this is kind of light halloween town but not. it's about a small town in the middle of the woods there is never a sun ownly a moon. everyone is not normal looking.

Blair and Mia sat on top of a tree and watched the day moon sink in the sky and the night moon rise.

Jaryn's eyes fluttered open, she had been lying amongst the graves litsening to the noises i the woods, she stood and looked twards the olld gronds house she could see that one boy, Jasper, was that his name? he had flirted with her so many times she was used to ignoring him, "stupid boys," she muttered to herself as she stalked amopnst the gaves. In her loose white top, and her hair sticking out every which way she looked kinda like a lost spirit herself. Wich, in a sense, was kinda true. as she gazed up at the rising night moon an electric chill shocked her to the verry core, she just adored the night, but every now and then she wondered about life in the light

Jasper gazed longingly at the figure that was siouetted aginst the rising night moon, her bare eyes reflecting teh brightness of it. but he knew better than to approach her again, she had hit him hard enough to make his verry bones rattle, not that he was well constructed anyway, in fact most people around this place had a zombie like quality about them. after gazing at the figure a little longer he slipped back into the house that was as rickety as his grandfather. pulling out a pad that was already half filled with shadowy sketches his started to doodle a gostly shape amongst the all too familar headstones.

mia dropped her head and it fell on a roof of a house the roof was weak there and he fell through it. "Max!" she screamed and jumped out of the tree and ran into the house. "Mia!" Blair called after her. she jumped down and ran after her.

Jaryn whirled around at the sound of voices coming from teh direction of the groundskeeper's house. "Mia?" she thought, yeah, th creepy little girl in teh village who always carried around that head. she grimmaced. how was it talking anyway, it had no lungs or volcal cords... but then again, she had no pupils and she could see. just for kicks she went to see Jasper's reaction to the head crashing through his roof. she knew it creeped him out.

When the head landed, right smack in the center of his darwing hi nearly screamed and jumped so high he hit the cealing. "damn, stupid...' he muttered as he carried the protesting head outside to look for the creepy little girl with no eye on one side, mia was it? "WHO OWN THIS THING?" he hollard without need seeing teh two girls running twards the house.

"Max!" Mia Gragged max and hugged him. "Mia what did i tell you about running around with that head." Blair said. "i have a name you know mun." Max said.

Jaryn leaned aginst a stone cross headstone rolling her eyes at teh scene before her, it was kinda funny actually, a little girl holding a head, wich was scolding a girl that looked in her teens. in fact, she almost laughed, but she had forgotten how, so she just smiled, but that looked more like a smirk. "MIA, did you loose your head over the rising mon? she called coyly.

Jasper shuddered rubbing his head where it had hit the cealing. and he looked at Jaryn with confusion. "well," he muttered rubbing the back of his head "if you have your...erm...head back I gotta go" He slipped into the house shaking his head.

"hey come back mun i'm not done with you yet mun!" MAx yelled after him. "come on Mia" Blair said pulling mia away.

Jaryn shook her head, and slid back among the graves scanning the ground for her book, "which one read it THIS time?" she whispered to herself, "I left it by old man jenkins last week and I'm pretty sure naomi alread read this when she was alive" seh was refferign of corse to the corpses, she talked about eh dead like they were alive... "erm oh yeah! she raced around a couple of head stones and took a right at the twins grave, crossing herself as she passed the young girls' graves. she nelt doen in front ofa worn headstone and pulled the book from wehre it was wedged in the crumbling rock. "Dracula" she nodded flipping open teh book who's cover was practiacally falling off.

Once inside Jasper found the window from wich he could see the gaveyard in it's fullenss, he smiled at the way the amber moon cast it's shadows over the toumbstones it illuminated a solitary statue of an angel if you could call it that...it had the angelic face of one, and the wings, But it had fangs, and eyes that even though they were stone seemd to follow you. he had drwm her many times but tonight the moon hit her at such an angel and gave it such a gastly glow he couldn't help but draw her again.

Bliar half dragged Mia back to the broken tree house were they live. "mun your no fun at all mun" max said. "yeah no fun" Mia said.

as a brisk wind passed through the air Jaryn ****ed her head to litsen......then after a moment of litsening to the scuttling leaves she sighed. "fine fine I'll let you finish it I've read it millons of times anyway" she muttered wedging the book back into place and started wainding her way around the graveyard where two small crosses stood that were once white but now are gray with age. "Hello mother, father" she said softly brushin her fingers over the aging paint,

Jasper's eyes flashed as they caught the moonlight and he saw for a split second a shimmering sprit hovering over a grave....he shook his head and looked again, but there was nothing. it was just a trick of the light, he convinced himself turning back to his drawing wich was starting to look as demonic as the statue herself.

ALex was walking through the forest she was bored her head had hurt from the rough houseing she had done. ALex yanwed and jumped into a tree, she looked at the moon and let out a howl, she wanted to trasfrom tonight but felt like she should wait.

Blair climbed into the tree house and walked into the kichen.

"Mun she's no fun." Max said when Blair left. "Yeah i know." Mia and she walked over to a rock and set Max on it. "I wish something would happen around here it's so boring.." Mia said.

Jaryn heard teh haowling and smiled to herself whitsling long and low as the wind does through the trees. she fingered the smteal cross that she kept under her top, she wasn't religous, but it was her mothers and she kept it more for comfort than anything else. Standing she walked swiftly into teh forest looking for anything out of her oridinary.

Jasper too heard the howl but ignored it. he saw a girl in a tree, just looking up into teh sky, quickly he shut the sketch pad and walked over to where the girl was wondering if she'd see him.

ALex smelled someone so she looked down and seen a boy, she didn't say anything she just looked at him. Her black hiar was in a low lying poney tail aher he hoddie she wore was as black as her hair.

Mia slipped a little and dropped Max. "Max" she almost screamed.
"hay mun watch it! ooff" he said as he hit the ground.
Blair heard Mia scream and looked outside "Mia don't be so lound we're not the only people that live here you know" she siad.

Jaryn slid easily through the forest, she saw the treehouse where the girl with the head lived. she passed Jasper staring up into a tree, she scoffed as she passed him, she saw another girl, this one with cat ears, "interesting" she mumbled, jumping into a nearby tree with ease. "who's this?" though she was a little ways off, Jaryn coul still see the other girl.

Jasper smiled his pointed grin, "you like the moon?" he guessed leaning aginst a tree adjecent to the tree that the strange girl was sitting in.

ALex shurgged "I guess" she replied, she yawned a bit, her vampire vangs were showing tonight. SHe jumped down from the tree and looked at the boy? "So who are you?" she asked

"Max are you ok?" Mia said as she picked Max up and started walking away. "yeah mun i'm ok but it would be nice if you didmn't drop me so much"

Jaryn settled in to watch the girl and litsen to the wind as she did often, for some reason the dead were chatty tonight "yes yes" she hissed under her breath. then she blinked reapidly and looked up at the moon that just barely shoe out from under the dark canopy of the woods it wasn't it's normal silver but was turning a slightly red tone and she wondered if she was the only one who noticed.

"My name's Jasper" he said cooly, "I live with the groundskeeper at teh old graveyard". "and you?" he asked, running his toung over his teeth as inconspicuously as possible

ALex closed her eyes "I'm Alex" she replied, she turned her head to look at the moon "Well, Well it looks as though I have no choice tonight" she replied she turned back around "SO you live with the grounds keeper of the graveyard "Intresting" she said smiling.

Jasper shrugged, "if you can call it that" he muttered. "the only really interesting thing its that girl who wanders around talking to the headstones" he said " soo, what are you doing out here...other than watching the moon...."

Jaryn sighed 'you'd think she would be more intresting' she thought disdainfully, 'I'm outta here'. she slid from the tree and found a different way back to the graveyard.

"To think and for Safty precations" she said smiling "I hate to cut our little meeting short but one of us needs to go and that one is me" Alex said stepping back into a pull of moonlight her body started to tranfrom she went form being 5 foot to about 12 her fur was black and her eyes were red. Where Alex once stood was a Werewolf.

"ok i'll try not too.." Mia said and looked around to see where she was. "now look we're lost!" Max said.

A little ways off Jaryn heard the girl and her talking head, swiftly and silently she found them, max wasn't helping their hiding "if you're going to survive while the blood moon's full" she started ominusly "you have to shut that darn head up". She looked pointedly at the head and then turned to Mia, "what are you doing out here anyway?" she asked not really interested.

Jasper took a stpe back then another, staring at the werewolf that was in Alex's place. after studying her for a few seconds he reluctantly turned away and tore twards the house.

"mun go away your not helping." Max said. "Max be nice. we were walking kind of got lost..." Mia said looking at the ground.

Suddenly, a gust of wind blew through the forest, cold and harsh. Jaryn litsened for a second, "alright then.." she said softly. Turning to the girl and her head she cought a moth on her fingertip, "well I suppose you're in luck, the old lady wants to help you....okay, follow the moth and it should lead you to your house." she lifted her hand away and moved oout of the way so Mia and Max could see it, "well, what are you waiting for, the dead travel fast." with that, she turned and walked away

As soon as he got in the door, with the image of the werewolf fresh in his mind he began to draw, sketching out every detail he could remeber and filling in the girl's features where he could not.

ALex stood looking at the moon for a moment she let out another howl and started on her hunt.

Jaryn stood near the "demonic angel" staring into the forest, trying to pinpoint where the howling was coming from, she had a good idea that it was right in Mia's path. "maby the moth WASN'T such a good thing" she thought warily, then wondered why she cared. "it's because Old lady Criser likes Mia," she told herself, outloud.

Shaking his head to clear teh fog Jasper tried to remeber the wolf form of the girl he had met. "red eyes, black fur, muzzle, tall....why is it so hard then" he said exasperated. staring into teh forest.

Mia dropped Max again "Max!" "Mun stop that!" Max yelled. "sorry" Mia said and picked Max up. "where did the moth go?" she said and looked around for it.

Blair looked outside "Mia! Mia it's time for dinner!" Blair Yelled for Mia but she didn't come.

A moth lighted on Jaryn's finger then thinned into a small cloud of dust that was swept away in the wind, only a verry small glittering crystal wasleft on her fingertip. Sighing hevily she walked over to Old Lady Criser's headstone adn pushed the speck into the dirt and rotting flowers that her childern had long forgotten about. "You've done well" she said a catch in her voice barely audible. The spirits were her only friends and she had just lost one. "goodbye" she whispered walking back to find Mia, she couldn't let Criser down, and she had to avoid the werewolf.

Alex emerged from the forest, she felt her blood lust, in herhead she was trying to get the werwolf to go back but the secent picked up soetmhing that she wanted.
