I thought that I would make a Trigun fan club, the reason why I made this though is because I have not seen anything involving Trigun. Alright, Trigun is one of my favorite animes and I know a few people who say the same. And I’m hoping that many people will come and join this too. Well, I was thinking that we could use this to chat it about Trigun or maybe you guys can even post fanfics on this. Discuss about your favorite characters and other things like that. Now for the secret I have never been in a fan club let alone made one, so if you have any idea what I should do… please tell me. You can PM me or you can post it on here. YAY!!!!! TRIGUN!!!! ^-^ Oh and one more thing, if you want something said, tell me and I will post it on the second entry.

A short summary for those who do not know what Trigun is.

This is the story of Vash the Stampede, a.k.a. The Humanoid Typhoon, and the two Bernardelli Insurance agency employees Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson who were ordered to follow him and minimize the damage that seems to follow Vash everywhere he goes. Much of that damage is caused by the activities of the bounty hunters who are after the $$60,000,000,000 ($$ = double dollar) reward on Vash's head for the destruction of a city called July (which, amazingly, resulted in no direct loss of life to the city's inhabitants). Vash does not clearly remember the destruction of July, and only wants "love and peace," as he puts it; though he is a gunfighter of near god-like skill, he uses his weapons only to save lives wherever he can.

Trigun News

The date of the Trigun X movie probably won't happen as stated in a magazine, considering comments from Madhouse preluded to a 2007 release in Japan. The most recent news I've seen is from Nightow saying they're in pre-production. So, basically, I'm guesstimating a year later or so from the original inference. ~Thanks to Charmless_Anachronism

I guess when Vashu meets Legato for the first time.... I thought that it was so funny and mest up at the same time... When Legato played that image in Vashu's head about him breaking that little girls neck... and during the whole time he had his hands up and the girl was eating a hotdog. I guess you can say that, I think it's cute when Legato laughs. I don't know.

Wikipedia had information. And Anime News Network.

And, ya know what I just thought of, in "Sin" when Vash shoots Midvalley's sax, in Japanese he says "My la is gone. Well, I first saw it on Adult Swim and just reaaaaaaaally liked it. I started taping episodes and then eventually just bought the anime. It was my first really big fandom anime. Then, me bought the manga. How about you?

What I really like about the manga is that it just goes so much more deeper than the anime. You really get to see the diverse sides to characters. I really like Midvalley, opposed to anime Midvalley, because you actually get to see his history and personality. Knives is way better too. He's so cute!...Another random thought.

The date of the Trigun X movie probably won't happen as stated in a magazine, considering comments from Madhouse preluded to a 2007 release in Japan. The most recent news I've seen is from Nightow saying they're in pre-production. So, basically, I'm guesstimating a year later or so from the original inference. ~Thanks to Charmless_Anachronism

I wonder if the movie will be produced with at least some Yasuhiro Nightow direction. If "Wolfwood vs. Vash" really is the tag-line (which I sincerely hope not), there is an evident problem with the plot. Episode 23, "Paradise", would poke a lot of holes through that theory. It's been speculated that the movie will be a continuation from (pretty sure I mentioned this on here a long time ago) the series or based off the manga.

BTW, has anyone read (think its volume eleven) the latest Wolfwood-filled volume of the Trigun manga? It explained so much more about Wolfwood than from what we get in the series. I want say something, but I don't want to spoil anything for anybody else so...if i can talk about it...Tell me I can.

You know, Vash is always promoting love and peace, but he probably wouldn't have gotten as far as he did (at least, it might've been a bit more difficult) without people like Livio and Wolfwood to kill some of his enemies. It almost makes him somewhat hypocrytical, but I'm sure, knowing Vash's character, he's fully aware of that. He's probably mentioned it somewhere...maybe...???

If you guys don't read the manga, you should go find it on the web and read it. I'm on volume twelth. I think there's one more after this.

Knives in the manga is sooooo cute! He's the cute one. Vash is the less cute one. I like the manga's version of the past a lot better because it's less (cliched?). Knives is the one who is more willing and hopeful to be friends with the humans. I liked it because it made Knives more relatable. And he was seriously adorable. Baby plants...so cute...

No problemo! Nope, I haven't checked my sources lately, but there has been a few press releases. Nightow advertised the movie in the fourteenth manga (which was released April 8th in the U.S.A.) and some storyboards and other things have been released. But they have not released the date yet, but it really does appear as if it will be released soon. Not like the video game which was mentioned once and never again.

Also, the movie will be straight-to-DVD. I'm sad it's not going to be in theaters (cause I will so be in Japan over the summer), but this also means it could be translated more quickly.

Where are you finding all this out? Did you google it? I'm actually really sad about the game. I think it only came out in Japan... because I saw an airing of the commercial for it. I don't know if you've played the Gungrave games that came to America, but that's what the game looked like for Trigun.

I can't wait for the movie to come out. As for the manga I've yet to finish it.

Me too! I really hope all the English voice actors do the dubs again. I don't know about you, but I like both the Japanese and English voice actors. That's one anime that I thought did a great job with voice talent.

I don't know when I saw the video, but I know it was a long time ago. At least one or two years ago. Also the reason why Trigun had such a huge gap in between the third manga and then to Maximum, was that it was just personal project. The people who hired Yasuhiro ended up making him cut the project short, to begin work on Gungrave. At least that's what I could recall.

For some reason all the English actors sounded the part for them. As for the Japanese ones most of them sounded good, but Legato sounded a little feminine even thought I know that he's gay in the original.

I really want to finish the manga but I'd rather buy them, then read them online. I get distracted easily when on the internet.

True. This reminds of House for some reason. That show has started going down a bad, melodramatic path. It's been said that every basic theme of every movie can be traced back to William Shakespere. No one is every truly original. Though, if I were to make a Trigun move, I don't think it would be because I coudn't think of something on my own to make cash. I think it would be because I like it so much. I would want...to prolong its life...by putting new spins on it. I would be interested in seeing how it would look with real people. *shrug* When I think of a Trigun movie or Bebop movie, part of me thinks it would be cool.
