Hello! And welcome to 'The Box'

Before you join this, you should know about it no?

The Box is a club located in Britland XD . It was started by 6 young friends. Stu, Stripes, Charles, Bert, and Jake. One night the young companions were bar hoping as usual, and being only 15-16 Bert or Jake usually slipped the bouncer some cash. Any who, on this night the boys could find no club except a paricularly posh one called 'Night' In there, Stripes and Charles were taunted for their gothy appearance, and Stu being particulary deffensive for his delicate friend Stripes caused a rucus and they all got thrown out. As they sat on the curb , Stripes spoke.

''Ugh.. Wouldn't it be nice if you could go some where were you wern't poked at for yer bleedin' outlook.'' he put his hands in his knees and sighed.

''Yeh it'd be cool.'' Stu said, who had a tall orange and red mohawk, several piercings on his face and in his ears and quite a few tatoos. He was more of the punk class.

Charles smiled brightly, '' Ahh, that would be great. Maybe have different sections for different styles you know?'' he said to Stripes. Stripes nodded.

''Alright laddys,'' Bert started. ''If you want to make this happen. I can do it. Me pa has a spare building that they're gunna knock over. So you kids give me $200 each and I'll buy the club. As long as Jake agrees.'' he added.

'' Really Bert?!'' Stripes yelled. ''Jake what do you think?'' he asked

''Oi don't talk to me.'' Jake said, not purticularly liking Stripes nor Charles. He being a sort of wigger and Bert more preppy.

''Don't be harsh fool.'' Stu hissed and hit Jake. ''Now what say yer?'' he asked

''I guess..'' he sighed. And with that the club was started.

The club consists of 4 floors and a basement. Different people with certain fads go up to different floors to enjoy the music they wanted, and be comfortable with the people. After a few years the friends had lost interest in the club and gone their separate ways. Now 26 Stripes single handedly ran the club. Bert still paid for most of it, and Stripes made no money from it so had a secret job. Stripes was a rather tall man, 6' some thing with long black hair to about his butt. He never wore a shirt for reasons unknown (if you ask hell tell) and his face was always painted nicely in the goth style along with his shoes, pants and various arm warmers and jewlery he some times wore.

So, sorry the thing was long. >> But if you want to join by working in the club or being just a clubber or a bouncer, please send a character thingy to say what you look like. I will play Stripes and you can use one of the other guys if you want. >> Except Stu Oh yeah, and the whole thing doesnt have to be in the club, like we can leave it an stuff. XD Its just based here.

''Hey it's about time ya got there. Im about freezin my nads off..'' A bouncer said.

''Yea, Sorry. Well you do know that you have to stay out here any way..'' Stripes said quietly, then unlocked the big doors.

Charles walked over to the front of the club, and depending on if Stripes opened it or not, he walks in, and says... "Good morning..." In his cute/hottish British accent.

''Heyy Charlie-dearest.'' he smiled sweetly. ''What have you been doing these days? It's great to see you.''

Charles smiled a little. "I've just been here and there... nothing much, I guess... but, where's Stu...? You just spoke to him..." Charles said/asked.

''Ohm.. Well I guess he ran off..'' his voice creaked. ''He's always doing that you know.'' Stripes shook his head. ''Why don't we grab a drink and reminice.'' Stripes winked.

Rey pushed her dark hair out of her face, her bare arms cold in the night air.

If she was nervous about her first night at her new job, she didn't let anyone know it.

She looked down at herself, checking her outfit one last time: a pair o tight jeans and a yellow tank top that hugged her *curves* tightly. She knew she'd be getting a lot of looks tonight. She grinned. She hated the attention....but she loved making it go away. However physically painful it might be for the person at the receiving end.

Stripes shook his head when Jake didnt answer, and walked over to a man who was working in the office.

''Lots of people tonight?'' he asked hopefull.


''Loads more then yesterday.'' the man smiled in return. ''This clubs been goin' strong for about 10 years ! I don't thin kyou ha ve any thing to worry about. Except making more contests for publicity.'' the old man said.

''Ah yea.. I've been... not doing that.'' he said. He waved good bye and went to a chair. He smiled as oblivious people gave him strange looks and headed up stairs.

Rey pushed open the back door, welcoming the burst of warm air that came with it. Looking at the piece of paper in her hand, she snorted. She was looking for a guy named...Stripes. She laughed to herself, then shrugged. 'Oh well,' she thought. 'No worse than Vereyu, I guess.'

Stripes ****ed his head as he saw the girl whip the doors open.

A greeter went to her,

''Can I help you find your floor maam?'' he asked as he lets his eyes wander.

Without a second thought, Rey had her hand on the man's shoulder, in a place that would have been exquisitely *sp* painful of squeezed.

"Head up, pretty boy. Where's...Stripes?"

''Ahh yeah.'' He's face went to worry instantly. ''He's the gent. over there.'' He said pointing to Stripes.

Rey grinned, though there was no sign of actual happiness in her eyes.

"Thank you for your help, sir," she said, letting go of the man, as she began to walk toward Stripes. Then she turned to face him. "Oh," she said, matter of factly, "and if you try THAT again, I promise I won't even give you a chance to answer."

She walked straight up to Stripes and stuck out her hand. "Rey," she said. "I'm the new bouncer here?"

It took a moment for it to register in his mind.

''Ohh! Yes yes. Welcome to The Box!'' He stood up. ''I think you'll do quite well after watching that preformance.'' he giggled. Then, stuck out his hand to be shook XD ''Let's chat about the job over a drink?'' he suggested.

Rey raised an eyebrow then shrugged. "If you're buying," she said bluntly.

''Ofcourse, it's on the house.'' He said, then walked down into the basement. He led her to a quite corner where they wouldn't be bothered by the couple drunkards and loud music.

Rey sat across Stripes and watched the crowds. They weren't very different from her other jobs. Maybe a few bigger guys-louder and drunker, too-but she'd learned from experience that just made them more ****y. She grinned to herself. 'Which also means they're more stupid.'

She looked at Stripes. She was independant, but she wasn't stupid. She'd left that a long time ago after being sent to the hospital while trying to break up a particularly nasty fight.

"How rough do they have to get before someone else steps in?" she asked. "Not that I expect them to get that rough," she added.

''Well, on the upper floors we tend to have more problems. Usually we step in when they start contact or people start complaining you know? Nothing too bad has ever happened though. The barkeeps usually stop when ther person stumbles or blabbers.'' he paused. '' But, I guess theres a first for every thing.'' he raised his brows and dropped them. He took a sip of what ever he was drinking that some one brought over <.< ''Were they rough where you last worked?''

Rey gave a dry laugh. She stood and walked over to Stripes, keep her eyes on him. She pulled her shirt up high enough to reveal her stomach....and a six inch scar along her side.

"You could say that. That was the night the other bouncer decided to 'have a drink'. A riot broke out.....I stopped it, but not before some drunk bigot stabbed me with his broken beer bottle." She shrugged, dropping her shirt. "People-the guys usually-tend to think they can take advantage of me." She grinned at him again, her green eyes flashing in anger. "They can't."

Rey took her time getting to work the next night. It wasn't thjat she was unexcited....she was just thinking.

Her fourth job in two months-that was her life. Bouncing at clubs, moving on just when....

She snorted and stopped. Whatever. It was nothing. Everything was nothing.

Instead, she found a young man sitting by himself at the bar. She shrugged. He looked official enough.

"Do you work here?" she asked, without bothering for any polite introduction. What was the point? She didn't DO friends.

Charles looked at the girl. "No, but I helped start the place..." He said.

Rey rolled her eyes in irritance *sp??*. "Look, do you know where Stripes is? All I wanna know is where I'm supposed to bounce tonight, all right?"

"He's not here right now... I don't know when he'll be back." Charles said, getting a little stern.

Rey cursed under her breath, glaring at the man at the table. She sized him up--she could have taken him easyily. But that wasn't her job, and it would do no good to get fired her first night.

"Whatever," she said bitterly. "If you see him, tell him Rey's looking for him."

Charles was sitting at the bar, on a bar stool, duh, looking over at the wall, and looking at some posters and stuff.

Stripes was in his favorite place, first floor lobby. Drinking some tea. An equally as tall man as he sat next to him. He shook his head, his big mohawk not moving.

''I'm tellin' yer Willy let the damn kids stay with ye fer awhile'' He said sipping his friends tea.

''Mm Stu.. I'm not sure about that.'' he sighed. ''Dia will get crazy with out them. But it would be better fpr them.''

Rey walked through the noise and sweat of theplace, taking in the crowds and looking for Stripes at the same time.

''Willy..'' Stu said in a tsking sort of way. Stripes turned to say some thing, but he was gone.

Charles yawned, and looked over at a wall again.

Stripes sighed and ran down to the basement, there he spotted Charles. He went next to him,

''Hey cutey, this seat open.'' he winked then laughed at himself

Charles smiled, and looked at Stripes. "If it's you asking, it's always open..." He said.

''Heh heh heh. So what are we drinking tonight?'' Stripes asked sitting next to him. ''So where do you live now? I know you said here. But where..'' he asked.

"Whatever you want to drink, I'll have... I just live a few miles away from here..." Charles said.

''Hmm I don't want to drink. Let's dance.'' Stripes winked and pulled Charles behind him to the dancing floor.

''We've been having problems here lately with people not being able to get in..'' Stripes said over the tunes. ''Do you think we should change dress code or some thing?'' he asked. (("YEH Code XD))

"No, the dress code should stay the same..." Charles said.

Rey finally stopped somewhere on the third floor, where the crowds seemed the roughest. There were already a few men (bouncers) there. she grinned. They'd underestimate her, of course. They always did-at first. She took her place at the bar, looking like a casual customer. ((Woot woot undercover!))

"I don't know... don't ask me any questions like that... I haven't been able to think lately... some stuff's on my mind..." Charles said, whilst also dancing.

''Oh, Like what?'' Stripes asked watching a girl next to him dance. ''I cant say my mind has been so clear these days either.'' he nodded.

"Just.. being back here... seeing you... lots of old memories, you know...? What about you...?" Charles asked, turning Stripes's head to look at him.

Rey swirled her third free drink in two hours, already bored with the fifth guy who'd tried to woo her.

'Why are all guys so conceited?' she thought to herself, "Josh's" words going in one ear and out the other. He'd been talking about himself now for ten minutes straight. She probably could have fallen asleep. The only way he'd have noticed (or cared) is if he saw she wasn't staring at him. 'As if I'm really interested.'

Suddenly, she heard slurred and drinken yelling from the other side of the room. "Look....Josh, I gotta go," she gave him a half smile, glad for a reason to go.

He turned to see where she was looking, and as she passed him, grabbed her arm, grinning at her. "What you think YOU'RE gonna break that up? Yeah, right, Missy. Let one of the bouncers handle that. That's a man's job," he finished, laughing.

Rey snorted. 'It's almost like he knows the EXACT words to say to get beat up...' she thought, happily. She LOVED proving herself.

Jake walked in and saw a fight in the process. He stopped, Staring

Rey grabbed Josh's arm and squeezed painfully. A confused, "What the-" was all he got out (as usual) before she flipped him over her shoulder with ease. Before he could get up, she had her foot against his throat. He glared at her, wheezing. She smiled back sweetly.

"I said," she started, putting a little more force on his neck at the word "said", "I gotta go."

she took her foot of his throat-he took a deep breath, coughing. As she walked away, she heard him utter something she couldn't hear, though it was probably something along the lines of, "Stupid b***h." She heard other men whistling at her as she walked away, but she knew none ot them would try anything.

She approached the drunken brawl calmly. Only two men, and not terribly big, either. She checked over her shoulders for her fellow bouncers. Both men seemed interested in what she would do-they were waiting for her to prove herself. She shrugged. Fine. Prove herself she would.
