a learned thing...." Aden smirked.
"Instincts!" Sora nodded with a happy smile, "So, which rooms the nursery?"
Damien handed her Apollo.
Apollo giggled and reached for his mom.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena smiled softly, "This way.." She started for the stairs.

Alexis took a hold of Apollo, "Hello." She said in a motherly tone.


Artemis giggled and cooed at the visitors.

[Strega]

Aden and Sora followed, but Aden had looked at Artemis and smiled, babies were always something that made him go soft about.

Apollo giggled again hugged her as best he could.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena made it to the nursery, and she nodded her head to the door. "In there."

Alexis straightened and she patted his back as she rested his head up against her shoulder. She started to hum soothingly.

Artemis got quiet.

[Strega]

Aden opened it and was instantly amazed at the room, "Wow...."
"Pretty....." Sora murmered.

Apollo burped a little.

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena smiled at the treatment her stars were getting. She stepped in Artemis looked around wearily.

Alexis laughed softly, and then she looked at Damien, "Should we go up?"

[Strega]

As soon as the small child was in the room, Aden's eyes widened, "Oh wow... So many of them....."
Sora entertwined her fingers with her brother's.

Damien shook his head, "The fewer people the better."

[Midnight_Rain]

Athena tried to calm down Artemis who was about to throw a fit. "What can you do?"

Alexis nodded slowly, "What..are we to do Damien?"
